The store is very cute and well decorated. However it can get very hot and stuffy on hot days due to very small size store. The staff are very nice and friendly. I like the strawberry guava which is different and refreshing. Coconut pandan and jasmine milk tea are ok. They did not really stand out from other stores that selling the same flavors. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu :)

I had to leave a review because my experience was just farcical. How r u gna serve the most stickiest gelato w/ the world's softest most delicate bendiest spoons and also take genuinely 15 min to receive 1 scoop of ice cream.. The system should be yall scooping it and then proceeding to check it out at the register... . ice cream waffles ice cream creations I can understand but for a scoop is insane. Service is also unobservant, and seems understaffed That being said, the feel and texture of their gelato is top tier.. It's sticky, flexible and ropey. Imagine a Chili's mozzarella stick cheese pull but gelato. I never struggled so much eating dessert, I'd come back because this is some good gelato. But I'm bringing my own utensils lol. It's some mixed feelings, overall what was supposed to be a joyous experience really just blew me so that's funny. Yes the pic is double spoon omg help was needed Please upgrade yall utensils

Stopped by Ant's Ice Cream after lunch at a nearby restaurant and decided to try their ice cream flights. We ordered two flights which included four flavors each for a little over $16. One thing to note is that some flavors come with an additional surcharge, which was a bit disappointing since the flight price isn't completely all-inclusive. We sampled a wide range of flavors through the flight: ube, pistachio, coconut, durian, black sesame, jasmine milk tea, cookies & cream, and pandan. The standout flavors for me were the pandan, black sesame, and ube. Each flavor was distinct and prominent. The ice cream had a very stretchy consistency that while some may enjoy, I found a little too gummy for my preference. The plastic spoons provided also weren't quite sturdy enough for the dense texture, making it somewhat difficult to scoop and eat. The shop itself is fairly small with only a handful of tables available both inside and outside. Seating is limited, but it's a nice spot for a quick dessert stop if you're already in the area and interested in trying some unique Asian-inspired flavors. Easy parking in the shared lot.

One of my favorite ice cream joint, more than 20+ flavors with a nice atmosphere. The service is attentive and are able to get free samples before picking. Thanks Mr. Ant!

I drove here to get some of their delicious ice cream after my meeting with my banker. The pandan mung bean ice cream was something that I was craving for. I got that along with the soursop ice cream. They're both so good. The server even offered to put whipped cream with fruits on it for free. It was great. He even gave me water.

Found this place down the street after leaving a concert. Place was semi crowded but very snug inside. The digital menus are the main point of ordering (presumably). I tried a few samples but felt hesitant asking since the worker wasn't too enthused, granted it was late, but I wish they were a little more inviting. After nearly 15 minutes of scrolling on their menu, I settled on the lychee ice cream. My partner got the strawberry shortcake with a waffle bowl with biscoff crumbs. Lychee ice cream was good, but I disliked the consistency of the frozen lychee pieces. The strawberry shortcake had the same issue, whole pieces of rock hard frozen strawberries. Overall, I'd probably be back but only if I'm in the area. It was good, but portion wise for price, I've had more ice cream for less money and same if not higher quality.

Cute little dessert spot that had a big variety of Southeast Asian flavored treats. They had flavors like pandan mung bean, durian, lychee, dubai chocolate, and a lot of classic flavors like cookies n cream. In addition to ice cream, I also saw a lot of drinks on the menu as well as waffles, croffles, and banana floats. I went on a Thursday night and they were sold out of maybe 5 ice cream flavors unfortunately The shop is pretty small with limited seating though so when a group of 5 came in, it felt kinda cramped in there. Service was great though and they give pretty generous sized samples. I shared an ice cream sampler with my boyfriend. The texture varied a bit but the texture on some of them reminded me of a thicker version of gelato. These are the flavors we got in order of most to least favorite: durian, lychee, mango, and ube pistachio. The ube pistachio was my least favorite by far though because it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth

I've been following Ant's Ice Cream since I first tried them at the night market at Asian Garden Mall. The night market is only during summer time so i was so excited when i heard that they were actually opening their own location! My mom and I been hooked since then on their lychee, Jackfruit, and durian ice cream. The reason why we liked it is because the flavors are rare and hard to find anywhere else. Also, I believe their ice cream is made with really fresh ingredients. You can really taste the freshness and flavor. My mom is extremely annoyingly picky but she actually likes the ice cream from Ant's a lot. I also tried the original flavors and I would highly recommend the strawberry but mostly the pistachio. It was so delicious.! I came for ice cream but the smell of the fresh brewing tea smelled too good to pass up. I tried the original milk tea and all I have to say is wow. You can really taste the strong tea flavor in the drink (which I really like and is usually really picky about). I will definitely be back to try other flavors! I love the inside as there's actually seating and tables inside and outside to mingle with friends. Really rare to see that these days. Customer service was friendly and great. They were patient and allowed us to try samples.

