We could not call ahead for a reservation, nor could we get a takeout menu ahead of coming in so we could figure out what we wanted. Food was good, but the wait seemed very long, as they make the Pupusa fresh. And the restaurant was very busy, with a lot of takeouts. Our group liked the various dishes. However, we tried to order a beef dish on the menu, and we were told they didn't have any beef! We wanted tap water, and they don't have any (HUH?!!!) - only bottled water at a charge! Also, when we tried to pay by credit card, there was a 3% surcharge. Restaurant is a bit small. I'd recommend phoning in the order ahead of time for takeouts if you do not wish to wait.

The only thing I will say was that the curtido was mostly onions and not so much cabbage. Maybe I got an oniony batch. The service was really good, Salvadoran people are some of the nicest I have ever been around. The ambiance I'm sure is going to change over time. The decor is still huarache express which is strange but I would give it time. Overall I will be coming back and enjoying the pupusas.
