Our family loved the food here! Worth a bit of a wait for a table, burgers and appetizers were great.

Had spent the full day in Yellowstone, and were looking for a great place to eat. We might've been enticed by the moose that was munching on the grass right in front of the restaurant, or the great amount of parking in the back, not sure, but we're glad we stopped. Our seats were at a window overlooking the main road, and it had great views. The air conditioning was very much appreciated on a 90° day, and the food was delicious. Definitely go for the cheese curds, they were a great addition to our meal! It seemed like a place that a lot of locals hang out, but we felt welcome and dinner really hit the spot. Everything was great. So many game mount on the wall and you can see animals walking around on the street. So they don't serve bison burger or elk burger on the menu. But they do have bison cheesesteak or elk sausage. Kinda weird that they don't service game meat burger because seems like every restaurant around the area do. Small dining area so come early otherwise it will fill up quick. Smash burger is good. Not too greasy, seasoned well and fresh. read more

Antler pub is located upstairs in the hotel with plenty of taxidermy wildlife and bric a brac.Tables by the window give a nice view of the mountains. The pub bartender was friendly and helped school us on montana brews. My hubby had IPA and I enjoyed the amber. We caught Happy hour which had unique food items. I had the wonton Tacos which were delicious. Unusual surprise. My hubby had the elk meatloaf which he enjoyed. Like many restaurants in Gardiner prices are hefty, I was glad we had Happy hour at least. Friendly staff made sure drinks were full, we appreciated that. Came with two kids because it was the closest establishment to the Yellowstone RV park. Was not disappointed. The wifey and I plus our kids, Tarantino and Montauk all ordered different things and all of us were very pleased with our meals. Friendly fast service. Might buy some cheesecake was perfect. Huckleberry mules were solid cocktails. I'm glad my wife ordered the cheese curds and shared them with me after I scoffed at the idea and got the fries which were also pretty solid. I happened to think the surfeit of taxidermy was pretty cool, but others might find it excessive. read more

This was a very fun pub! We came here after a long day of hiking in Yellowstone and it was such a cozy place. It was very busy (always a good sign), so we grabbed a drink and relaxed in the chairs outside of the pub on the 2nd floor, which was a very nice area to wait. Our service was very good throughout our meal and the staff were very, very kind. My wife had a cheeseburger and I tried the meatloaf sandwich, both of which were very good! It was our favorite restaurant in Gardiner and we really enjoyed coming here! read more

Food was great! Decent price for what you get, especially in a small city. We ordered to go and the bartender was incredibly kind to us and helpful with ordering. It's in a hotel which is a little weird but no one seemed to mind that we were in there for food and not staying there. Only negatives I'd say are you have to go in the restaurant to order take out and they have a 3% charge if you use a card but I wouldn't let these things change your mind from going there! This was my favorite find in Gardiner. We tried a few. We had such bad luck with the others, we were skeptical about ordering a burger again. We chose BLT's and watched several great looking burgers coming out. The BLT's were excellent and so was the local pilsner! Service was excellent, but that's been true everywhere. Everything was amazing! The service was very friendly. We got there right when they opened, which is when we arrived in town. We walked the half mile from our motel, nice little town too. The food! Chicken tender app was very good, not the garbage we've had the rest of the 7 days we've been in Montana. The burger was delicious. Smashed, seasoned well, and not too big. My wife had the bison cheese steak and really enjoyed it! I'd also recommend the flight of beer, quite a few good local liquors. Well worth at least 1 night of your time! read more

