    Empanada & Side Lunch Special
    Amanda R.

The food at GoodFood is not good, it's great! It is a really great little "healthy food option" cafe with a small, solid menu of things as well as some fun empanada combos and a counter of quick homemade salads, sides, and more. It is a great breakfast or lunch option to take to go or to eat there (there are a few small tables inside and outside). My personal favorite is the power bowl (add the salmon)! The ingredients are all fresh - sometimes it can take a little bit for the food to come out so if you are ordering to go I would suggest using their easy online ordering tool on their website. It is worth the wait though since everything is fresh and refreshing.

Overall I continue to really enjoy Goodfood. After having been super keen on the empanadas for a while, I bought a frozen package for the first time. It contained a printed ingredient list, and I was kind of taken aback to find that there were elements- I believe it was the dough, specifically- that are imported and as a result seem to contain preservatives. I had- perhaps naively- assumed the empanadas were made entirely from scratch on site. So on my most recent visit I instead went with the milanesa sandwich. It was everything I hoped for and brought back memories of a trip I took to South America years ago.

Cute quaint cafe-like place with tasty menu options. We popped in a few weeks ago and sat outside. We had a few breakfast sandwiches, empanadas and coffee. Varied menu assortment with healthy options. The empanadas were amazing! The coffee was perfect and the seatings inside and outside were a nice touch. Perfect for a quick bite to eat. You can either sit in with a friend or just grab and go. a block front the metro and right in the center of town around other eateries. They also offer high chairs-just ask!

Great little cafe lunch spot with different options such as sandwiches, soups and empanadas. They even have sides in a showcase that you can get by the pound. It was a varied menu with cuisines from different regions. Can't really pinpoint whether to say the restaurant serves Greek? Spanish? American? But, it does serve Good. Food. ! Everything tasted very fresh and homemade, even the sides and soup. It's a nice little spot to sit or for takeout. You know you're getting quality.

Stopped here for a coffee and left with a bunch of empanadas! Not many options for coffee, just drip ad you add your own milk, along with a home made cold brew. The food all looks very fresh but the prices were absolutely insane. The empanadas were only okay. The staff was nice and the ambiance is great. I wouldn't come here again but i'm not mad that i stopped in.

Really solid stuff. We got a bison empanada, avocado toast, whole wheat wrap, and a triple berry protein smoothie. I was most excited about the empanada, but it was really the avocado toast that I'll remember and be excited about next time -- it was great, especially after adding some hot sauce. Very good all around.

Decided to come here because the menu looked delicious. This place did not disappoint! I was a bit disappointed because they had cauliflower tacos on their menu but didn't actually have them :(. But the veggie tacos were delicious! We also got an order of the steak sandwich, corn bread and bread pudding. Everything was delicious! Would 100% come back again. The food tastes fresh and lots of veggie options available!

It is as they advertise, goodfood. There are plenty of healthy & unique food options at this eatery. I've tried the breakfast wrap, empanadas & veggie sandwich all of which were healthy & delicious tasting. Little pricey but I guess making high quality food has a high cost ratio. Try it out if you're near Love lane.

It's more of a sweet treat than an everyday coffee, but they had many other options for everyday coffee. Along with my coffee, I ordered a corn muffin and a chocolate muffin. I really do take far too many photos, but it's helpful because then I remember there are spots I may have forgotten to write up like Macchiato Espresso Bar. I visited this cute Mattituck location back in late August and the results were pretty tasty. You see my wife and I were looking for some coffee and a place that's different than what we've often found on the North Fork and so MEB popped up as an option. Not a ton of reviews were posted, but from the ones on Yelp (and dare I say Google too) made it seem worthy of stopping. The worthiness is definitely there because Macchiato has a nice array of coffee options as well as pastries and more elaborate edibles (sandwiches, salads, etc.). You can find everything on their menus though you won't find too much else inside as the place is definitely small. A couple of tables, some fridge drinks and pre-maid foods, and an area of swag and other items is the entirety of the interior so don't expect any true cozy feels. But hey, you can't drink cozy (well maybe in the Fall/Winter), and so let's turn our attention back to the name of this place and focus on coffee. I went with an iced latte with vanilla while my wife tried the iced chocolate (as it was written on the menu). For me, I liked mine. Nothing negative to necessarily say about it as it had a good coffee kick, but when my wife felt like hers was a little too heavy in the bitter bang before the chocolate took over, I decided for us to switch drinks as I thought the iced chocolate was delightful (I do like my coffee a little stronger). Before finishing up, I do want to mention that we were a bit hungry and so one of the chocolate croissants in the display case made its way into our possession. The funny interaction my wife had with the friendly staff member ("Is that a chocolate croissant?" "You know it is!") added to our excitement and oh did it pay off as it tasted delicious. Overall, Macchiato Espresso Bar had a lot to like. Perhaps they're a little small, but they pack some good coffee and pastry/food choices in an area that really doesn't have a ton of options. I'd definitely return another time when out east and in search of my morning cup of joe along with a desire for a bite to eat. And with that I can now post some very belated pics with this review so the CMs stay off my back!

The restaurant we originally picked had a 20 minute wait... and with two hangry toddlers, we crossed the street and saw a restaurant sign on top of a neat looking bar. It is actually next to a bar as well, so we eyeing sure it was for the kids. I stood outside and the clock struck 2pm, and a nice gentleman opened the velvet rope for us and said "come in, we were open." Not knowing if this was for the kids or not, we walked in and saw one of the most interesting interiors I have seen in awhile. It was fun and different. The manager made it fun as well as he has a great attitude and happy to help in terms of recommendations. The menu itself is big and you will need some help. The first thing was needing to get food to two little hangry ones, so we asked for noodles, which he got on immediately, getting in a pancit order. That came out first and my wife and I took a few extended moments as the menu is extensive. I ordered the chicken and waffle with bang bang shrimp and my wife had the steak with rice and onions. Both dishes were flavorful and definitely enjoyable. I could definitely go back in again if I ever head back or East, but maybe taking the Long Island railroad would be better since it is across the street from the train station. Definitely stop in for a drink and enjoy the cool little toys and designs around the restaurant. This restaurant definitely provides variety of you want to try something new!

Everything was wonderful and tasted great. The new place definitely has growing pains, sometimes apps came out with the entrees, silverware and plates came after the courses, took a while for our bill to come, but these are little things that will be taken care of once they have a proper waitstaff. We're definitely going to be back.

Upon entering there were no other customers in the store. The store was neat and clean. A blonde woman standing at the back counter looked up from her phone at us and then went back to her phone. As another couple walked in someone else came out from the back and greeted the new couple. We worked our way back to the woman at the back counter and inquired about a cheese board. She told us we could order one and the amount of time it would take to have one made. We asked if they did cheese boards to sit and have to eat now, and I quote, "No we are not a cafe, we don't serve food in store like that". As we continued around the shop many more couples entered the store. We worked our way back around to the cheese counter to place our order. Once it was our turn the blonde woman, who originally snubbed us as we walked in, asked what we needed. As we started to order she asked us to hold on and called another girl from the back to continue helping us. The other girl was very friendly, and informational and even made some recommendations. We purchased a number of cheeses and other accoutrements. As we were checking out, a couple walked in and asked if they did fondue. The blonde woman was friendly and set them up at a table in the back to have fondue for 2. We proceeded to take our items and leave. If you like Brie you need to try the Truffle Brie!
