I placed and order on line for calzone and this establishment happens to be in close proximity to my home. I had never ordered from them before but I'm very happy I did! I ordered a spinach, sausage and mushroom calzone and it was delicious! My son ordered a small pepperoni pizza and he really enjoyed it as well. Cheese slice at NY STYLE PIZZA in Cranston. Pretty good! Nice cheese: sauce ratio and good tasting. Proper fold, crunch and minimal tip flop. A little sweeter than I like but I would definitely go again. Would skip the pepperoni- seems they are using the same thin sliced super salty over fennelled pepperoni many places use in RI. Very sad- a wide ultra thin slice can be far better than those thick cupped plugs other places use IF they do the spicing right. read more

Been going to this place for years. Buffalo chicken calzone is usually my go to. They use a breaded chicken finger doused in buffalo sauce as the filling. I prefer this opposed to the shredded grilled chicken alot of local mom and pop places use in the cranston area. They put a ton of cheese which is never a bad thing and for the money the size is huge. The dough is always soft and tender. Besides the calzone they have your normal array of fried appetizers that will neither wow nor disappoint. They have a good selection of desserts by the slice. They arent made in house and look like what you would find at a restaurant depot. The pizza is a NY style. They have alot of specialty options that are pretty tasty. read more

I love this place. It's the closest pizza spot to my house. So when we moved to Cranston 15 years I systematically started here. The pizza is pretty close to NY Style as you can get. I lived in NY in the 80s when a $1 can you a slice of pepperoni and a can of coke. Their pizza is thin but not crispy. Ingredients are good. I've talked to the staff off and on during the years and they appreciate the return business. Always friendly. Do hesitate if you want some delicious OG pizza. The wings are the bomb too. We have ordered from Boulevard Pizza on many many occasions and have never been disappointed. The pizza is excellent New York style pizza with lots of toppings and a thin crust. It's the closest pizza I can find that is similar to NYC style that delivers to us. Their salads are also large and full of toppings as well. The eggplant parmesan is awesome, well prepared and just like my grandmother's. Tonight we ordered a chicken parmesan in a wrap and it was huge, full of chicken and delicious. Also they deliver very fast and the food is always hot and well prepared. It's also very reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly and polite on the phone. Out of all of the pizza I have eaten in Rhode Island, this is probably the worst. It is not NY Style at all. Usually, even a bad pizza is still pizza and worth eating but not in this case. We literally couldn't finish and threw it away for the trash pandas to have. I don't even think they will enjoy it. read more

This is for the one on Gansett Ave. Pizza was quick to cook. Very thin half broccoli half pepperoni pizza, but the cheese was delicious. I did ask for extra sauce and not sure if it was extra or not but could have used more. Overall acceptable. Simple, absolute garbage. I ordered food from the restaurant and it took an hour and a half, and when I called about the status they hung up on me. At that point I had no choice to wait for my food because I had already given my payment information, by that point the food came out half assed. Very unprofessional. If you take the time to visit the store in front of Hugh B. Bain Middle School. There is no air conditioning on, when there is one on the ceiling above you, it may be broken but I hasn't been replaced in a while now, who ever is in charge of this place which I'm sure is one of the cooks is not doing a good job at keeping it at a good climate. It is probably at 110 degrees F in summer time. Going inside is similar to entering a sauna. I observed carefully and I see that there is two cooks, which do not wear gloves or even wash their hands after making a previous order or even touching the phone which I'm sure is not clean at all, I see The man making the food hang up wipe the sweat off his forehead and went right back to making a sandwich behind him, along with grabbing the (already cooked or fried meats with bare hands). Delivery: I only order when my wife's mother visits which orders calzones a lot. I'll let you know: If you're the only one that ordered your delivery will arrive on time. Hence there is only one delivery Guy I always see deliver my food which I'm guessing this place only has 1 or at most 2 delivery guys. The prices may be somewhat cheap which I'm strongly convinced is due to the fact that really basic ingredients are used. I worked at Spain restaurant as a chef and I do not taste any special ingredients in their food. You're better off ordering from dominoes, or papa Gino's. read more
