This gym is walking distance to my house. I was a member there 3 years ago . Cancelled my membership due to work after one year . Tried to resign up last year. No one ever answers. Left a message., no call back. So I joined another gym. Tried to give them another chance to earn my business 3 months ago- same issue, no answer no call back. Currently with a personal trainer. I loved the location, so figured it be beneficial , Oh well. Not sure how they operate if they never answer their phone or call back. read more

I was a member here previously under the first owner who was amazing. The gym always felt very clean, and his demeanor was welcoming and accommodating. I left shortly after the new owners took over due to the place becoming an absolute dump. Dirt and dust was everywhere. The bathrooms were a complete mess and so disgusting. I recently went back to check this location out again due to it being so close to home. I spoke with Melanie who gave me a tour of the facility and could see an immediate difference compared to the last owner. The facility was CLEAN, bathrooms were spotless. It was just like the first owner who ran this facility. I've been a few times now and both Melanie, Nick and the new owners of this gym have done a fantastic job with this location. I've been a member here for a couple of years and have seen the gym go through multiple trainers and now new ownership. There have been some positive changes, but also some frustrating ones, especially considering what you get for the price. Pros: * The gym is usually quiet during non-peak hours, which is a big plus and the main reason to stay. * The new RGB lighting is my favorite upgrade and makes the space feel more modern. * The environment is generally clean and comfortable. The gym provides towels and disinfectant spray, which helps members keep equipment sanitary. Cons: * The gym has the basics covered when it comes to equipment, but for the price, the selection feels limited and somewhat dated. There are no newer or more specialized machines such as a chest-supported row, lateral raise machine, or other options that many gyms at similar or lower price points offer. * Some of the recent layout changes also feel questionable. The stretching cage and one of the newer additions (the SkiErg) take up a large amount of space without adding much value, while that space could have been used for more practical equipment. * Another downgrade has been the new attachment clips on the cable machines. They are harder to use, especially for shorter members, having seen multiple people struggle when changing attachments. Overall, this gym has a calm atmosphere and some genuinely positive improvements, but the equipment quality and recent layout choices don't quite justify the higher price compared to other gyms nearby. With a better machine selection and more thoughtful use of space, it could be a much stronger option. I really like this gym and want to see it continue to improve. I don't dislike it by any means, this review is simply meant to offer constructive feedback so management is aware of small issues that could make a meaningful difference. read more

The facility is great! The floors and bathrooms are always clean. Everything is neatly placed and has a welcoming appearance. Maybe go elsewhere if you're looking for personal training. Signed up for four sessions and each one was postponed until I decided to ask for a refund. This happened in March and I am still trying to get my refund back. read more

New owners, same old problems - or worse. With the old owners, the gym was usually pretty dirty and disgusting, a far cry from the original owner back in 2018-2020 who was amazing and kept the place spotless. But then maintenance went by the wayside. Most of the tv channels on the cardio equipment didn't work - for years and they didn't care. Now with the new owners, none of the cardio tv channel's are working, the gym is no cleaner than it was, no real updates in equipment, etc etc. Lots of fanfare, little substance. I like the small, bright space, but with a new Planet Fitness opening closer to home and half the price, and with lots of equipment and no waiting, I think it's time to finally move on. read more

The worst gym you can ever join. They deceived me, telling me it $24.5/ month. I believed them since they do not have a swimming pool, SPA, steam or classes to find out I am paying them biweekly, not monthly. Restrooms are always dirty. Ever since the new owner took over this past year, the gym has made tremendous improvements. This gym used to be a place of political violence and made it very clear they were republican-leaning. It wasn't a comfortable place and you could tell a lot of the members who went were just angry people. Now there's no indication of any political rhetoric and feels a lot safer. Nick and Elijah are doing a fantastic job on fostering a positive community. They are making physical improvements to the place by adding new amenities and improved gym equipment. They are also making social improvements by leaps and bounds. Very happy with this gym. Definitely recommend it. read more

