What a pleasant place! The tea was amazing . I did lessen the sweetness with water. The food was so delicious. So worth it. Their attention to customers makes you feel so welcomed. A stranger "I'm assuming was the owner" lol called me by my name , I was like who this definitely not a norm in coffee shops no one ever remembers you by name. Will return for coffee and working here when in the area. Good Vibes and Music.

Mocha Cappuccino that I paid almost $7 us dollars for, it don't even taste like a mocha Cappuccino, smh ..

They charge me almost $7 us dollars for small Mocha Cappuccino, Starbucks same thing for way bigger size 2 or 3 dollars cheaper, then the lady didn't even know how to make it, normally I go to any coffeeshop ask for mocha cappuccino they make it , they don't ask me if I want it sweet or not..When I complained she said smaller coffee shops charge more than Starbucks..You scamm me today dude, but God don't like Ugly .

Spacious coffee shop to get work done, hangout, and connect with others. The cinnamon latte is my favorite!!

Decaf latte & homemade caramel apple pie... best apple pie I've ever had!

This place is such a gem! Locally and black-owned small business in the city of Compton offering high quality coffee drinks and homemade baked goods! There is also a bbq joint on site (City BBQ). Parking is available on the street and in a private parking lot at the end of the alley behind the building off Mayo. Super friendly owners and staff and high quality food and drinks! This business is always hosting community events and getting involved at a local level, so be sure to follow their socials too!

The coffee was great and I loved how it looked inside and their patio area as well.

You can tell there is so much culture and thought behind the space. The coffee selection is great, and the staff made the experience feel even more welcoming. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee, relax, study, or simply spend some quiet time. Definitely a hidden gem and a place I'll be coming back to!

There's a lot I want to say about this spot but I'm a try and keep it short lol…read more My first time visiting was this past Sunday, May 31st. I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. Great vibes and great coffee. You can even go the park right next door and get your steps in or just chill. I definitely recommend coming here. If you're passing thru the area or coming to the city, do yourself a favor and pull up. Check em' out. Grab you a coffee or something. Prices are reasonable and the community is welcoming to all individuals.

I thought it would be quiet with not many people but wuickly many people where coming and going but it was like an everyone was family. Everyone knew everyone. every time someone walked through the door everyone in the shop would say good morning and they would all make jokes and laugh. Honestly it felt like I was at a big family reunion. The food and drinks were good. but I think the community and spirit between the people working and the customers was amazing. it really brightened my day.

Been a long time customer of their Don Franciscos's coffee for many years up until this past week,…read morewhen I went to purchase my usual several cans of coffee. I looked at the can and realized they had recently SHRUNK the amount of product by 2 ounces. So while most companies have acknowledged the fact that inflation has been reduced significantly recently this company has decided to hide their price increases by shrinking the amount of product in their cans of coffee. MOST people probably don't even realize the TOTALLY DISHONEST way corporations attempt to fool people. But I as a senior citizen living on social security have to be aware of such things as I suspect many people these days have to be. But its sad when companies do it dishonestly, such as slowly raising their prices and then shrink the amount of product they put in their packages while hiding the price increases. Therefore I will no longer purchase their coffee and look for other alternative brands that treat their customers with respect and appreciation for their business.
