    Pandan Ice Cream
    Long T.

Craving dessert randomly late one Tuesday night and stumbled upon this nice dessert cafe while on the area. It's a nice sized store with plenty of tables inside and some stool seating that faces out to a busy street which is always nice to watch cars drive. The vibe was very chill and mellow at the time i went, great for reading a book or bringing your laptop to study. This place offers a variety of teas, coffees, ice creams, cakes, and croffles on their menu to name a few. I went with a single scoop of their Pandan Ice Cream which costs $5.50, but you get 5% off if you pay by cash or venmo. The service was very quick and the server who brought my ice cream out to my table was friendly. The single scoop was a generous portion and it came with oreos which was a nice surprise. The flavor was right on point, not too sweet, but you can still taste the pandan in each bite. I'll have to come back next time to try their other desserts!

Came back today courtesy of management to try something different. Asked for rec on what would be less foamy and more of a dark roast, so got the Vietnamese coffee hot with condensed milk. It can be summed up as what I would call an espresso. There was a votiv of something next to it which I can only say is the same thing that could have been poured all in the same cup upon serving. All in all better than my last experience, and also had their crème brûlée. I would say these two were solid, would not order the breaded things I had last time and stick to just the coffee and crème brûlée.

Sundays call for brunch aaannnddd coffee dates. I've had this spot saved for a while and finally got the chance to check it out. Parking: Free parking lot. There's a small/medium parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: The interior is very cute. They have a decent amount of indoor seating. There's a small den with a booth-ish seating. There are regular-height tables and chairs and shorter tables and chairs. It's a studious environment but also a nice spot to hangout. Service: The cashier that assisted me was simply efficient. Throughput was quick after ordering. We only waited about 12 min for everything. Drinks & dessert: The menu can be overwhelming. They offer small bites, desserts, milk teas, coffee, fruit teas, teas, yogurt, blended drinks, etc. Although the photos of the drinks look appealing, the presentation doesn't match. I was told they no longer offer drinks in a glass even if you're dining in. All drinks are in to-go cups. I got the Truffle Coffee, Vietnamese Black Coffee (with no sugar), and Egg Cream Toast. If you prefer your drinks strong and bitter, then the Vietnamese Black Coffee will be perfect for you. The bear on top is absolutely cute. Make sure you drink this properly - always let Vietnamese coffee sit and don't slurp it in two gulps. Hence why there's a lot of ice. The Truffle Coffee tasted exactly as it sounds .. I thought the flavors were okay, but I believe truffle should only stay with savory dishes lol. The egg cream itself was thick and creamy. I was expecting some fancy french toast along side with it, but it's literally just toasted white bread. Pricing: More on the expensive side for coffee in OC. I'd come back to try their other drinks bc they all sound appealing. I wouldn't get the egg cream toast again.

Came here with my dad for some coffee after lunch on his recommendation. Now my dad is very hard to please when it comes to food and drink - particularly Vietnamese coffee. He spoke very highly of this place which is all but a guaranty of quality. Sure enough, I was very satisfied with the coffee, it's on the stronger side which is perfect to me. I had iced while he had the hot. We were helped by Alisha who was very friendly. Very cozy, classic coffee shop vibe. Pay with cash / zelle / venmo for 5% off! Also free wifi so come here and enjoy some good coffee and desserts to relax or do some work.

September is an adorable cafe with plenty of seating and sweet/savory food options for studying or catching up with friends! The desserts are both made in house, and I'm normally picky about desserts but theirs are light, airy, and not too sweet which I loved. The individual decor on the drinks were the perfect cherry on top. we got their matcha cherry blossom (not too floral), tiramisu coffee (coffee base + cream top) and mango yakult (so refreshing/slightly carbonated). For foods we chose finger foods like the precut cream cheese garlic croissant and bread sticks (ham, cheese, pork belly!) with a crispy exterior. Favorites were the desserts!! I loved the berry choco mousse and passion cheesecake. We also got the oreo and tiramisu bunny since there's a buy 3 get 1 free promo! overall the price is amazing considering everythings made in house, and the staff are so sweet and attentive.

This spot is so adorable! The service was great and she was sweet to help us out. All the desserts were great and not too sweet! I absolutely love this place and will be back soon!

when I say every corner in this place is aesthetic I am not lying. Me and my fiance decided to stop by on a lil lunch date. Service was very nice and friendly, and there was lots of seating room inside. Menu was big with very aesthetically pleasing drinks. We got a biscoff latte and an iced matcha. The drinks came with these cute bear shaped ice cubes on top. we got a sampler platter w/ beef spaghetti, quail eggs, shrimp udon, bulgogi salad & garlic cheese bread & these cute hamster cheesecakes/mousse. Overall I definitely recommend this spot out for a date/study session.

Wow, the two drinks I got were so delicious that I wrote a review right away. I originally just ordered the Tornado Biscoff Latte to go, but they accidentally gave me a watermelon lychee tea too. My husband let them know it was a mistake, but they let us keep it. The Biscoff latte is strong, just how I like my coffee -- not too sweet -- and you can really taste the Biscoff in it. Every sip had yummy chunks of Biscoff. The watermelon lychee tea was also so refreshing and delicious. I would probably ask for it less sweet next time, but the flavor is perfect and captures the fruit flavors beautifully. The service was great, and the ambience is beautiful. There are great photo ops -- some ladies were even taking pictures with the décor.