Had the what the clucker which was very spicy but well cooked. Also had the hangover which was good. Atmosphere was very loud and voices carried. Service was not good. Could not get our servers attention for refills (had to go to the bar ourselves) or to get out check (had to ask another server). I saw it was rated 3.5 & am very surprised. We had a really good sandwich & curly fries. I had the hot spicy chicken & was not disappointed. Curly fries equally to my favorites. Staff was amazing - they refilled drinks & checked on us frequently even though they were busy. It's a small restaurant but clean. The bar/restaurant is upstairs from the hotel lobby. Our original server apparently wasn't supposed to be our server and was replaced by another server which resulted in never having our drinks refilled and waiting forever to pay the bill. The bison cheesesteak was covered with soggy mushrooms but the roll was great. The chicken sandwich was terrific. The huckleberry salad dressing was unique. Half of the sweet potato fries were scorched. Oh, and the atmosphere is taxidermy heaven. They are only open 4 hours a night but there was no lack of customers because the hotel was sold out. They also only have about 10 to 12 tables and don't take reservations. If it all sounds like a comedy of errors, you pretty much have the picture. We were trying to find a place to eat in Gardiner, Montana, which appeared to have very few options. At first we didn't take seriously the upstairs restaurant in our own lodge. But then I noticed it had pretty good reviews. So we tried it, were very impressed and ended up eating here two nights in a row. The elk meatloaf sandwich was spectacular, with caramelized onions, delicious, gravy, and savory not gamey meatloaf. My wife hsd the Clucker chicken sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the jalapeño burger, which was very good. And on her second visit she got the bison Philly cheesesteak, which is spectacular. My son had the chicken wings, which were OK. All in all, this was some of the best food we ate on our three week tour across the West. Highly recommend. read more

We visited Yellowstone/Tetons a couple of years ago and happened upon this bar. We had such a great time! The Wisconsin Old Fashioned was not only a fun drink, but also a great conversation starter! As we got to know the really cool and friendly bartender (possibly owner?) who was originally from Wisconsin, we also ate the bison cheesesteak, which was delicious! He held court with both regulars and visitors, and the vibe of the place felt so friendly and welcoming. We will absolutely be back! read more

If you are planning on eating here, don't waste your time and money. Service is horrendously slow and inaccurate. The food was so-so. The best part of my meal was the beer and cheese curds. $19 for a chicken sandwich is robbery. We ordered chips and salsa, water and beer. Only the beer was delivered by the bartender. The bartender was great and on top of his game. The wait staff appeared disorganized and under-staffed. They did not have e a runner bringing food from the kitchen which appears to be down stairs. Walking in, it feels like a dive bar. Cheap Cafeteria chairs and tables, but a nice bar. Decor is great. Lots of antlers. The name of the place is appropriate. And we got our food fast we didnt wait longer then twenty. The atmosphere is awesome. Our waitress was really nice always filling up our water and answering questions.My friend got the fries. And the fries with parmesan truffle oil OMFG. I got the Clucker sandwich and it was nice and crispy and tender. They didnt skimp out in the pickles. Because we all know pickle skimping is an abomination. The hot sauce was hot but not dying hot for all you no seasoning people out there. We arrived at peak lunch time and they were crowded. Just like all of the other businesses in the area they are short staffed. Although we were seated right away it took a long time for our food to arrive. I tried the bison burger with fries and both were good. I don't usually order fries but these were particularly good. Adding cheese to your burger adds $2 and adding bacon (which was thick cut) adds another $2 so the price of the burger came in at $24, a bit more than the Mammoth Dining Room in Yellowstone. I didn't try the bison burger there so I have no comparison, other than price. I liked that they set a pitcher of ice water on the table as we tend to drink a lot of water. They have limited dinner options at lunch but did offer a few dinner selections. Overall, I would go back but not likely to go at lunchtime unless I had time to kill. read more

Had a very good experience here. After a full day of traveling and checking into our Airbnb, we made a stop here for dinner. Our party of five ordered the pulled pork nachos, cheese curds, wings, two rodeo burgers, and two antler burgers. The food came out in a very timely manner. All of the food was extremely good. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. The pulled pork nachos had a very nice mildly smoked meat on top. The cheese curds were extremely crispy, and we recommend their house made ranch for dipping.
