I went to Huntington University in this area and this was always a fun spot to hit up with a group of friends or to get off campus. It's downtown Huntington. It's a mix between soda shop and antique shop. Its not huge, when you first walk in you get to see all the antiques they have. Then when you walk further back they have the soda bar set up. They have a ton of options. It's overwhelming even! They all come in glass bottles which make the experience more authentic, I think. It's a married couple who run it. They seem to do a lot in the community and with the university to bring people in. It's a fun a little spot to try if you're in the area! I was a resident assistant at HU and for our photos they let us use their shop as a place to take photos. They even let us get behind the bar. Another time, a group of us had a stand for freedom event to raise awareness about human trafficking in the United States, and they let us stand outside their business and hold signs and talk with passerby's. Abso-friggin-lutely loved this place. The owners are sweet as can be and their menu of sodas is almost impressive as their knowledge of their products. Sure, all vendors should know their products, but these are all sodas, and many of the same type (like root beer, or cream soda), and they were able to quickly reel off what differentiated this brand of root beer from that, and how this sarsaparilla flavor was different than that root beer and on and on. Really impressive. Also impressive: the variety and geographic distances some of these bottles have traveled. All over the U.S.A. and as far as Australia! Since you may not be able to imbibe multiple sweet drinks in one sitting, they are more than happy to have you pick out a few to go. On site, tried Dang! That's Good Butterscotch Root Beer (it's a must!) and Blue Berry soda by Maine Root, from Portland, Maine. It was like drinking fizzy blueberry syrup. Man, that would have been good to drink with some pancakes. Looking forward to trying the others brought home for later. Stay tuned, looks like this Indiana biz may be the first Hoosier-run operation to start bottling craft sodas. Can't wait! Oh, and as a lover of old buildings and old stuff- must say, the space is beautiful (once housed an upscale men's clothing establishment) and they have a few fun vintage treasures. What a great local businsss locates downtown Huntington. If you have not been you need to stop by and peruse the small shop. Parking is on the street so wherever you find one pull in and walk to this store. The owner is super friendly and so knowledgeable of the items she carries from her antiques to her old time Soda bottles hat are lined up in the wall. Store is cleaned and well maintained. Greeted upon entry and you'll notice the many different antiques she carries. Most items I have never seen in a typical antique store. Very unique with very unique and slightly steep prices. Next you'll spot the counter to sit and enjoy one of many things. First they make and sell on tap their own root beer. Wow!! Is it ever so good. I had a tase before ordering a bottle and the sweet frothy liquid touches your lips and smoothly with a slight fizz fills your mouth into your belly and leaves your taste buds happy. And you want more. Quickly you notice you drank the entire bottle. It's that delish. Then you notice all the bottles of soda on the wall. From today's age to throw back to your childhood. She offers a menu to look at all of them. They even have a huge list of diet sodas. I ordered a cream soda that was to die for. Pretty decent price at $2 a bottle made me feel like a kid again putting in my money to buy a bottle of Pepsi in the 70's. The bottles of soda you're more than welcome to drink there or take some home with you. We did both. With so many to choose from it's easy to spend a fortune in here. Located in a small section was throwback candy but the choices were slim as she said they had not received their candy order in awhile. Disappointed was I! They serve root beer floats and ice cream with little canisters filled with homemade toppings Like crushed Oreo sprinkles crushed candy bars etc. but we didn't order any. I imagine it's just as good. Highly recommend this place. It's clean friendly service and the owner is so knowledgeable that you walk away a little more educated about soda facts and history of it al. This place is- simply put- a total gem. Adam and Rebecca are truly pioneers in the campaign for a better Huntington, and their shop has become one of my favorite places to be. I could go on for ages about this place, but I'll attempt to keep it fairly simple. Antiqology is the result of the vision of two passionate treasure hunters that wanted to open a shop for the selling of wares- and- YES, more old fashioned sodas and ice cream float possibilities than any 10 year old (or in my case, 27 