I asked to have hydrangea bridesmaid bouquets made and they were the worst. Like literally a flimsy stick the size of a twig. I was better off just going to publix or trader joe's and making my own. The bride bouquet was beautiful but didnt really make up for the overall disappointment. read more

The team at Anything With Plants went above and beyond my expectations. First with having a 'sneak peak' a few days before to ensure they were exactly what I wanted, and they were very open to any changes I wanted (which was only switching one flower in the boutonnière.) My fiancé ordered me a gorgeous bouquet that was filled in a beautiful black matte vase with dahlias, peonies, succulents, eucalyptus and other fillers. It was to die for! I got so many compliments! This has bothered me for almost a year so I thought writing a review may help me get over it. This was the worst floral experience I've ever had. I was very specific, even provided pictures, of exactly what I wanted for my sister's 50th birthday (rustic, natural, in all shades of pink). I'm not sure why the florist took the job becuase it was smaller than she was used to and really just seemed to irritate her all around. She didn't like that I wanted to put a 6' LED blossom tree in the middle of the table (told the Planner they were tacky). And, apparently, she had family in town that weekend so she was preoccupied and pressed for time. In fact, when I arrived at the venue that morning, the florist had already put all the flowers out before the Planner got there with the table runners (or, she though the table runners were tacky, too, and just didn't want to use them, which I'm now thinking was probably the case). So, the runners had to be placed under some flowers, and wrapped around one side of the LED blossom trees as best we could. It was OK, but definitely not right. I was told later the florist said that morning "I don't have time for this..." and just threw all the flowers out there as quick as possible. The flowers were all the wrong color and type...mostly white and very much looked like they were all just leftover from other jobs. The "pink" roses were so pale and old...already browning on the edges. Everything running down the center of the tables (the hydrangeas, roses, etc.) was already wilted at noon (party was at 6). The "climbing" greenery and flowers that were supposed to help camouflage the LED blossom tree "trunk" were absolutely pitiful. It was the least that could possibly be done...one string/vine up to the midpoint. Over $2000 for wilted, leftover flowers in the wrong colors, etc. With all these horrible reviews, I don't know how they are still in business. We are in the midst of planning another huge 50th birthday bash...definitely will not use, nor ever recommend, this florist. read more

Pam showed up with totally different flowers from what we discussed. From the beginning my daughter stated she did not want roses or color. The cross was decorated with coral roses, her bouquet was bigger than her and the cake was decorated with roses. She forgot to decorate the welcome sign and she even brought things that we had cut out of the proposal. We wrote several emails and she finally responded she would get back with us but never did. I planned my wedding from the West Coast, moved back to the East Coast 3 weeks prior to the event and was being married in yet another state. Therefore, organization and having the utmost trust in my vendors was imperative. I am not your typical younger "fly by the seat of your pants" bride. I am older and I knew exactly what I wanted, but please do not confuse this with being called a "bridezilla", lol. I provided the florist and my initial contact there, Josie with my request of Black eyed Beauty Calla Lilies MONTHS (6+) in advance of my October wedding. She proceeded to tell me there was no such thing. In hind sight, I suppose I should have taken this as a clue. Instead, I did her job for her and provided the website which was a wholesaler for the flower and she assured me that they could get them..... I provided them with all pertinent information within the required time frame, paid my bill in full well in advance and made the appointment to meet with Josie on the Thursday before my Saturday wedding to view my arrangements just in case there were any issues. I didn't want to wait until Friday to find out. We were in Jacksonville all week so we went to the Florist on Tuesday. I met with Pam, not Josie....Pam explained that I had been "handed off" to her. It took her quite sometime to find my information for us to review. Pam then proceeded to show me the WRONG flowers!!! She told me she knew these were not the right ones and I was assured that my Black Eyed Calla Lilies would be there on Thursday when I came for my appointment. Imagine how I felt when I showed up to provide them with my grandmothers handkerchief for my bouquet and to view my flowers and the flowers were still wrong! They were the SAME ones they showed me on Tuesday!!! I was then asked to pick another bouquet because they were having difficulty finding the Calla Lilies I'd requested MONTHS ago!!!! I was just supposed to PICK something else out like it was a centerpiece, not my wedding bouquet!! AND they proceeded to tell me how hard they were trying and all the phone calls they were making and how awful Pam felt, trying to make me feel bad! If they'd done it when they were supposed to we wouldn't be having this conversation! They never did get my Black Eyed Calla Lilies and they created another bouquet for me. I feel badly for Pam, she was thrown into the situation that Josie should have been accountable for. When the flowers were delivered I had ordered Pomander Balls for my flowers girls...OM gosh , not only do they weigh 3-5 lbs a piece they were falling apart right out of the box!!!!!!!!! When I called Hillary the owner after my wedding to discuss all of this I basically got to bad, so sad, "We have the right to choose another flower" and "Don't you know how heavy they are"? No, actually I don't, that's where I relied on your expertise! When I specifically identify them as being for Flower girls would you not point that out? Maybe suggest something else??? She told me they were voted #1 in The Knot by Brides for a reason and there really was no reasoning with her. 0 results for "anything plants flowers" Sorry! Doesn't look like we have any results that match your search criteria. Please check back at a later time for new listings. Guess "The Knot" doesn't know about that??!!! Hence, my longer than usual review, but I truly feel hurt and mislead. If you think you'll have difficulty obtaining flower(s) suggest earlier than TWO (2) days prior to the wedding for an alternate bouquet, the bride won't feel so deceived. Also, we look to you for advice, as in the case of little 5 year old girls carrying 3- 5 lbs flower arrangement!!! I was contacted by this company to come in for a consultation for my wedding floral needs. I agreed and met with Pam. We discussed what I wanted, and Pam told me she would put together a proposal, and call me in to go over it. She quoted me a time frame between 6 to 10 days when she would have the proposal ready. Over a month later, I called and even went in looking for her, and was told she was on vacation. She finally sent me an email saying she has the proposal. I responded to her saying that I had started looking for another florist. I honestly thought she had forgotten about me and our meeting. What was I supposed to do? She never responded to me since that email. I just find that to be very unprofessional and rude. I wasted 6 weeks with this vendor, and have to find another florist to hire. If you are looking for a florist, don't waste your time here. Unless you have 6 weeks to waste waiting to here from them. read more
