Very causal with outdoor seating and a huge space inside with a lot of seating including a barstool area. The menu is extensive, unfortunately not many vegetarian options but there are some. Dessert showcase as well as an espresso machine of which I didn't try but should have. The veggie arepa was very good. The filling was full of flavor and a nice balance of different ingredients. The arepa itself was a touch dry, but nothing major. The fried plaintains were good and you get a lot!

Popped in for an empanada and will have to come back to try more of their food. We each got a Venezuelan beef empanadas to go. The meat was juicy and delicious - the crust was thick and crispy. Almost had more of a cornmealy texture, which we really enjoyed. Also the green sauce was to die for. Delicious and very filling! I can't tell if the restaurant is new or if it was because it was Friday evening, but the display counter was very sparse with sweet treats that seemed store bought and didn't look very enticing. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu like the arepas, tacos, other empanada options, pantacones, and more!

If I could give it a lower star I would, customer service is horrendous. Also found plastic wraps in my tacos. How do you mess up tacos?

Banda paisa was delicious and the chicken empanadas weren't bad either. Solid Colombian food. Cute decor. Just don't use the bathrooms. There are two unisex bathrooms. One had a broken lock, the other one had no soap and both of them needed a good cleaning. So as long as the kitchen is cleaner than the bathroom, you're good.

AMAZING!!! A delivery review so I don't know about parking or bathrooms. I got the street corn- I grew up with this dish in El Salvador but am used to having mole and some mustard, added to it, and wish I asked for hot sauce to add to it. But it was delicious! As always! This is one of my all time favorite foods. In school, this is the lunch meal my sisters and I would bring money to buy. So I'm always excited to see it on menus! I had chicken taco plate- amazing!! I wish i got extra sauce though! More hot sauce the better so just request it. I requested extra cilantro on my Uber eats order but didn't get it, and no limes. But otherwise very good. Good tortillas I didn't need two for. Tortillas one help up perfectly. Lastly I got plantains. Another salvadorian staple-but I saved them for breakfast and they were delicious as always! A great restaurant just wish they had given me extra cilantro and lime with the tacos.

Stopped here in a rainy night in the fall for some comfort food. Great spot, super friendly and amazing food. We had the empanadas Colombian and Venezuelan. Sancocho soup an rice and beans. Yum! Stop by, it's worth it.

Not going to lie, this review is probably a bit premature. I only ordered empanadas- they were good, but nothing special. The inside was clean. The service was okay. I would go back to try something else but I wasn't wow'd after 1 visit for a snack. I will update the review if I ever go back :)

    Calling the restaurant no answer

The food is amazing don't get me wrong! But the service is horrible! When you call to place an order the phone is constantly busy! You can't get through to anybody in there. I go here regularly and every single time it's a hassle to place a phone order and if you do it in person you're sitting there forever! They have to do better or just don't take to go orders at this point.

Very delicious food! The order we got was great. I am Colombian so I was proud of this food! The churrasco lover is my favorite it comes with arepa, salad with salsa, melted cheese and steak at the bottom. The juices are yummy as well! We got Lulo, passion fruit and mora! It's a great big space and a good amount of people came in! We got there at 8! Recommend!! ALSO THE SALCHIPAPAS ARE THE BOM! We ALWAYS order when we get Uber eats so we switched it up tonight. One of Riverheads good Latin spot!

I recently tried their variety of empanadas... I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite was the Venezuelan beef. Just one of them was filling and the beef was a shredded steak, similar to ropa vieja.

This place was soooo good! Popped in during my lunch break and had the churrasco with tostones and a side of passion fruit juice. Literally just what I needed and the staff was also very friendly.

This is definitely the place to go. They have many bake goods items, smoothies and even have food. The staff Jose Enrique was very friendly and delivered outstanding service. The owner was behind the counter and was extremely caring and explained the dishes. She definitely has an excellent establishment and the food was delicious. Had the patacón it was amazing the sauce was perfect the meat was juicy, the arepa stuffed with roasted pork was an excellent mix of salty and juicy was amazing! Mexican tostada was also amazing the wrap was crispy and the meat was tender. The smoothies Jose Enrique recommended the Sunshine smooth it really brought the sun I have to say fruits were fresh and the drink overall was excellent. If you find your self near by please stop in it won't disappoint.

Arepa con Churrasco and Jugo de Mora (which was in a slushie form) Both delicious!

Went for Mother's Day and we had to get the high tower which was good, I think it was priced high for what it was. Shrimp sandwich was my favorite. Why I'm not rating it higher: I made the reservation 2 weeks before Mother's Day, the only thing available was a 10:45am so I took it. They called me two days before to confirm and said they had a 1:30 available, I started asking questions about the food more being suited toward lunch or breakfast, a bit snippy they put me on hold, I txt my wife quick and she said take the 1:30, the woman gets back on the phone and says sorry someone on the other line just took the 1:30... I said.... What! I was offered it and didn't give you an answer yet. She didn't care and was very dismissive. Won't be returning,

Service was outstanding. I sat with family and enjoyed a simple tea and toast today. My sister-in-law order the Matcha with blueberry, she let me grab a sip and it was very refreshing, perfectly balanced blueberry, it was sweet but not too sweet paired with the Matcha tea. Not only delicious but very pleasing to the eye it's beautifully displayed in their clear cup. This place feels upscale, trendy. The food options are plentiful. Can't wait to return. I thought it would be dead, but to my surprise it was still pretty busy! Its a small little place, but still a few options to sit down and eat or just sip your java. Bonus points for excellent music choice, very indie singer/songwriter style that made for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Starting with the reason you're probably going here, the coffee. I got a peanut butter latte, and my girlfriend got one of their winter seasonal choices in the ginger bread latte. both served hot. The PB was very smooth and lightly sweet, but the ginger bread one in my opinion takes home the trophy this time. As for lunch we did their sandwich/wrap and a salad combo, which as far as I am concerned is the best deal I've ever seen, Panera eat your heart out. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side caesar salad, and my girlfriend got the fig & brie sandwich, with a side peach and avocado salad. The buffalo wrap was nice and light with grilled chicken and a buffalo sauce that seemed almost more like a vinaigrette and the caesar was about as classic as it gets. The fig and brie was an unexpected plus for me and eats almost like a caprese sandwich, while the peach and avocado salad was super fresh, fruit in salad doesn't quite do it for me personally, so we split the trophy for our lunches. My only "major" downside is that the food is served on wooden paddles, I personally like a plate, but that is more of me just being a nit-picker more than anything else. Parking is pretty ample with spots both in the front and the back of the attached lot, but be careful when you're pulling up the first time, you're bound to miss it, I know I almost did!