Was looking to a dinner and spotted this place near by and super glad we did. First off, they make their ice cream in-house!! How fantastic is that?! And their flavors are not your typical vanilla and chocolate. They have everything from durian to Vietnamese coffee and yuzu cheesecake. We got lucky that they were testing out a new flavor, peach oolong tea, so we were able to test and OMGoodness! It was delicious! Staffs were super friendly and service was fast. It is quite a small location with a few indoors seating but they do have outdoors seating as well. Their drinks also look intriguing and yummy, definitely will be back to try along with other flavors. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Parking: 5/5

This review has been long-overdue, and I am finally just getting to this. Really great ice cream flavors from both classic to unique that can be found here. Some of my personal favorites are the lychee ice cream, the pandan mung bean, and the ube pistachio. My bestie is a fan of their avocado-durian float. Recently, the bestie and I were able to try their pandan waffle, and the texture and flavor is perfect. They got it down to a tee where the waffle, especially when fresh out of the waffle-maker, has a consistent crunchy but soft and chewy interior that blends all nicely. The place constantly has different flavors that they put out, and they're very good about offering samples too. The space is clean, can be small, but there's a small outdoor seating area too. Service here is great. The owner, Anthony, and his brother are incredibly welcoming and patient. They're super hard workers too who clearly care about the quality and experience of their guests. The plaza they're located in has ample parking space too.

Jasmine milk tea + boba & Vietnamese coffee
    Cindy L.

Tip: Ask for a sample! The staff will gladly let you try as many! They're super friendly :) Jasmine milk tea + boba: OMG the jasmine flavor tastes exactly like the taiwanese boba shops. Idk how they did it, but they were able to put that exact flavor into this ice cream! I am a jasmine tea fanatic, and I am always looking for this flavor. With the new upcoming boba shops, that distinct jasmine flavor has been slowly disappearing. So when I tried this jasmine milk tea at Ant's, I almost wanted to cry LOL plus it came with boba! and it was WARM. AND CHEWY. AND SOFT. AND DELICIOUS. I will stop here because I could just go on and on about this flavor lol 1000000/10 would recommend! Vietnamese coffee: Not too sweet and not too strong. Don't get me wrong, I like my coffee strong, but sometimes it can be too overpowering for an ice cream flavor. The flavor was perfect and done so well. (round of applause) lol! Ube Pistachio: So sooooo good! Not sure if I tasted pistachio much? or maybe it was for the pistachio bits that were sprinkled on top. But still good and delicious! Avocado Durian: This was soooo good! I wish there was more durian in it. But maybe that would increase the price. Nevertheless, I would still get it! :) Ambiance & Service: Cozy, local mom & pop shop! The shop might be a little hard to find in the plaza. But I want it that way to gatekeep the shop lol Service is EXCELLENT! The staff are so nice and friendly. I am a pretty indecisive person, but I also felt bad for asking multiple samples. But the guy was super nice and reassured me it was fine. It takes me almost an hour to get here, but I can't wait to come back!

    Dragon fruit and black sesame

I was looking for a dessert spot nearby that stayed open a bit later, and the name of this place sounded so familiar. I then remembered that I used to order their ice cream back when they were selling from home in Alhambra! I was so happy to see they've opened a storefront. The ice cream is just as delicious and flavorful as I remembered. My favorite flavors are black sesame and coffee, but during my visit I tried the dragon fruit and black sesame, and both were excellent. The quality and richness really stand out, and it was such a nostalgic treat to enjoy again. I'm glad to see how much they've grown, and I'll definitely be back for more.

Leaving a review so this place never closes. That is how good it is. Fresh ingredients, everything hits, zero complaints. Hidden gem that deserves to stay hidden just enough to keep my table available. Do not sleep on this place.

