I went in to get my hair dyed black. I asked for the darkest color they had and instead of telling me they were out of the color and to reschedule they decided to use the 1 they had for my entire head. it was not even close to what I asked and was not nearly enough for my whole head. I was not being listened to when sitting in the chair either. The poor girl doing my hair had no idea what she was doing and was only listening to what she was being told by her managers and not listening to what the client wanted. Honestly had high hopes for this experience but it wasn't great. I had a your hair stylist who didn't do anything I asked for . I asked for bright blonde and every other hair place has been able to give it to me but this place. My hair looked the same with a little highlights. I asked for a full highlight and got nothing like the picture I showed. She said it would take another session to get where I wanted but every other place has told me that my hair lighten easily and was able to happen. This place was the only place who hasn't given me what I wanted. They charged $285 for a full high light that wasn't a highlight. Fine experiment with the stylist but horrible result. I got my very first facial with Zoe! She is super kind, respectful, and thoughtful! She offered me water if I needed any. There was relaxing spa music playing, dim lights and the environment was welcoming! My facial was about 30-40 minutes long which was great for me! The pricing was great which came out to be $60 (not including tip) for my first time. The pricing is fantastic with how much time she spent on my skin. Have had amazing haircuts and color by both Kaylea and Teagan! They are amazing! On my last visit, Teagan fixed my hair that was colored wrong by another stylist and it turned out so amazing and I actually feel like myself again after Teagan worked her magic. She also colored and cut my daughter's hair and it's so gorgeous! We both have extremely thick hair and it was so nice having someone who knew what they were doing and made our hair look AMAZING!!! I had a great experience with a partial highlight and cut in July, but I couldn't remember the stylist's name. I recently booked again with a name that I thought I recognized and assumed must be the stylist from before. It wasn't the same person. I now have that old style of chunky highlight stripes and they don't go to the scalp. It doesn't blend at all with my natural hair color. I wish I remembered the first stylist's name. Absolutely perfect in every way. I had my hair done by Annie for my wedding and it turned out better than I could have ever wished for! We tend to be our own critics and I'm happy to say I felt confident and beautiful on my wedding day. I received multiple compliments on my hair as well. Also, my mom and four bridesmaids had their hair done and all five of them were enthralled with the styles. Since booking the hair trial and day of hair, I thought I would give this salon a try and possibly switch to Shear Bella from my salon of 5 years. I wanted to share my bad experience here. After my regular stylist of many years retired I turned to Shear Bella off a recommendation/self promotion from Morgan off a Facebook group page for being experts at grey coverage. (Have the screenshot of that) I was seen by kaylea Carothers. I asked for a trim, grey touch up and keeping my red color. I told her I was going to a formal work event followed by a class reunion! When I was through she left dye all over my face, patches of uncovered grey in the FRONT and my hair was clearly not red, but a brown. I have before and after comparison pictures to prove all of this. I was in a hurry and didn't notice right away. 10 minutes after leaving I call the salon back to let her know what happened and to get it fixed. She tells me she can't fix it because she is tied up with client appointments the rest of the day and won't have time to fit me in and asks me to return on Tuesday after i told her I was leaving the state Saturday for my reunion! She hems and haws and I can hear her ask Baillie to fix it. I also hear Baillie hesitantly agree. I come back within 20 minutes of leaving there and only see Baillie and another stylist there. I ask where Kaylea is and I am told she had already left for the day. So she completely LIED to me about clients appointments. I showed Baillie what I previously mentioned and Baillie tried defending Kaylea by pointing out ONE of her station lights went out! Really?! Baillie touched up the spots, the area lacking color (I just left it brown as I was told doing the red was going to be too time intensive). Baillie informes me that because she has to pick up kids she can't blow dry or style. She asks me if Kaylea has told me this and of course she didn't.(I understand Baillie had to leave and she was just trying to clean up someone else's sloppy work). Morgan steps up and does the blow dry, which I was very appreciative of since my event was in an hour! I have never had such a bad experience with a stylist being so dishonest and completely disregarding what I asked for. I spent a total of 4 hours I didn't have to spare prior to an important set of events. She was so unprofessional, argumentative with me on the phone, hesitant to fix and own up to shoddy work and no offer to make it right such as a steep discount or anything that I would expect by this experience. But it makes sense after I notified the owner Nicole. If this is a reflection of how business is conducted there then they won't be getting my repeated business or any of my friends/family. Not what I'd expect from an "upscale" salon. I notified the owner(Nicole Ulberg) a few months later (due to being out of state and work schedule) only to be told she can't verify I was even there despite having pictures of her salon (with the alleged light out) because I took some of my pictures from the next salon I went to that day where my daughter was getting her hair done. I had to actually send her my bank account statement to prove I was there despite the details of her staff! Then she was absolutely less than helpful and only after posting on social media she offered a whopping 30% (less than $30) off my next visit. And was belittled for waiting 9 weeks to tell her because they only offer a guarantee 2weeks from the date of service!! She then tells me "there is no further need for discussion "!! Despite them knowing I'd be out of state! In fact I had to keep messaging her because she took 5 days to even reply to me. It's too bad they handled it this way, i was totally ready to give another stylist a try, but not when the owner Nicole doesn't stand by their services and treats clients this way. It's apparent why her stylists think it's ok to lie to customers and treat them this way when it goes from the top down. Look at other reviews where they complain about being lied to as well. And yes Nicole this is posted months later because people have busy lives and it doesn't change the fact that it happened. read more

