I am so glad I found this tree specialist on Yelp! I needed my extremely ovrrgrown bouganvillia to be taken down. It was on my deck and growing out of control into the upstairs neighbors' patio. I had several quotes and the quote from Antonio (owner of Any Time Tree Specialist) was not low or high, so it was reasonable. Antonio looked at the tree and knew right away what kind it was. He seems very knowledgeable since he has been in the business for a long time. His crew showed up at the range of time he said they would (between 8-9am). The main 2 man crew were Joey, who cut the tree, and Ken, who worked just as hard to help and clean up debris. Both were very professional, very nice and really cleaned up after themselves. At the end, a third person came with the tree grinder and they all cleaned up everything. Once they were done, you never know they were even there (except now the tree is gone). Did tree work at the residence and did damage to the fence, roof, and other plants on the ground. Didn't respond to phone calls to get work completed until I used a different phone to call and complain that the job was unfinished and that the damage was not fixed. Once the owner answered the other phone line 2 weeks later, then go the job finished and damage fixed. It was a hassle, but the tree did get thinned out. I will think twice before using them again or referring them to others with big tree jobs. read more

They trimmed a tree at my house, I wasn't completely satisfied with the results and we told the guys that day it wasn't quite what we expected. They said give it 2 weeks to see how it looks and call back if we were still unsatisfied, and they would come out and fix it. Around 2 months later the tree is growing in very unevenly so I finally called. The owner said he would send someone over to fix it within a week. I had several large pine trees in my yard that became a nuisance over time. A bit of wind and our gutters used get filled and the front yard would be covered with needles. We couldn't keep up with the cleaning and finally decided to get rid of them. I knew that this would not be an easy endeavor nor a cheap one, so I contacted a few tree removal companies. Anytime Tree specialists were the cheapest among them. Seriously, for the amount of work involved in removing these trees, it was worth every penny. Antonio gave us the quote and explained the process. He was really nice to work with. We setup for the work to start mid week and it took them over 4 days to remove everything and grind the stumps (thats for 4 - 60+ feet tall trees!!) I was at work and couldn't see the process, but I can only image how difficult it must have been. Each day they would cut down several portions of the tree, haul away the wood chips and clean up everything by the time I got there (I tried lifting one of the leftover stumps and couldn't move it) Antonio and his team are really hardworking folks and I would recommend them anytime. They: * Broke expensive flower pots. * Moved a very heavy pot on top of a sage bush planted in the ground, crushing the plant. * Did not reduce the size of pruned branches, instead simply wrenching them past potted plants, injuring a 12-year-old potted Kaffir lime tree by jerking it half out of the soil. * Pruned the top of a potted bamboo, mistaking it for part of an oak tree. * Broke a pot with a very old succulent in it, and instead of telling us, kicked it under a bench so we didn't find the plant until it was dead. * Did not clean up the leaves and small branches, leaving them strewn all over the yard and patio. * Last but not least: cut through our neighbor's tv cable, mistaking it for a branch. Avoid these people, unless you don't care about your trees and other plants. BTW: Did you notice that all the favorable reviews sound similar, and are the only ones using the guy's name? read more

Got these guys to help my trees. I have an Ash in the front than was seriously heavy one side. They came on time in the morning and got to work right away they explained what they were going to do. Now that tree looks much straighter and lighter. They also tackled a huge Walnut tree in the back. That needed a lot of work for the three arborists. There was a significant amount of dead to remove , they cut and shaped the rest of the tree beautifully. I hired Antonio to remove a very large, dangerously leaning pine tree in my yard. His price was good, and he came with a recommendation from a neighbor. Antonio assured me that they could remove the tree without damaging the underlying trees. After the first day, several of my prized birch trees had been seriously damaged. Antonio's crew promised to prune the damaged trees in an attempt to repair their shape. At the end of the job, I returned home and the trees had not been pruned. In addition, the crew had left a huge mountain of lumber in my yard. Surprising, since the contract called for removal of debris. We had agreed to keep about a cord of firewood, but this was truckloads. I called Antonio, and he agreed to send his crew back to make the necessary repairs and pick up the firewood. I was so surprised that the service they provided was awesome. Anthony came and gave me an estimate on the holiday, Labor day. The price they provided was very competitive. The day they came to do the service was one of the hottest days, however, they did not reschedule and arrived earlier. They removed a medium size tree in our backyard and its stump by hand because machine is too big to move into our backyard.
