I was on my way to WI from Indianapolis when my husband called to tell me I left my overnight bag at home. By that point, I was almost to Chicago (over 3 hours from home) and I had to be somewhere at a certain time for a paid weekend opportunity taking photos of murals in their town. My vision is terrible. And my contacts are supposed to be changed daily. I didn't even have my glasses. I left on a Friday and wouldn't be back until Sunday and usually after more than a day or wear, the contacts start to break down. I absolutely cannot see without them or my glasses and I was traveling alone. I happened by this spot while getting gas and popped in to see if by some chance they might have samples in my prescription and they did!!! They seriously saved me so much anxiety over the weekend and now I have several pairs to get me through if I need them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I caution you to not come here to buy any of their products. Whether it's frame or lenses. Your…read moreinsurance coverage does not matter. Their prices are so high that even if you have insurance coverage you'd still pay as if you don't have insurance. And if you don't have insurance, forget about it. I will give you a specific example. Their frame with Prada brand model PR A 13V is priced at over 600 usd, while online with exact same model and brand it's only 200 usd +. Same with their lens. The cost outside with insurance is same cost with them with insurance. If you ever decide to buy from them look it up first online like from glassesusa.com or other online sites. Hope this saves you some money

Had my Lasik procedure back in July 2015. So far so good, I'm seeing 20/15 which is better than…read more20/20. Still have minor dry eyes and a bit of a halo but overall it's not bad and if I use my drops I'm good. I would give it 5 stars but the wait is ridiculous. I waited 2 hrs for surgery and every follow up visit when I have to see the Dr is pretty bad, which I don't really understand since you only see him for a minute or two. I did give it 4 stars because the staff is good and the results were amazing. Another con is they reschedule almost all the time because the Dr is out of town, now I don't think it's the staff's fault since they can't dictate if he will return back on time but that does cause a bit of an inconvenience.

We finally got an appointment and when we showed up with our elderly parent who we picked up from the nursing home to go there - there was a sign on the door - systems down and door locked. We had waited for this appointment for two weeks after struggling to get them to answer the phone for two weeks prior to that. 5 business days later they still didn't call us to apologize and reschedule! I called and they told me well nothing we could do the system was down - I said yes but by now you should have called to reschedule. Next available appointment is 3 weeks from now - dad may be blind by then! Need a new office staff or a business manager or something! I don't care how good the doctor may or may not be - this is not how you run a business or treat people.

Standard eye exams, and testing along with a corrective eyewear room to shop from and try on/select products. We recently brought our son for his school exam and the doctor was great about explaining what was happening and going slowly through the process. He ended up needing glasses and there was a great selection of kids frames available for him to try on and select from. My one negative is that there is one woman in the eyewear room that almost seems bothered to be there and to be helping. But if you can avoid her, you'll likely have a great experience.

Despite being very busy, the front desk staff are incredibly kind and efficient. I showed up early for my appointment time and was taken back almost immediately to take pictures of my eyes and all of the other quick procedures I don't know the names of. The new doctor they have on staff is so sweet and welcoming. She answered all of my questions and laughed with me when I thought I nailed the vision test (I did not nail the test, lol). Not once did I feel rushed or like I was wasting time. I'm so sad to be moving in the next year because I will greatly miss this place! I've read some of the other reviews, and they don't match my experience at all. It may be because of my age, but I know what it's like to work in the service industry; having someone stomp around your office demanding free services or waiving fees always ends with a threat of a nasty review on yelp, lol. Please be kind to the people who often deal with poorly behaved-adults. Anywho, I really enjoy this place and the staff that work there!