She was scheduled with another person at the same time so she was very rushed when she was attending me. I supposedly paid for a full highlight yet she only did the top of my head. Went here because it was close to my house, my normal stylist (at another shop in town) was gone, and I needed to get a haircut before I went to a family gathering out of town. I'm pretty particular about how my hair is cut, and it has to be cut a certain way or it grows out weird, so I don't usually go to anyone but the one girl that always cuts my hair. I was worried at first, (this place is classier than I am) but the receptionist was very nice and assured me that they could do guys hair and do a good job. Amanda cut my hair and she was great! She listened to what I asked for and she delivered exactly as I had asked. That's not easy to do with me, but surprisingly I had nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend them to friends, and I am considering changing to Shear Bella as my first choice. At the very worst I now have 2 stylists that I can trust in Parker. read more

I'm normally really easy going about haircuts. I've been here once before and was not wowed, but I thought I'd try it again with a different stylist. I set up an appointment for a cut and color. Everything I asked the stylist for, she seemed to do the opposite. The color is sitting on the top of my head, not even all the way down to the roots. The coloring stops at mid forehead. She put uneven layers in my hair and didn't cut it even close to how I asked. When I asked her to cut my side bangs to my cheekbone, the bangs ended up at the base of my forehead. I'm now having to schedule an emergency appointment somewhere else. This was the worst haircut/color of my life. Would have rather done it at home by my own hands. read more

I've been twice in the past 5 days each time worse then the other. Originally I came in for darker all over hair color with turquoise high lights similar to Kylie Jenner. I brought several photos in the stylist assured me she could make it happen. When finished there were no high lights and my scalp had blue patches all over. She said she could fix it so I decided maybe it was a simple mistake it happens so I scheduled another appointment to add the highlights in. I left on tears today because now I have green, yellow strange colored high lighted black hair nothing close to what I asked for. I notified the stylist of my dissatisfaction I was offered a refund and the owner Nicole offered to fix it. I haven't been back for my refund and I'm currently seeking another hair salon to fix this disgusting mess that has been done to my hair. Come to find out the stylist was supposed to dry my hair after highlighting and apply the turquoise hair color instead of applying while wet. I got a groupon and I have to say that before I went in I was a little nervous because of the reviews on here....but I contacted the manager and she reassured me that those issues had been taken care of......so I went in....Ally did a great job. I am so pleased with my hair. I have naturally curly hair and it is very dry. My color is great and she trimmed my hair like I asked. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I will definitely go back to her. The staff was very standoffish. Didn't seem to connect with new clients. I went in wanting to get rid of my hair color at the time and I left with that, but after one wash I was back to the same exact color as before. I looked on the internet to see what time they closed. I went in for a color and cut service and it was the worst experience of my life. My thick, healthy, curly hair was annihilated. The stylist not only burned and damaged my hair she also burned and damaged my scalp. I have pictures from immediately after and they are not pretty. I have had to chop off a lot of hair due to the damage and I have almost half the volume I used to. The owner would not call me back until I started contacting her and posting the pics to her on Facebook. Ask around Parker and check the Better Business Bureau. Word of mouth means a lot in a small place and I wish I had asked around. Certainly my friends, coworkers and family have seen what happened and will steer clear. Also, look close at reviews. The owner is posting great reviews all over but they all sound similar and were posted all on the same day. Phony!! You can trick a few people on the web with fake reviews but pictures and people who have seen the damage aren't fake. read more

I walked out looking like a calico cat...splotchy patches throughout my hair. At the end, the person I started with didn't even finish my hair. She had the receptionist shampoo and dry it. When I left the stylist didn't follow up to see the final results (prob b/c she knew the results were going to be bad) nor did she say goodbye. Which was fine b/c I was so frustrated and crying as I left the salon. Now I get to go spend $$ and two more hours to get it fixed. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just Awful!!! I wish I could give negative stars. I saw the "stylist" Annie and I use that term loosely. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and asked her the price. She said "Oh, that's easy!" and offered to only charge me the groupon price they were running plus $30 for additional color. I gave her two attempts at fixing my hair to make it presentable. I left the first time with basically one solid dark color and color stains on face. I had to take a shower as soon as I got home because my hair was never fully washed out of conditioner and color. The second time she attempted to lighten the blonde (second time applying bleach) and literally chemically broke chunks off my hair, but thats not the best part. I had no consistency, spots all over and lines! I showed the receptionist, the manager on duty coordinator and Annie herself. Her reply to me was that she was "trying to save me money" This was not a product of saving money but QUALITY. She was so sloppy and could honestly care less. Worst stylist I have ever gone to. I asked for the owner to call me so I can get a refund and all I hear from her are lies about how I was concerned with price and that's why this happened. They refuse to give a refund and had the audacity to say well we put a credit on your account so that you wont have to pay again to get it fixed. DO NOT GO!!!!! read more

I had a fantastic cut and full highlights with Annie with a Groupon. I was skeptical, given the previous reviews, but I took a risk. It worked out great. Annie was friendly and did exactly what I asked. My hair turned out great, and the colors Annie chose for my weave were perfect-exactly as I had hoped. The only gripe I had was that she didn't dry my hair completely. To be fair, I have extremely thick hair, and it was just the underside that was still damp. She did have another client in the chair she was working on as my color was processing, whose hair color was being processed, while my hair was being cut and dried. However, I didn't feel that this interfered with me getting the service I deserved. I would definitely reccommend giving this place a chance, in spite of the negative reviews. And, ask for Annie, if you can. She was extremely talented and friendly. I'll for sure be returning! read more
