Double smashed burger with bacon and avocado. (Fried egg on side). It was good!

Service was good! Food came out fast! For this tiny town, this is a great option. The smash burgers were delish!

Everything was great. So many game mount on the wall and you can see animals walking around on the street. So they don't serve bison burger or elk burger on the menu. But they do have bison cheesesteak or elk sausage. Kinda weird that they don't service game meat burger because seems like every restaurant around the area do. Small dining area so come early otherwise it will fill up quick. Smash burger is good. Not too greasy, seasoned well and fresh.

Antler pub is located upstairs in the hotel with plenty of taxidermy wildlife and bric a brac.Tables by the window give a nice view of the mountains. The pub bartender was friendly and helped school us on montana brews. My hubby had IPA and I enjoyed the amber. We caught Happy hour which had unique food items. I had the wonton Tacos which were delicious. Unusual surprise. My hubby had the elk meatloaf which he enjoyed. Like many restaurants in Gardiner prices are hefty, I was glad we had Happy hour at least. Friendly staff made sure drinks were full, we appreciated that. We will stop in next time we are in Gardiner! Have a great season.

This was a very fun pub! We came here after a long day of hiking in Yellowstone and it was such a cozy place. It was very busy (always a good sign), so we grabbed a drink and relaxed in the chairs outside of the pub on the 2nd floor, which was a very nice area to wait. Our service was very good throughout our meal and the staff were very, very kind. My wife had a cheeseburger and I tried the meatloaf sandwich, both of which were very good! It was our favorite restaurant in Gardiner and we really enjoyed coming here!

Food was great! Decent price for what you get, especially in a small city. We ordered to go and the bartender was incredibly kind to us and helpful with ordering. It's in a hotel which is a little weird but no one seemed to mind that we were in there for food and not staying there. Only negatives I'd say are you have to go in the restaurant to order take out and they have a 3% charge if you use a card but I wouldn't let these things change your mind from going there! The food was really good.

This was my favorite find in Gardiner. We tried a few. We had such bad luck with the others, we were skeptical about ordering a burger again. We chose BLT's and watched several great looking burgers coming out. The BLT's were excellent and so was the local pilsner! Service was excellent, but that's been true everywhere. The outstanding mark here was the food! Go ahead and try the burger, they looked great!

Everything was amazing! The service was very friendly. We got there right when they opened, which is when we arrived in town. We walked the half mile from our motel, nice little town too. The food! Chicken tender app was very good, not the garbage we've had the rest of the 7 days we've been in Montana. The burger was delicious. Smashed, seasoned well, and not too big. My wife had the bison cheese steak and really enjoyed it! I'd also recommend the flight of beer, quite a few good local liquors. Well worth at least 1 night of your time!

I saw it was rated 3.5 & am very surprised. We had a really good sandwich & curly fries. I had the hot spicy chicken & was not disappointed. Curly fries equally to my favorites. Staff was amazing - they refilled drinks & checked on us frequently even though they were busy. It's a small restaurant but clean. Only issue was finding it- had to go in hotel entrance & up the steps by the door. (Entrance not well marked) but for a hot quick sandwich meal it was worth the effort to find

The bar/restaurant is upstairs from the hotel lobby. Our original server apparently wasn't supposed to be our server and was replaced by another server which resulted in never having our drinks refilled and waiting forever to pay the bill. The bison cheesesteak was covered with soggy mushrooms but the roll was great. The chicken sandwich was terrific. The huckleberry salad dressing was unique. Half of the sweet potato fries were scorched. Oh, and the atmosphere is taxidermy heaven. They are only open 4 hours a night but there was no lack of customers because the hotel was sold out. They also only have about 10 to 12 tables and don't take reservations. If it all sounds like a comedy of errors, you pretty much have the picture. Two sandwiches with a side and one never refilled soda was $50 including tip.

Piecing together that this is a tourist trap town on the outskirts of YNP, I lowered my expectations to like 5/10. Believe me, this is worse than mid. We were famished driving out of Yellowstone after a long day of sightseeing, as most of this place's victims probably are. I grimly perused the menu, and ordered a burger and fries because surelllyyyyyy... they can make a 5/10 burger?! My standards were so low! The bread on the burgers was soggy and gross, the burger wasn't seared at all, and the fries were burnt. Our friend ordered steak: the steak was bright pink through and through and also not even seared... how do you mess up this badly? Do they have a grill back there?? I've cooked steak way better myself on a skillet for way cheaper. A bowl of onion rings with no dipping sauce. Salads with tomatoes sliced round- not diced. I had never seen that before in my life. Other friend got a pizza. She said it was okay, but looking at it I had my doubts. I'll admit I didn't try it because it looked like day old frozen pizza. Mind you if the total bill had been $75, then whatever we were hungry, it's a tourist trap-- No. The total for the food was $148. For 4 people. No drinks at all, just water. I'm so appalled and embarrassed because there were lots of international visitors here for Yellowstone. Probably more than usual if some stopped here during a US visit for the World Cup. They probably come here and believe this abomination is representative of American food. Shameful. I normally wouldn't bring up something like ambiance, but since this place has the audacity to charge nice restaurant prices for food so disgusting I wouldn't even feed it to a dog, the music sucks too. It was the most cliche 70s American bar playlist ever. I personally enjoy that kind of music, but here it feels like rubbing salt in a wound. Positives: Server was nice, poor guy. The French onion soup was actually nice and up to par, but French onion soup is not enough to redeem a place, especially when this place is your first stop in civilization and you're ready to chow down. Next night we skipped West Yellowstone and opted for the gas station by our Airbnb. The hours-old chicken sandwich behind glass was Michelin star compared to this.

I arrived around 7 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta with a side of bread. The pasta was outstanding -- easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The combination of braised chicken, prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and creamy parmesan-mascarpone sauce came together perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, rich, and satisfying without feeling heavy or dry. As someone preparing for a half marathon the next morning, it was the perfect carb-loading meal. I also ordered the Huckleberry Sundae for dessert. If you're visiting the Yellowstone area, do yourself a favor and try something with huckleberries. The ice cream, topping, and whipped cream were fantastic, and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts from the trip. One unexpected bonus was getting to chat with other travelers at the bar, including another runner who was also working toward completing a half marathon in all 50 states. It added to the friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Overall, Madison Crossing Lounge delivered excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. I don't hand out many five-star reviews, but this one earned it. If I'm back in West Yellowstone for another race or a visit to Yellowstone National Park, I'll absolutely be returning.
