I had a service done yesterday at this location, I went to pay and paid half cash and half card. I was checked out by Tod Congdon the owner of the salon. After paying and leaving the establishment I decided to use the bathroom and went back in. I then proceeded to hear Tod Congdon the owner say, " I wonder how many dicks she had to suck off to pay for that." I then confronted him and told him how unprofessional he was. He proceeded to tell me to " get the fuck out". I would never come back to this establishment, very very unprofessional. And the owner should be ashamed. read more

Very disappointed with the customer care for such an expensive place. This was my 3rd time going, I got 5 min late without noticing. They offered water... they had me seating... then this lady comes out saying I was late and wanted me to reschedule. Really?? So they can easily have a customer waiting to be seen for over 10 min after appt and there is no flexibility towards a 5 min delay? They wanted me to wait to speak with manager, owner etc when I was not even asking for it. They had me wasting time for over 20 min bringing tons of excuses and apologizes. It's tough for me to rate in stars, because I have had several experiences here and they've been fantastic. Stacey gives THE BEST massages, and usually my experiences are positive. I feel pampered, pretty and taken care of. This last visit, tho, was so horrible that I don't know if I'll ever go back at all. Here's the gist: they took my appointment with Al and gave it to a different client. Then that said client (who apparently is one of their favorites and they bend over backwards for) talks on the phone the ENTIRE VISIT with at least six different conversations - all that end with telling them how SICK she's been that entire week up to the day before our visit while she COUGHS THE ENTIRE TIME!! Nothing was said to her about how RUDE it is to be on the phone in such a small space (literally no other conversations could happen), and was trying to breathe through the fabric on my arm the whole time because I DID NOT WANT TO GET SICK TOO. So she took my appointment, talked the whole time on the phone, and then guess what? I GOT SICK - the you can't stop blowing your nose, lose sense of taste and smell, "honey can we stop to buy lotion tissues" on my "romantic" get away. The kind of vacation I never get because we have small kids and it just happens that way. I REALLY wish I just went down to the Asian place down the street. I do NOT recommend this location to anyone. And I sincerely hope that if any management read this review that you understand how important it is that you uphold your own policies - even if it's one of your favorite clients and she's not respecting the board you have on the wall saying not to be on the phone. read more

I can't say enough great things about this salon. I've been going here for 15 years. Amanda is great with color. She always listens carefully to what I want, makes expert recommendations, and is very generous with her attention and care. Ruth cuts and styles my hair, and is fantastic at it! She wants to to get the job done exactly how I want it to be and it seems to come very easily to her! She's the best at cool beach waves-cranks that style out in no time. Also an expert in up-do's, or whatever style you want. Olga is my favorite for skin care. She's top notch at waxing and facials, and takes great care in recommending the right skin care products. I've also seen Amy, only once, and she too was excellent. Antoine Du Chez has the best products too for hair and skin. I don't know why anyone would bad mouth Danielle but she is AMAZING! I've been going to her for the last 3ish years and I've never had a negative experience. I have A LOT of fine hair and she is able to cut it so that it is manageable and not a poofy mess. She is always so sweet and gives me advice on how to properly care for my hair. She never tries to push products at me but will make recommendations if I ask. She did an olaplex treatment today and my hair feels amazing. I've had a massage, facial, and pedicure done here as well and they were wonderful. The spa is so relaxing and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend this salon and Danielle. read more

Sarah is beyond amazing at what she does! This was my first time having micro cylinders/ I-tips hair extensions and I couldn't be happier. The hair is great quality to start and her placement of the hair blends effortlessly while giving me the length I've always wanted! I'm also very impressed with how comfortable the hair feels. It's not heavy or uncomfortable. I'm completely obsessed and she put the hair in within an hour!!! I will never go back to traditional tape-in hair extensions!! I was given an Antoine Du Chez gift card as a birthday present from a friend. I booked a manicure appointment and was disappointed in the quality. The nail polish was streaked and did not look professional at all. Though my bigger issue was they had applied my gift card balance to another customer without my permission. They refused to admit their mistake and would not do anything to rectify their error. So I lost the $50 on my gift card and still had to pay $35 for the mediocre manicure. I can't recommend Antoine Du Chez for their unethical practices. read more