year old) could imagine in their wildest sugar-coated dreams. There are literally hundreds of sodas for sale, including some truly obscure beauties that I've only seen in other states. Thank goodness Adam and Rebecca are born travelers. It's simple- no matter where you are currently, make it a point to drive to Huntington to visit this place. You're likely to leave with a case of unique sodas, a nifty new piece of history and excellent conversation with the proprietors. I walked in not knowing exactly what to expect but was looking for something cold to drink on a hot day while waiting for my son to perform for the Music in the City. Fell in love with the place! The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The service was quick and the prices were very reasonable. It was a walk down memory lane as I saw things that reminded me of my Grandma and Grandpa's house from an old suitcase with wooden typesetting letters displayed in it to the Purex bowls stacked and ready to be used. In the back of the store they have a wonderful old-fashioned style soda counter but with a large stock of different sodas in glass bottles! I said I was looking for a root beer and she asked if I wanted a bitter or creamy taste. She selected an Olde Brooklyn for me and it tastes perfect! It took a little longer for my son to pick out what he wanted but we didn't feel rushed. If it had been a cooler day I would have definitely tried a chocolate milkshake. This place is a gem. Many soda options. Some sold out but others make up for it. Ice cream is excellent as well. Moderately/appropriately priced. Definitely visit Antiqology if you're in the Huntington area. I go to the college in the town and make it a point to go every week to try a new soda and see what new treasures are in stock. They're always bringing in new items and flavors of soda or ice cream (which is some of the best I've ever had). Another thing I love is that Antiqology teams up with local restaurants to create specialty flavors that they switch out on occasion. They're delicious and really help to pull the town of Huntington together for me. All in all, Antiqology is definitely worth a visit. Scratch that - MANY visits. read more

Oh man, what a cool little place! The store is beautiful, with plenty of exposed brick adding to the small town downtown charm. There's a wide variety of antiques in the front of the shop to keep you busy (more like your wife busy, in my case). The coolest part though is the wall of soda bottles from all over. They've got a great variety and the staff seems to know something about each and every one of them. I also love that they do floats with any soda you want. Granted, I'm not one to go for a ginger-pomegranate float or whatever, but it's nice to have the option. Because of all that, I can't help but love this place and I'm sure you will too. read more

The ambience and atmosphere are amazing. Reasonable prices, and delicious desserts! This location is my boyfriend and I's favorite spot to treat ourselves. They even have obscure favorites, such as Ski (which is a soda made in Breese, IL.) The items they offer for sale are nice! My only suggestion for improvement is the 'antiques.' They offer little to nothing in terms of variety and volume for antiques. In every other aspect, this place is fantastic! The family who runs the place are amazingly gracious as well. A step back in time! Antiqology was one of the cutest places I have ever been to. When you walk in, the space is very polished and inviting. There are various antiques around the room available for purchase. However, the big draw for me was their soda bar. There are almost 200 different sodas available for purchase, including seasonal flavors, which are displayed on a wall complete with prices. Very organized. It was difficult to decide because there were so many unique options. We opted for their draft 1919 root beer. It was the best root beer I have ever had! The gentleman working there (who may have been the owner) shared that they have the root beer made for them in Minnesota and it is shipped overnight to guarantee freshness. He was like a sommelier of soda in that he knew everything there was to know. He shared a vast knowledge with us about their products, the history, the process of making it, etc. It was insane how much he knew! They also have ice cream available for purchase in a variety of flavors. I bet a root beer float would be amazing here! I was impressed that they have 3 varieties of birch beer available, which can often be hard to find. I got a rose lemonade to-go and look forward to trying it. Their website is great and they have a calendar of fun events, such as an upcoming creme soda tasting! This is an amazing local business and I look forward to pulling up a seat at the bar and cracking open a nice cold root beer whenever I am in the area. read more
