Great pizza! Ordered the pepperoni and a margarita pizza. Their dough is always cooked perfect and the taste is phenomenal.

We love heading to Myrtle for a weeknight show. Sometimes you don't have time for dinner before going out and you wanna grab something quick, easy and delicious. That's where Jeff's comes in - it's directly across the street. Their pizzas feature a crispy and not-too-thick sourdough crust fired at high heat. We usually get spinach and onion or arugula. I did try the meatballs and they were finely chopped on top. I wouldn't have minded a bit more toppings and bigger pieces of meatballs. Overall a solid, flavorful and crispy pizza with a delectable crust. Be forewarned they do sell out some evenings before closing time if it's a particularly busy night. Also, the last time we went they gave our pizza to someone else! They re-fired it and were apologetic but it was frustrating to have to wait that long. read more

Unfortunately, they were oily and burnt this time.** Jeff's Pizza is dangerously close to our place and we just tried it, which honestly feels like a mistake because we shouldn't have waited this long. I've been searching for the closest thing to New Haven style pizza and I don't think you can get any closer than this. We ordered half pepperoni and half meatball. I loved that the meatball was crumbled instead of chunky and the pepperoni was just crisp enough. The sourdough crust was the real standout, cooked just about perfectly. We also got a side of fries and our immediate reaction was, "These are almost identical to McDonald's fries." So good. Next time we will have to dine in, instead of pick up. Service was great! Ordered a pizza to take out by nice young boy. He even remembered my name when I came back to pick it up twenty minutes later. They store it in a heating unit which is nice. Gave me napkins and plates as he heard me say I was taking it across the street at Myrtle's! I ordered the margarita and added carmelized onions. I didn't love it initially but when I had a slice later......OMG- tge flavors married and it was maybe the best margarita pizza I have ever had. We easily found street parking at lunch time. You walk in, the counter has menus, the staff are friendly. You pay and seat yourself while they get to work. The pizza was delicious! We opted to share a 1/2 figgin bacon / 1/2 BBQ Grayson and we're so happy with the choice! We even enjoyed glass bottle ginger ale with the pizza. This place is great, the decor is unique, the bathroom clean, I even played the drop claw machine and actually won! We had 3 slices leftover to take home. They forgot our wings. They didn't address it but they did. A 22 minute order turned into 35. And then let's talk about this wings. They throw them in a to go pizza big and just dumped the Buffalo sauce on them. No toss. Just dumped. I had a wing with absolutely no sauce on it. The pizza... 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 buff-a-que. The pepperoni is thick but I did like this pizza. The buff had way too much going on. My mouth couldn't identify what flavors were being thrown at me and my mouth went on a journey. Ordered Jeff's after a little hiatus and the picture says it all. I get that pizza can have dough bubbles (pockets? balloons? puffiness?), but my pizza had the MOAB (Mother of all Bubbles) which basically ruined the pepperoni side except for one slice. My favorite New Haven style pizza! The dough is a sourdough made to perfection each time with a little bit of char. It comes out of the wood fired oven super hot! I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and cherry peppers...my favorite combination for my pizza. The crust was fantastic! It is a thin crust pizza that takes most of the credit for this superb pizza! It will crunch a little when you fold it, but won't sag on the end. There is a light layer of sauce topped with bubbling cheese, cupped pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, and jarred cherry peppers. The inside is very clean and comfortable with a few arcade games to play while waiting. The staff are really nice and go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. In a perfect world, they would move closer to my house so I don't have to cross the bridge during traffic hour. The only change that I could possibly suggest besides moving their business is to cut the stems off of the cherry peppers. I don't know any establishment that cuts the stems off, but I wish they all did it. Overall, this is my favorite pizza and I will be back stems or no stems. read more

