My finance was able to find Sherwin and called him and he said he would be able to fix it THAT DAY! We got a tow truck to take us to his shop and he drove all the way to tillamook to pick up a battery and alternator for my car and once he got back he worked on it for a couple of hours and got everything back up and even noticed my oil was low and put more oil in my car. He was super sweet to us and even helped a handful of other people who had a flat tire while we were there. Not to mention it was Sunday morning when we had called him and he was in the middle of his breakfast and stopped to help us out along with other people who came across him. I have AAA, but they were not able to tow the car as it was too far down the steep embankment and was now classified as a recovery or extraction. I called Car Care Pro Tow to see if they could extract and tow it the day after the incident, and they did. Within an hour after calling, they had signage to close the road for the tow vehicle and flatbed, and to keep everyone safe. Four to five people were working on getting the truck pulled up the embankment (some came to help on their day off). The steering linkage was broken, which made it very difficult to maneuver the truck. They eventually got it pulled up the embankment and onto a flatbed, and then they towed it to my place in Pacific City. The space to pull in and out of the driveway was limited so they could not get the truck backed in straight right away. I requested that they try to get it straight in as much as possible. They spent a good 30-60 min using a crowbar to get the wheels to turn since the steering was broken, and they did eventually get it straight in. And, they did not create more damage to the truck during any part of the extraction, tow, or in parking it. I am so impressed with everyone's tenacity, strength, skill, and professionalism before, during, and after the vehicle extraction and tow. I desperately tried to get it unlocked; looked for another key, anything I could think of short of breaking a window, while waiting. My dog was inside the van, as we were getting ready to leave for the day. I had loaded him up and shut the door so I could get his water and lock up the house. Fortunately, we are parked in a relatively shaded spot and it is not too hot on the coast today. The driver (Darby, I think he said) called me back within a few minutes of being dispatched to let me know he was on his way. Less than 10 minutes later, he had pulled up and was working to get the pup out. Took him just a few short minutes to get the door unlocked. My pup was unfazed by the whole thing and I am a whole lot less panicked! Thank you so much Darby for saving the day!

This is a BMW with complex electrics, and good security measures. He arrived promptly and did an amazing job, including locating the charging lugs once the car was opened and the hood up (battery is in the rear). Something was wrong with my starter, which I had never heard of, so he popped the hood to show me. Even though he did not know where the starter was in the make and model of my car he helped me look for it and explained what it did. I think car repair companies get a lot of negative reviews on Yelp because, frankly, repairing cars is expensive and it's easy to feel crummy! I went to get my bus towed last month with them money in hand…read more Burdens would not take my money and tow my bus the next day even with nothing on the schedule. Yesterday I called burdens and they told me the city is going to have my bus impounded tomorrow and since they don't have room in their lot they are going to tow my bus to the dump. Now that I don't have the money to tow it to my families property they are going to tow it and all my possessions to the dump. I had the money last month and they wouldn't put me on the schedule for the next day. I'm really upset got nobody to turn to for help went to burdens with my last six hundred bucks and they wouldn't take it or even schedule me to be towed the next day Call it discrimination call it what u will bit they are faulty as hell.
