This is a hidden gem inside an odd Asian market. The Korean shave ice did not disappoint. We tried the injeolmi/black sesame flavor. It had mochi topping along with sweet beans. The ice was fluffy and creamy. The black sesame was so good. The large portion is perfect for two. I definitely want to try the fruit flavors next time. My partner and I went to get snow at this place and it was so good. I ordered the strawberry snow, the custard and cheese teriyaki. Loved it all! This is located in a food court or market. It's a lot of random shops inside of Vietnamese Thai and Lao food. There is a bakery and Boba shop, but just come get this shaved snow. The cheese teriyaki has mozzarella cheese. I prefer cheddar cheese ones that Somisomi has, but this was still very good. I enjoyed their doughs flavor and the custard was very packed with custard. The snow was delicious and not too sweet. The strawberries were very ripe. I saw people with a mango and it looked amazing, but I can only eat so much. The seating... while there is a lot of seats. It was very busy. When you arrive to what appears to be the correct address, and you don't see a storefront with Sweet Snow in bright neon lights or some other signage, don't be alarmed. They're actually located inside a food market with many other food stalls. I shared the regular sized Strawberry Snow Bingsu and sat at the shared tables in the center of this food hall space. The young man promptly brought over our Bingsu and within one bite, I was immediately relieved that they know how to create creamy and smooth shaved ice and not the icy bingsu other establishments serve. It's corn flake cereal with the nutty aroma of black sesame. There's extra toppings near the bottom. Strawberry: Very refreshing. The fruit was cut thinly so it was easy to spoon through. There wad a good amount of condensed milk too. We will definitely come back to try their taiyaki. They ran out when we went, but we want to try their sweet potato filling. This place is located within the food hall. Seating is shared with all of the other restaurants. It can get a little busy/chaotic. You'll need to pick up order and return trays when you're done. BEST bingsoo I've ever had! Every single fruit was fresh, perfectly ripe, and sweet. None of it was sour or unripe. You could really tell they use milk instead of mixing water for the shaved ice because it was incredibly rich and flavorful. We got the mango Bingsoo since it was also recommended by the cashier. It came with some mochi on top. The owner (I think he was older gentleman) came by our table and gave us extra topping. So nice!!! The Bingsoo itself was pretty good. I just wish there was more fruit in between the layers. I would also even suggest different topping options that can be add ons or even included. That would've made it perfect! I would be down to come back to try a different fruit next time. We got the sweet corn bingsoo (regular sized) for $12, which was actually pretty big! Prob a portion for 2-3. I liked that the sweet corn flavor wasn't overpowering and there were corn flakes spread throughout to give the dessert texture!