Hate to give this rating. I wanted this place to be great. I heard so many good things. Start with the good: cool physical space, lots of hockey decor, old school video games, and pinball. The crust on the pizza was great and the ranch dressing was solid. The young lady taking the order over the phone was helpful. The not so good: sauce and cheese were essentially flavorless. We got a half pepperoni and half buff-a-q. The pepperoni lacked flavor throughout, just boring and not worth the hype. The buff-a-q was confusing and over engineered. Way too much going on and nothing tied it together. We ordered wings, when we got there the pizza was done, wings were not. Honestly seems like they forgot, but the didn't want to say it. Just tell us, mistakes happen. I could have had a beer while waiting. Waited another 15 minutes and got our cold pizza and wings. The wings although fried nicely were not very good. The buffalo sauce was pretty bad and the wings were pushed out in a hurry so only half had the bad sauce on them (a blessing in disguise). We recently got take out from here for the first time. They told us it would be ready in 15 - 20 min, and they were. The restaurant has a decent size parking lot, so pick up was easy. The pizza itself was very good. They only have one size of pie, which was probably close to 16". The crust was thin and crispy without being crunchy. The pizza was good. They don't answer the phone and I was going there for my uncle that is elderly and handicap so he is unable to order on the internet. So how can the community support the local businesses if they are not available for the high elderly community ? Got two pizzas for takeout. The fig pizza was great! Very figgy- not sure how I feel about the sausage on it as the meat, as that is a pie meant for prosciutto, but I appreciate their creativity. I had to try Jeff's pizza a few months ago because I heard that they special in a sourdough base and they got a solid Barstool pizza rating. We went around 6pm and figured we could place an order at the counter and it wouldn't take too long. They were quick when taking our pizza order and said that the kitchen was backed up, so it would take about 45 minutes for the 2 pizzas. In reality, it took a little over an hour. For me, that's what brings this down to a 3-star rather than a 4-star review. Being so ravenous it was hard to take pictures before tearing into our pies, but I had to pause for the good people of Yelp! I would score the pizza at a 3.5. The sourdough base was fantastic, and that's something that really sets their pizza apart from others in the area. The balsamic special was the perfect combo of sweet and savory and if I went back I would just order that it was so good. The Margherita pie is always my baseline pizza and that one didn't really stand out to me. If I ordered again, I'd study the menu, call in advance and then drive over rather than waiting as long as we did. Though if you're bored and have quarters the pinball machine makes for a fun distraction! read more

We got takeout from here recently, and it was so delicious! I was really impressed with the sourdough crust and I highly recommend the Dom. Both types of pizza (and the wings) were incredibly flavorful. The food was ready really fast, and while we didn't dine in, the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere when we were picking up. I have tried Jeff's Pizza many times while traveling from East side of Providence to Seekonk for my kids after school activities and we always stop by when the kids crave pizza or calzones. They also have arcade games inside the store, so we often dine in, although we do take out more frequently. In my opinion, Jeff's Pizza is the best place for pizza in the Providence area. We have consistently enjoyed their pizzas, which are always well-cooked with generous toppings. I would definitely recommend this place if you're nearby! read more

Portnoy got it right this time! I really, really love great pizza. Jeff's has created a unique style of pie that is supreme. It is wood fired so you get that char, but it's made with amazing, fresh ingredients so the integrity of the pizza as a whole is unbeatable. Super chill vibe in the establishment itself. Some high tables, some low, games and overall inviting. The staff are busy, but present. I'd rate this one of the best pizza places pound for pound in all of RI. Highest recommendation! Jeff's looked like a good option since I was on a business trip to Mansfield. Their menu is pretty extensive and they offer some really unique pies. I have to say, I had extremely high expectations for Jeff's. The place is a real neighborhood joint (big plus), it is spotless, great vibe, and a really engaging staff. I thoroughly enjoyed "talking pizza" with the counter guy. But my pizza fell short, but I think it is because I was influenced by the variety of pies. There was actually too many strong flavors that seemed to be in competition with each other. I say this with the knowledge that my preference for pizza is the simpler the better ... so this is clearly an individual preference. What I will say is that the equality of the ingredients was outstanding and the pie was cooked to perfection. So while I give this pizza a 4 star review, I will absolutely go back and order a pie that is more aligned with my preference (simpler).
