Old Comfort Standard antique "mall" that features items from multiple vendors and dealors located throughout the store and is located in DT Napa. Staff seemed indifferent, selection was fairly large and interesting albeit nothing special, and the prices were definitely on the higher side of what I've experienced at other antique malls; I'm sure the area doesn't help in that regard. It's still definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and love nostalgia, but just don't expect to be blown away by the selection.

We were in the area and decided to stop by. This place was very nice. It was a big store and well organized. They had some pretty nice items. The prices were reasonable. I found a few things. I will definitely be returning they had some really cute items highly recommended.

Selection wise this antique store is great. There is a lot of everything here. Take for instance toys and also clothing as well. We found a bunch of old style Pyrex. There is a bunch of little cubbyhole places to find stuff and there is a bit of everything from housewares to kitchen wares to close and everything. Make sure you check it out

Thrift store with department store prices... PASS!!!! The two women that were working didn't bother to greet anyone unless they obviously knew you. Very poorly laid out. Came for records because they were advertised "buy two get one free". When a Disney record that isn't even worth $10 and some others that were worn but because I guess it's Napa and they believe everything sold is dipped in gold. I found one lapel pin that I liked but was not even going to bother seeing the cost because I know it would've been more than the 1-2 I was willing to pay for it.

Nice place. Neat stuff. Friendly people. So much so, it makes even a non-shopper want to wander around a while longer.

A MUST visit for us every time we go walking downtown Napa, which is often! Wonderful pieces. Makes me wish I was rich every time I go in.

A selection of China that ranges from vintage/high-quality to more ordinary items with high kitchen value. I've certainly purchased my share of mixing bowls and measuring cups. The clothing is a little bit more hit and miss. I tend to show up when the entire store is 50% off and by the time you do that the store has been picked over. So my impression of the clothing area is worn with very unexciting brands. The book section isn't too bad. I'm a big fan of cookbooks and gardening books. There was actually a quite decent selection of both. But let's face it my home library of both has a better than decent selection. I always succumb to the fabrics. I can't resist something beautiful no matter how tiny the swatch. The stationary section is usually quite useful. I'm always running out of a little bit of this and that and this particular section always has a little bit of this and that. Usually, I run into at least one appliance where I think I might need it, but not right now, but the price is so compelling that I'm tempted to buy it just as a backup. However, space considerations put a quick stop to this type of thinking. The truth is, I always find a lot of stuff that is very compelling, but I'm unable to buy it because I have no place to store it. On the other hand, I've discovered that Napa has so many outstanding thrift stores that community projects thrift is slowly fading into the background. I'm a bit sorry about this because clearly I have a soft spot for this thrift. But realistically, it's a very well, run thrift, that fits a specific niche. It will take care of a good part of anyone's Thrifting strategy. But there are thrifts that are so outstanding, that community projects clearly cannot compete. If you want a thrift that is also well rounded, but with more selection ( not necessarily better.) consider Eco thrift in Vallejo. If you want a very large thrift that specializes in furniture, dining room, supplies for renovation, home building. You need to go to Habitat for humanity ReStore. It literally has no competition. If you want extremely high-end, unique, designer clothing, and absolutely superb home accessories you must go to American Cancer discovery shop in Napa. Yes it's kind of pricey for a thrift. On the other hand, the odds that you'll find items of this quality in any other thrift are low to none. Goodwill in Napa was an eye-opening experience for me. My previous experience with Goodwill was, lack of any quality products, surprisingly high prices for well, I thought of it as crap. This particular Goodwill is extremely well stocked with clothing, primarily for men and women. The quality of the clothing beats the eco thrift, Sutter, Solano, and community projects thrift. It sure beats hunting for that one item that is of acceptable quality, style, and fit, and reasonable price. There isn't enough space for the other items that you expected a thrift. Small selection of books, almost 0 selection of furniture, tiny selection of electronics, even the knickknacks were puny. I was surprised by the amount of luggage. Some of the pieces were actually kind of desirable except I have all the luggage I need. All in all I would not bother with this thrift except to hunt for some nice clothes. I love the Echo Shop in Saratoga. The major reason why I hardly ever buy clothing at any other thrift is because of the Echo Shop. My wardrobe is completely stuffed with clothing that I adore. Just fair warning, first I became a customer, then I became a donor, then I volunteered, and then they elected me to the board. So obviously, I am deeply invested in this store. And for those of you who are either on a super tight budget or just love, amazing bargains, go to the Sutter Solano thrift in Vallejo. It's pretty small so the selection is limited, but the prices are the lowest I have ever seen. Their regular prices are lower than the biggest discount I have ever encountered at any other thrift.

My wife found two flannel shirts that are of great quality and will be warm during our chilly weather. Pricing was fair, my guess is 50% off of retail. It's a not a big shop like a Goodwill or Salvation, but it's larger the a boutique Thrift Shop. 1st room is mostly clothing, second room is books, dvds, CDs , houseware and electronics. (Very limited electronics). I did find a nice Cheese Knife Set for my Charcuterie collection Staff was super friendly. % Recommend

They always have a great variety of shoes, dresses, shirts, purses, and accessories in all sizes. You can tell people love consigning here because there's always something new and interesting on the racks. It sounds like if you're a local, you can get a card that keeps track of your store credit from consigning, which seems like such a fun and smart system. The store itself isn't overly crowded, which makes browsing really enjoyable and relaxing. The only small suggestion I'd have is to maybe reorganize the jewelry section near the front--sometimes it gets a little jammed with people coming in and out, so it'd be nice if there was a bit more flow there. Other than that, this place is a solid 10/10! Always a fun stop when I'm in the neighborhood.

Considering the length of the building, I actually expected shop to be much larger inside than it is. This place is smaller than your average convenience store. More than half of the store is given over to women's clothing with just one small corner given over to men's. There's also some books, furniture, glassware, knickknacks, and shoes. You find the newest clothing arrivals outside the front door along with the clearance items. They do have a discount system that works here along with a 50% off section inside. It seemed like a lot of the clothing was a little pricey, but once you start deducting some of the sale pricing, it starts to make more sense. 10 Informative photos included.
