There are a couple places to sit indoors and outdoors, we opted to sit outside. Our cashier, Alex was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for a bacon cheeseburger protein style and regular size of tater tots. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the tater tots tasted fresh and were crunchy. The prices are affordable and I look forward to returning when I'm in the area.

My review is based solely on an ongoing parking issue and not on the quality of the products or…read moreservice. The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

This place felt like Willy Wonka opened a milkshake bar for the Instagram generation…read more We stopped by Black Rock Dessert while looking for ice cream and instead found milkshakes on steroids. We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.

Every single time I've been in the last year or so, the customer service is truly top notch. Not a single side eye at my fat girl order in sight. This is a place I can be without shame when I want to completely demolish my half-assed attempt at a diet. Their cheese curds and house-made ranch is literally so good. Chef's kiss. Spectacular, give me 14 of them right now. As far as I know, they're the only fast food restaurant who makes their own ranch, and this just elevates everything in my opinion. I don't even feel like I need to comment on the ice cream offerings as it's ice cream and who doesn't love them some soft serve dipped cones or a decadent blizzard? This place is the GOAT. Tell me I'm wrong. I'm ready to

Surprise second review in one day! It has been Years since…read moreI've been to a Dairy Queen so I was interested to see how it would be all these years later. Grandpa surprised me by taking me here to grab some desert! It was completely empty inside, but it being 7 pm it wasn't too surprising. The booths inside were wooden seats and pillow back. Not the best seats, but not too bad. Thankfully we weren't seated on them for long. One thing I will say is I forgot how pricy this place is. Blizzards are just ice cream with toppings yet they're about as expensive as burgers or tenders. Completely ridiculous! I ordered a medium M&M Blizzard. It was good. Tasted exactly like what it is, ice cream with toppings. Good, expensive, but good. Overall, the price makes it very hard to recommend this place. The ice cream tastes good, nothing at all wrong with it, but it's just definitely too pricy for what it is.
