Continued to get worse and the following Tuesday I was running a temp between 100 and 104.  Made another appt on that Friday and explained symptoms were getting worse another BRIEF exam I was told take OTC. No additional script. It would work it's self out.  Sunday symptoms were not improving so I called to and the PA for meds.   I was told she would call back.  I called a second time and was told she would call but probably not till tomorrow. Never received a call At 8:30 I went to another urgent care. They did a thorough exam inc X-rays and determined I had early Pneumonia.  Obviously I won't be back.  I was charged 2 deductible's.  Wouldn't be a big deal except I had no relief from their exams.

Ms. Priyanka Mooney.... Is excellent! She always goes over my lab work and explains things to me if I don't understand. She ask lots of questions pertaining to my health and shows that she cares. And as a finish up to my visit. She always ask if I have any questions or concerns. And she is good to answer anything I might have I'm thankful to have her caring for me.

I even called facilities within 100 miles to see if I could have the MRI done somewhere else so I could cancel this appointment. Unfortunately, I had no luck, so I decided to keep my appointment--and I am very glad I did. I want to give credit to the entire Stone Oak office staff for turning what I expected to be a stressful experience into a very positive one. The waiting room was very comfortable, and I received a friendly greeting when I checked in. Shortly afterward, the nurse introduced herself and explained that she would be placing an IV. I told her that I am claustrophobic, had a Valium available if needed, and also have an Inspire implant. She could tell that I was very nervous and immediately reached out to Ed, the MRI technologist. Ed took the time to speak with me and explain exactly what would happen during the scan. While we were discussing the procedure, I showed him the area of concern, which was primarily my pelvis. He noticed that the MRI order was for the abdomen, which would not have properly covered the area that needed to be scanned. He recognized that the order needed to be changed from an abdominal MRI to a pelvic MRI to ensure the correct area was evaluated. Ed personally walked me to the front desk, where the receptionist contacted the ordering physician's office. I also called Dr. Rivera myself, and he was able to provide a verbal order so we could proceed with the correct MRI. The MRI itself went much better than I expected. Ed played music during the scan, and a calming voice explained when I needed to hold my breath and what to expect throughout the procedure. That made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable. Kudos to the entire Stone Oak staff! The nurse was incredibly sweet and attentive to how apprehensive I was, and Ed was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure I received the correct scan. I truly appreciate everyone who took the extra time to make sure everything was done correctly. Thank you to the Stone Oak team for turning what started as a frustrating experience into one that I can honestly give five stars.

They are qualified in many areas of medicine. The NB office is part of the larger Health Texas network in SA. Same day appointments are available for emergencies, a big deal maker for us. They have a call center that runs a back office for the staff and doctors for prescription refills, follow ups, and appointments, done with just a phone call! When nessesary accelerated specialist referrals are given also. And they know your insurance, and will work with them... so you can concentrate on your care. No worrying about follow ups, prescriptions, or the dreaded out-of-network billing nightmares. Its a very simple seamless managed Health care experience at its best, right here in NB! 5 stars!