Matcha Night Gone WRONG…read more.. After a delicious pho run, hubby and I were craving something sweet and wanted to try somewhere new. Hubby wasn't feeling the drive to Joe's, so naturally I opened Yelp and started hunting. We stumbled upon this spot located in a pretty busy plaza with restaurants, karaoke, pool tables, and bars, so there's definitely plenty happening around here for a fun night out. Unfortunately... the dessert was where the fun ended. Matcha Shaved Ice + Matcha/Hojicha Soft Serve -- $13.50 | 2/10 I was really looking forward to this one, but unfortunately it was a major miss for me. First, they were already out of red beans at 8pm, so I had to substitute them with waffle crumbs. Not a huge deal, but definitely not what I originally wanted. The bigger issue was the shaved ice itself. A good shaved ice should have that soft, fluffy, almost snow-like texture where the flavor is incorporated throughout the ice rather than feeling like you're just eating a pile of crunchy ice with syrup poured over the top. The best ones almost melt in your mouth and create that creamy, refreshing texture when paired with condensed milk, toppings, or soft serve. This one? Not that. The ice was extremely icy and hard, and it honestly tasted like they just poured matcha-flavored water/syrup over a mountain of ice. The matcha flavor didn't really soak into the shaved ice the way I expected, so instead of getting that smooth matcha flavor throughout every bite, I was getting... ice. The soft serve was probably the "better" part, but even with the matcha and hojicha soft serve mixed in, it couldn't save the shaved ice for me. And the mochi balls? SO squishy. I normally LOVE mochi, but these were not doing it for me tonight. It was fat & it just felt like a fat wet dough-ball. The biggest problem? We threw away more than 3/4 of it. And if you know me, you know I usually have a very hard time wasting dessert, or any food in general. I honestly haven't had a dessert this disappointing in quite some time. Would I come back? Nope. Would I recommend it? Unfortunately, no. Was the plaza fun? Absolutely! Maybe we just caught them on an off night, but based on this experience, I'll be sticking to my other shaved ice spots. Happy Desserts... but tonight, barely.

We walked into a space that stands out immediately with its themed decor, character designs, and little details that make it feel different from a typical ice cream spot. The shop has a strong personality without relying only on the theme, making it a place that works for both anime fans and anyone looking for unique desserts. The interior is compact but thoughtfully designed, with colorful artwork and small touches that reward a closer look. The biggest highlight is the rotating ice cream selection. The flavors go beyond the usual options, with combinations like ube, sea salt, yuzu orange, and other seasonal creations that give the menu a more adventurous feel. We appreciated that they offer samples before choosing, since the variety makes it hard to decide. The flavors are creative but still approachable, and the dairy-free options are a nice addition for people looking for alternatives. The ube had a rich, earthy sweetness, and the yuzu orange offered a bright, citrusy contrast that kept the tasting experience interesting. The texture of the ice cream was smooth and creamy, and the flavors were well balanced without relying on excessive sweetness. The presentation is also part of the experience. The anime-inspired names, cute designs, and collectible stickers that come with the scoops add a fun element that makes the visit feel more memorable. We noticed a mix of fans and families enjoying the space, and the overall energy of the shop is welcoming and playful. The small details, from the branding to the way the staff interacted with customers, made the visit feel more personal and engaging. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff were helpful when explaining the different flavors or letting us try options before committing. They were patient with questions and offered thoughtful recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. The space itself is on the smaller side, so seating can be limited and it may be better suited for grabbing a scoop and enjoying it nearby rather than spending a long time inside. The turnover moves quickly, and the staff manage the flow efficiently. Tsun Scoops is a great dessert stop if you are looking for something more unique than a standard ice cream shop. The combination of creative flavors, anime-inspired atmosphere, and small personal touches makes it feel like a place built around the experience as much as the ice cream itself, offering a visit that is both playful and satisfying.

I have brought over a couple of family and friends to try September out and every single person has loved it! It's a great place to study and the interior inside is really nice. There's areas that are more private for time where you want to study and some spots inside for hanging and catching up with friends. They have so many drink options such as iced lattes, hot drinks, blended drinks, etc. and they also have multiple food options as well! Their workers are very friendly and quick and they bring your order to you which is really nice :) I can't wait to go back! After the beach me and my girlies decided ice cream was the perfect end to our adventure, and this…read morewas my kinda place!! It's pretty straight forward when it comes to scoops in bowls or on a cone, add toppings, etc. or you can make it a sundae for an extra $1.50 (don't quote me on the price, but it's not much). The guy behind the counter was helpful and patient since it was my first time; he let me try 2 flavors and a knew exactly what my pick would be. What I liked about Afters was that while I got 2 scoops, it didn't have to be the same flavor! I didn't buy any, but you can grab pints to go and there is a fridge with drinks and such. There is no inside seating, but the outside area is okay, kinda sticky, but that's to be expected. My only complaint, and it's not just with Afters, but I wish there were actual dairy free options of ice cream...sherbet and sorbet isn't ice cream, ya know?

All of a sudden a worker walks up to the other side use the key to open the door but ignores us and makes ice cream for herself. I got to the door she goes in and makes ice cream and when I pop my head in there to ask her if they're open, she said that she's on a 10 minute break. They had only been open for an hour and are already closed, even though store hours said they're open. So my wife and kids and I waited as she walked in and out, not trying to acknowledge us. Super weird experience really bad customer service. We've been coming all the time and this is the first time we've ever experienced this.