An adorable cafe nestled in the heart of Westminster! The interior is absolutely adorable! Lots of plants, natural wood, and trendy furniture. There's also plenty of seating for coffee dates and lounging! In the mood for something fresh, I got their Barbie Yakult! Tart, light, and refreshing, this drink ticked off all of my boxes. Also, they have the cutest teddy bear ice molds- 10/10 for presentation!

Found this dessert place at the corner of Bolsa & Hazard that has a wide selections of drinks & some small eateries. Their desserts are decent with an interesting presentation..like their bathtub display holding an Ube dipping sauce to go with their toast. Their croffles (croissant waffles) are a bit on the dry side. But, good thing their desserts are not overly sweet! Overall service is warm. And the place is welcoming with a modern touch. Good place to hang for those with a sweet tooth!

Do they have plugs for laptops?

Yes, there are charging stations in the walls. Please ask for assistance if you need help locating.

Do you guys offer an alternative for milk, so instead of whole milk, can we replace it with oat milk?

Yes they offer oat milk, almond milk and soy milk for alternative

Is this place dine in only or is to-go available?

    Both, dine in and to-go

    Do they accept cash?

    Yes they do!

Does the place still sells the "ice cream hotpot" if so, how much is it? Because I can't seem to find it on your menu here

I went 23 days ago (and left a review) and they still had it then! It was about $30, I believe.

Do you use any peanuts/peanut products in your drinks/food?

We are a peanut free cafe. However we do have almond, so almond was processed in the same facility as peanut.

Good place for studying? Any plugs?

There's a lot of seating that would be great for studying but there are not many outlets.

I have come to Ini a couple of times whenever I stop by the Orange County area, and my graduation dinner was no exception. What makes them so unique is their perfect balance between Asian flavors and Italian classics. Everything I have tasted here has been delicious and has exceeded my expectations. Something I appreciate, besides the aesthetic interior, is their unique selection of dishes ranging from innovative pizzas, creamy and original pastas, and bright, flavorful appetizers. Here are a couple of items that I want to shout out: First, the truffle honey bread. I really appreciated the crispiness of the cheese on top and the bounciness of the fluffy bread paired with the sweetness of the honey. It creates a very balanced bite that keeps you wanting more. The raw salmon appetizer was a huge hit with our table. The citrus paired very well with the salmon itself, and even though this is a common appetizer at many fusion restaurants, they really do it right. The beef carpaccio was a great fusion dish and a wonderful nod to the Asian flavors that inspired them. This is a dish I have ordered multiple times, and it always hits the spot. Out of all the pizzas, I enjoyed the mala lamb the most. It actually was not too spicy, with a nice peppery flavor. Sometimes lamb can be a bit overpowering; however, when topped with the mala honey, everything balanced out perfectly. I also want to note that I have never seen this flavor combination anywhere else, and I think it is definitely something you need to try if you are here. The short rib gnocchi was another favorite of mine. The gnocchi was fluffy and cloud-like and paired really well with the umami-rich, savory flavor of the short rib. The meat itself was very tender and pulled apart easily, making every bite delicious. There are other dishes I could mention, but I do want to shout out the scallop risotto. This one definitely surprised me, as I am not usually a big risotto eater. I appreciated the creaminess of the rice mixed with the scallop, and even though it was a cream-based dish, it did not feel heavy at all. The service was very friendly, and everything came out in a timely manner, which I especially appreciated considering we had a big group. Overall, I will always try to find a reason to come back here, as this place really does take the cake for me when it comes to Kei concept restaurants.

We ordered 3 things - vongole pasta. Previously they offered it uni but this one had claims and shrimp. We also got the pesto and the calamari. Calamari was crispy but it also was slightly too salty and seemed to be a lot of batter. The calamari pieces were small. The pesto pasta was okay, but the pesto wasn't the traditional pesto. I couldn't put my finger on it but it must've been the dashi. The udon was cooked well though. Soft, definitely not al dente. This vongole was the biggest miss. It had a taste that we also couldn't figure out, but it was not enjoyable to eat. We left the meal very dissatisfied. The friend I went with, who has gone before, also agreed it was disappointing. As someone who hates to waste food, we were very close to leaving nearly half of each dish there. My friend ended up taking it back. Later that evening, we both were feeling off. Idk, perhaps it was a coincidence. In the end, it was a truly sad experience.

District 36 is a Vietnamese American diner serving up some classics with their own flare. This spot…read moreis located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modern meets retro interior with a solid amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by with the fam for brunch and were seated right away. For their menu, they have a good amount of options to choose from. I ended up getting the Five Spice Chicken Fried Steak and wifey for the Street Grilled Rice Plate. Everything that we had was delicious! All of the staff here, including the owners, are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely stop by to check them out if you are ever in the area!

Tried basically every spot in OC. The only one she loved is a little far out called LJ's, so I decided to gamble on District 36. I met the owners when they first opened, good people who know what they are doing. The next gen trailblazing the way for Little Saigon. Saw they added a breakfast burrito, so I called in a to-go order: sausage + bacon + avocado (Valentine's Day splurge ). Gamble paid off. She loved it. This isn't just another bacon-egg-cheese wrap pretending to be special. They use tater tots instead of regular potatoes, so you get crispy + soft instead of mush. The sausage is the real twist, Vietnamese style, like bún chả pork: slightly sweet, savory, garlicky, lightly caramelized. Then the surprise: pickled veggies inside. That acidity cuts the richness and balances the whole burrito so it eats lighter than a typical gut-bomb breakfast burrito. It ends up tasting like a true Viet-American diner take on a SoCal classic, comforting but aromatic, familiar and sooo goood. Nice to finally have a worthy breakfast burrito option closer to home.
