There are two playgrounds--one for smaller kids and one for kids 3 and up--with soft ground so if they fall, no scraped knees. It's very kid-friendly and well-designed. They also have pickleball courts and a skate park. The skate park is always full of happy, laughing kids--never seen any issues. Pickleball can get busy, so if you want to play, try going early or in the late afternoon. I've heard the regulars are friendly, so just let them know you want to join and it shouldn't be a problem. There are shaded tables, BBQ areas, and plenty of space to relax while the kids play. People there are always friendly, and we've had nothing but good experiences so far. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors!

Might actually be the worst skatepark experience I've ever had. Everyone says this is the worst…read moreskatepark in the bay area but I was always skeptical because it looked nice from Bart. With that being said city officials should hold their head in shame. Parking is almost non existent , the skatepark itself is made of a really rough cement that hurts to fall on and whoever designed this park has almost surely never skated in their life. Obstacles with no run up to speak of that even if you could land something on would almost certainly lead to an injury. This park is borderline a safety hazard. Skaters will always make do so I'm sure there's a couple locals that love their park but concord deserves better. Luckily I was in the area and didn't waste my time making a trip out here.
