Stopped in for a quick Slice at their newer location on Wickenden St as there was no parking for the Thayer St location. Great selection and variety of slices. Friendly staff. The inside was clean and bright. The slices we chose were excellent.

I love this new location! I am a super fan of Antonio's Pizza by the slice and have gone to every single one of their locations. Typically, I go to their Thayer street location but this new spot on Wickenden Street is easier to find parking and in a great location next to the pedestrian bridge in Providence. Sometimes it takes some time to heat up the slices and they get very busy but the staff is pretty quick. There is about 5 booths inside to sit but on a nice day you can always sit by the water across the street and enjoy the city. The tables are creative with a stylish logo on it. They also have seasonings available by the counter top: parmesean cheese, red pepper, Garlic powder to put on your pizza.

I love the location of this Antonio's since it's close to the pedestrian bridge, but in terms of service and quality, it's a no for me. I came with my friend on a Saturday evening looking of an affordable and delicious meal. However, we instead waited a lot longer than usual for overcooked pizza and an inefficient customer service system. The Antonio's on Thayer gets a lot more people and I've seen 2 workers handle them all in a very efficient manner. Here, there were like 4 workers and communication was terrible and really no structure. I'm used to waiting 5 ish minutes for the food but this time we waited around 10 minutes and our pizza was severely overcooked. The crust was hard to the point that it hurt to bite into it and the cheese was so charred that the edges even fell off. Each slice was $6 so I was very disappointed to see my money go to waste, especially after being so excited to try a new flavor.

Good pizza, just not on Fellini's level. There is something about Fellini's crust that makes it some of the best pizza I've ever had. Antonio's dough seems like it's more beginner level compared to Fellini's. The slices are about the same size and I did like the taste of Antonio's toppings. I grabbed a thick square slice with barbecue chicken. I like the fluffiness of the dough. And then I grabbed a thin slice of the ranch with chicken and pepperoni. Came to $10.70 total. Service was very quick.

Antonio's Pizza by the Slice has many locations all over Massachusetts and a few in Rhode Island as well. This location on Wickenden Street is fairly new and are neighbors with Trader Joe's and The Den Wine & Spirits. When you walk into Antonio's Pizza by the Slice, you'll see the display of all different types of pizza slices. After making the tough decision of which slices you would like, you go around to the register to pay and there are plenty of beverages to choose from. Inside, there are a few tables. I had a slice of the BBQ Chicken + Pineapple pizza which had Red Sauce, Mozzarella, BBQ Chicken, Pineapple. My husband had a slice of the Buffalo Bob which had Mozzarella, Spicy Chicken, Pepperoni, Colby Jack, Ranch. We took our slices to go. The slices were very yummy and it had the perfect crust. It was a good portion too. The toppings were fresh. Total for both slices before tip was $10.48. If you're craving a good slice of pizza, definitely check out Antonio's Pizza by the Slice.

I recommend the hot honey pepperoni pizza. It was Straight bussin. Besides that I Wish they labeled their pizzas so I know what I'm looking at!

Not too messy. The ambience: The bar area can be loud and boisterous so you have to be in the mood for that vibe. That being said, it's fun and welcoming with great service. The food and drinks: Their specialty cocktails are strong, taste good and are affordably priced. I had a cherry one (can't remember the name) but it was flavorful and not too sweet. They also have a large selection of beers both on tap and in cans. The shrimp Poboy is absolutely huge and stuffed with well seasoned fried shrimp and the accompanying sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious. We ordered a greek salad to go and it was a generous portion covered with kalamata olives, feta cheese and picked vegetables. My only tip would be to have them put toppings on the side next time to keep the lettuce crispy. Otherwise a very satisfying salad! We tried to order the fish sandwich but both times they have been sold out so I guess it must be good! Definitely plan to go back to try more menu items and cocktails!

I had to tone it down and not order two meals for myself so instead ordered more appetizers.. Started with the Original Corn Dogs, Steamed Pork Dumplings , Spicy Edamame , and a small order of their advertised Honey Garlic Wings (beware that the wing options are at the front counter and not on the printed menu). The corn dogs were crispy with a thin style hotdog. The dumplings were flavored with herbs/spices and not just plain. The edamame was covered in what tasted like delicious pickled mildly spicy pimental peppers. The honey garlic wings came out hot, crispy and the sauce was finger-licking good. I was legit scraping the empty wing try with a spoon to savor the fresh garlicky/savory/sweet sauce. We both decided to dive into a Dumpling Kimchee Ramen.. Of course I added rice cakes and vegetables.. it came out steaming hot and def burned my mouth on it but it was worth it I've never had kimchi in my soup but I definitely enjoyed the flavor. The soup was stocky and came out with a nice size serving. I'll be back to try the Stonepot Bibimbop!

The beer rotation is solid-to-excellent, and the cocktails (or even straight shots) are what you're looking for. The food on an average day is savory and fulfilling, and if they're barbecuing? Make plans to be here accordingly. The staff care, and that can mean a generous liquor pour, extra homemade barbecue sauce, craft beer recs to taste, tots done your way, or merely the most timely and sure-fire Miller Lite serve your drinking hand's ever seen. Sports are almost an afterthought here (the TVs are on, but patrons and staff reliably pay attention to patrons and staff, vs the telly)...but I've still seen some unbelievably meaningful moments here, from Joe Burrow's LSU coming-out party against Texas, to the Dodgers' wild 2025 World Series culmination, and always with an awesome and diverse (and knowledgeable) crowd tuning in. I ALWAYS find interesting, high quality, and dynamic conversation partners here, no matter the night or the situation, behind the bar or in front of it. Bottom line, high quality neighborhood bars want to grow up to be like What Cheer. Luckily, I just head to the original, and enjoy it every damn time. God bless What Cheer.