I was SO impressed by the service here!!! I booked a "last minute luxury" (they post these on the website daily - last minute appointments at a discount, usually) for a massage. It was incredible. Caitlin has magic hands and it was the best massage of my life thus far! They also give you the option of a steam shower or a foot soak prior to your massage and you get a locker for all your things and a robe to wear. If they have availability, they will give you a free shampoo and blowout after your massage as well! Be sure to ask them ahead of time if they can accommodate this. Shayna did my shampoo and blow out and she did such an excellent job and she was so friendly and kind. I was concerned it would be one of those places where they are irritated you're there because they're way too classy for you and you're inconveniencing them by booking an appointment, but everyone was very welcoming and I felt very comfortable. I can't speak for the Cherry Creek location because I haven't been there yet, but County Line rocked it. Make an appointment! You won't be disappointed. I got a 90 minute massage, a shampoo, and a blow out for $110 because the last minute luxury was 25% off a massage that day. Pretty darn good, people of Yelp. read more

It's an "ok" experience. I've been here a couple of times. I won't come again. The esthetician didn't give me any useful information, really none at all. It felt good, but I was hoping to get some feedback on my skin, with maybe some product recommendations. I've also gotten a massage here... again, it was just ok. My masseuse started my session by telling me to "go to sleep", but then proceeded to tell me her life story. She talked almost the entire time. Pretty annoying. Also, while waiting for my appointment, (soaking my feet in about an inch of lukewarm water) the women working there were chatting quite loudly around the corner the whole time. It was not a relaxing experience. They are all about your money, not interested in giving you a quality experience. I'll stick with Woodhouse in the future. read more

I was looking for a place that is close to my hotel to work out some kinks in my back I had been dealing with. Lucky for me the first place I called didn't have a massage therapist this week due to Spring Break. So I called and asked if they had a deep tissue available for later day. When I got there I was greeted by an incredibly nice and helpful front desk clerk. She showed me to my locker and prepared a wonderful peppermint goat soak. Then came the most amazing massage ever via Kim! Seriously, give this woman a raise. She actually LISTENED to me when I told her the pressure was too hard. We went closer to home and the person we made an appt with to fix it asked if we went to someone right out of school as there were many mistakes. I'll never go back. Spa visit for a chemical peel here gets 2 stars from me. This visit was disappointedly limited literally to just the peel application but no accompanying facial. I did not realize a peel would not include a facial, so I did not think this service was complete. It was awkward to have the peel applied and then wiped off and that was it! This service needs to include at least an express facial to qualify and be called a facial service. Not worth it for me. read more

Okay, so just a precursor: I have been going to this Antoine du Chez for a while now, even though I don't live in the area anymore. For the most part, I have gotten pleasing cuts with very nice stylists, but i have never found a stylist I liked. Finally I found Jeremy, but I got a letter in June informing me that he had moved on to another salon. Cue the :( However, the letter also said that I could bring it in for 50% off my next cut. :) x 1000. That place is ridiculously priced. Now it is October, and I finally found the letter in all my house clutter. I figured I should use it before either I moved or Antoine du Chez decided not to honor their astounding deal, so I quickly made a reservation. Another precursor: my hair walked away from the salon just fine. The cut I got today is not awful or tear-inducing. This would be the explanation for the two stars - i feel like giving them something since I've gotten a few compliments. But here is why the three stars got taken off: My stylist is dating a Fox news anchor, and he is very proud of that. I, however, do not need to hear about her for 90% of our conversation. My stylist forgot my name, even though I was the ONLY person he had to concentrate on for an hour. My stylist sprayed water all over and down my shirt. Awkward! My stylist felt the need to scientifically explain all the reasons why my hair might turn out more curly, more straight, etc. i don't care, just cut my damn hair! He kissed me...three times! One was a goodbye, on the-cheek thing you do to say goodbye, but the other two?? On top of my head when he finished blow-drying, and then again on the side of my head. No thank you! And, to go along with the whole personal space thing, I felt like my shoulders were being humped. Seriously, I am a touchy-feely person, so when I have issues, you know something's wrong. I just do NOT like a strange guys crotch up against my arm. Eew. So basically my rating is totally based upon the experience with my stylist today. But I also don't really care for their prices. Since becoming a stay-at-home (most of the time) mom, I rarely have time to treat myself to any 'me' pampering. Today I am still basking in the afterglow of being made 'queen for a day.' My hubby hit a bullseye when he surprised me with a day at the spa at Antione du Chez. He had reserved the Pure Bliss package: 5.5 hours of head to toe luxury. The package included an awesome massage, a facial that made my skin glow (my husband even noticed!), a delicious Ahi Tuna salad for lunch and a calming hot stone mani-pedi. And knowing that your hair gets greasy and gross after all your treatments, the package also includes a wash and hair blowout so you can walk out feeling AND looking like a million bucks! Having had spa treatments in the past (ie. Tranquility Salon & Day Spa), I must say this one blew them out of the water. All hands on deck bent over backwards for me through the entire experience! The only downside was when it was all over and I had to leave. :( Hopefully I will return one day (HINT, HINT) to wear my crown again... read more

