Antler pub is located upstairs in the hotel with plenty of taxidermy wildlife and bric a brac.Tables by the window give a nice view of the mountains. The pub bartender was friendly and helped school us on montana brews. My hubby had IPA and I enjoyed the amber. We caught Happy hour which had unique food items. I had the wonton Tacos which were delicious. Unusual surprise. My hubby had the elk meatloaf which he enjoyed. Like many restaurants in Gardiner prices are hefty, I was glad we had Happy hour at least. Friendly staff made sure drinks were full, we appreciated that. We will stop in next time we are in Gardiner! Have a great season.

Everything was great. So many game mount on the wall and you can see animals walking around on the street. So they don't serve bison burger or elk burger on the menu. But they do have bison cheesesteak or elk sausage. Kinda weird that they don't service game meat burger because seems like every restaurant around the area do. Small dining area so come early otherwise it will fill up quick. Smash burger is good. Not too greasy, seasoned well and fresh.

This was a very fun pub! We came here after a long day of hiking in Yellowstone and it was such a cozy place. It was very busy (always a good sign), so we grabbed a drink and relaxed in the chairs outside of the pub on the 2nd floor, which was a very nice area to wait. Our service was very good throughout our meal and the staff were very, very kind. My wife had a cheeseburger and I tried the meatloaf sandwich, both of which were very good! It was our favorite restaurant in Gardiner and we really enjoyed coming here!

Food was great! Decent price for what you get, especially in a small city. We ordered to go and the bartender was incredibly kind to us and helpful with ordering. It's in a hotel which is a little weird but no one seemed to mind that we were in there for food and not staying there. Only negatives I'd say are you have to go in the restaurant to order take out and they have a 3% charge if you use a card but I wouldn't let these things change your mind from going there! The food was really good.

This was my favorite find in Gardiner. We tried a few. We had such bad luck with the others, we were skeptical about ordering a burger again. We chose BLT's and watched several great looking burgers coming out. The BLT's were excellent and so was the local pilsner! Service was excellent, but that's been true everywhere. The outstanding mark here was the food! Go ahead and try the burger, they looked great!

Everything was amazing! The service was very friendly. We got there right when they opened, which is when we arrived in town. We walked the half mile from our motel, nice little town too. The food! Chicken tender app was very good, not the garbage we've had the rest of the 7 days we've been in Montana. The burger was delicious. Smashed, seasoned well, and not too big. My wife had the bison cheese steak and really enjoyed it! I'd also recommend the flight of beer, quite a few good local liquors. Well worth at least 1 night of your time!

I saw it was rated 3.5 & am very surprised. We had a really good sandwich & curly fries. I had the hot spicy chicken & was not disappointed. Curly fries equally to my favorites. Staff was amazing - they refilled drinks & checked on us frequently even though they were busy. It's a small restaurant but clean. Only issue was finding it- had to go in hotel entrance & up the steps by the door. (Entrance not well marked) but for a hot quick sandwich meal it was worth the effort to find

The bar/restaurant is upstairs from the hotel lobby. Our original server apparently wasn't supposed to be our server and was replaced by another server which resulted in never having our drinks refilled and waiting forever to pay the bill. The bison cheesesteak was covered with soggy mushrooms but the roll was great. The chicken sandwich was terrific. The huckleberry salad dressing was unique. Half of the sweet potato fries were scorched. Oh, and the atmosphere is taxidermy heaven. They are only open 4 hours a night but there was no lack of customers because the hotel was sold out. They also only have about 10 to 12 tables and don't take reservations. If it all sounds like a comedy of errors, you pretty much have the picture. Two sandwiches with a side and one never refilled soda was $50 including tip.

Burgers were fantastic. Slow at times and haphazard staff, but they were all friendly. We walked in and, wrongfully, judged a book by it's cover, but the burgers more than delivered.

It was a late launch and this place was deserted, hardly couple of table were occupied. Menu is typical pub options. There's a Bison Cheeseburger on the menu - it's a half pound bison patty on that burger served with fries on the side. Also ordered garden salad with grilled chicken and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Service was great, the staffs were very friendly. They served the food very quickly as well. The bison cheeseburger was really impressive. The sandwich and the salad were good too. It's a $$ place. Super casual counter service, with usual pub faves as well as some local flavors. We went with the: - hog wings - small but meaty, fried halfway to chicharrones with a Korean sweet sauce on the side, kinda salty even plain on its own - bison cheeseburger - solid burger, excellent and generous fries - brisket sandwich - generous portion of meat, kinda dry so I asked for more huckleberry bbq sauce on the side otherwise not very flavorful. Cole slaw was meh but I don't like Cole slaw (they wouldn't swap for anything else). Again excellent fries! Chased all this meaty salty heavy food with a local brew. Think $75 before tax/tip was pretty normal tourist prices - we were stuffed and didn't finish all the fries and buns.

I saw hand cut fries on the menu and ordered those as a side. They brought an order to our table, but it was actually for another table, and I spied that the fries were prepared horribly. That dark brown color that comes from not knowing how to remove the excess starch, having the wrong fry oil temperature, etc., etc.. These were really really bad looking, brown fries. And so I quickly said "oh let me cancel my order of fries" ( because I knew I wouldn't be eating these) and they said "oh your fries are already in the fryer. We cannot cancel them"; so I said "OK. Fine bring them". And then I didn't touch them, but I just planned to pay for them. I'm going to show you photos from my home of the way I make fries. You see, I lived in Holland for several years and they take their potatoes very seriously over there and I became addicted to fries that were golden in color and not burned. So they sat uneaten. But when our real waitress came around to ask how everything was, I told her that the fries were burned and she kindly removed them and did not charge for them. So five stars for service. The chili was good. Profound cumin flavor. Several types of beans. But. If you don't like cumin, this is not for you. It's essentially a cumin stew.