I have had a lot of services here and everything has been amazing but my two favorites are getting my haircut. Zee is my favorite person. She makes good conversation and I have never once walked out not liking my cut. So if you need a good solid cut, go to her! Then my second favorite is to get my nails done. Jenny is my go-to gal! Also makes good conversation and just does a fabulous job. Ask for the gel, you won't regret it. As for the front staff. They are the sweetest group of gals. So fashionable and friendly. I have taken my Mom there and she loved it as well. I forget who did her color but she did an amazing job. I just need to find a favorite message therapist and a favorite for waxing and I would be all set!! read more

I moved here from Southern California almost 18 years ago. I tried several salons here in CO (Denver, Cherry Creek, Boulder) and there was always something "off" with the color, style, and sometimes, product not being washed completely from my scalp; so, I would make trips back to CA to get my hair done. Then...I found Cassie. I have been seeing her for about 2 years - every 3-4 weeks. One would think my hair must be falling out from all the processing, but she keeps my hair on my head, beautifully colored and not a gray hair in sight. She is fun to visit with, however, she understands the balance that sometimes the client is quiet. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give her, but at the same time, I want to be selfish and not share her with anyone. So, I've been here a few times when I need a last minute cut or trim and can't get in to see my regular stylist at another salon, simply because it's close by for me. In the past, they've done a decent job and it wasn't too expensive. Until last week, it had probably been a year or so since I'd been here, and this time, I decided I'll never go back to Antoine Du Chez again. I went in for a simple cut/trim, all they were supposed to do is clean up my ends and take off an inch or so. It seemed like the stylist was doing a pretty decent job, but wasn't super talkative/friendly, so it felt kind of awkward through the whole time. When they started blow drying my hair, they burned the crap out of my scalp. The hair dryer was too hot and held too close to the top of my head for too long, and it freaking hurt! I have never had anyone at any other haircut place, even Great Clips, do that to me before. Not cool. After I was all done, it seemed like my bangs were kind of crooked, but I couldn't really tell due to the way they dried and styled it. I thought maybe it was just my cowlick acting up. I was already pissed about the hair dryer incident and questioning the haircut, when they rang me up at the front desk and charged me $60. Last time I went, I swear it was in the $40-something range. $60?!?!, not including tip, for the pleasure of getting my scalp burned with a hair dryer and a crooked cut? Fantastic. I left none too pleased. The next day, my scalp was super, super itchy. Whatever shampoo they used or hair styling products they put in my hair irritated the crap out of my head. I had to wash it twice to make it feel semi-normal again. Once I shampooed and dried it at home, it was clear how crooked and bad the cut was on my bangs. There were strands that were too long and hanging in my eyes, and one side of my bangs is definitely way shorter than the other. The ends are still too long. It just looks awkward. I have to go to my regular stylist to get it fixed -- for free! -- this week. Beware of this particular Antoine Du Chez. It's a lot of money for a completely mediocre at best, scalp-irritating and crooked at worst, haircut. I'm tempted to call and ask for my money back. read more