**Photos did not post on previous review/technical error** NEW OWNERSHIP SUCKS AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!! This gym has gone to shit ever since the new owner took over from Yu during COVID lockdown. Yu used to have the gym very clean and upkept. Yu even hired professional cleaning to clean and sanitize the gym. This current owner/management has their employees clean and they do not do a great job. Toilet paper and the toilet seat gaskets are almost out of stock at nights and weekends, trash bins are overfilled and the showers are nasty. The urinal in the bathroom has been broken for months, the toilet makes a weird noise when flushed, and they replaced the nice wooden benches for some cheap plastic hospital chairs that you can barely place items on. If gym equipment breaks, it takes them a while to get it fixed. The only good things the new owner has done was paint the walls with new colors..great.... and bring in rusty ass barbells. oh almost forgot they rearranged the layout of the equipment... I was about to cancel my membership and go with Chuze or EOS until the one in Corona opens in the future. BUT...I went to an OC Anytime Fitness after work to avoid the AF Corona gym and OMG BIG difference! The OC AF gym smelled so nice as soon as I stepped in! They even had additional machines that AF Corona does not have! I noticed their little office/cubicles do not have window blinds; I have seen the Edward dude in Corona AF take females inside his office late nights with the window blinds closed...not right and suspicious! He would even take a group of friends (probably not all members?) and a dog to the gym. Dude is a liability. Better staff would be nicer, Tara was the only qualified person there but she's been gone for a while. I will be refraining from going to the Corona AF and will try to make it work at the OC location for now. Thia gym is a JOKE! Only person that gave a crap was Tara. SIGN UP SOMEWHERE ELSE! This gym has recently been very dirty. All the equipment is dusty and disgusting, and the studio floor is dirty as well. No one cleans this facility, and it's becoming very concerning. There are spider webs all over the ceilings and air filtration is not that great either. They need to hire a cleaning crew ASAP. read more

Anytime fitness in Corona is great I love that I'm able to hit my workouts and get everything done without waiting like bigger gyms. Vivian The personal trainer is great as well recommending different workouts and giving great advice. She is Also very friendly and willing to help you get to your fitness goals. I signed up at this gym for the convenience of it, but was a grave mistake. My fob kept not working for one reason or another. When I would try calling to resolve the issue, no one answered. As for the business hours, you don't always find someone between those working hours to solve your problems in person either. Finally, unprofessional! Gym quality is going downhill since the ownership transfer. Music is blasting like we are at a night club except the music is like the 80-90 music and there are so many advertisements. Contacted owner but get no response. My ears are hurting after being at the gym for an hour. They give you the cleaning bottles to disinfect but the bottles have no label and it smells odorless so it could be just water. Who knows! Just joined this gym and I absolutely love it. It doesn't look like much from outside, but inside it's full of cardio machines, a full weight room and they even have functional fitness gear which I like also. Not only is the place already immaculate, when you walk in they have little spray bottles of disinfectant and clean towels so you can bring it with you to wipe down equipment before you use it. I thought it was a nice touch especially during this difficult time. Tara who I think runs the gym is so personable and full of energy is usually there to welcome members in the morning. The owner is also equally welcoming and really seems to have genuine gratitude for his members. All in all I am throughly impressed with this place and I am glad I joined. read more

I would not recommend signing a contract. They charge me $35 a month for 18 months and if you only go to the gym one time in 12 months and try to cancel, they want to charge you the rest of the monthly fees until the full 18 months has gone by which turns out to be a HUGE waste of money and a rip off. probably a good gym if you like contracts that are non-negotiable. But not a good gym if you want to try something out and it doesn't work for you because they will hold you in your contract and charge you the full amount for the 18mos. I've joined a lot of gyms during my lifetime and most of them work with you especially if they can see that you're not utilizing their place. This place clearly only cares about the money. I have told them several times I cannot come into their location to sign. They don't provide any other option to cancel. The new ownership is horrible. They don't care about anything or their customers. They have double charged me 3 times in a row and getting a hold of them is impossible. I had to have my credit card block them from charges since every single month it was a double charge. The new owners SUCK and I really do hope they leave or pass ownership to someone else who actually cares. Bad communication, Bad management, and super bad customer care, in this gym, they don't care about members, they just care about how they can charge you more for nothing, they changed me $ 114 for 19 days membership. I started my membership (month to month membership) with them on February 28, 2020 and used the gym until they closed on March 18, 2020 (I didn't use the 30 days I already paid for),they reopen the gym in July and I wasn't informed so I walked to the gym and spoke to the manager, he told me that I wasn't informed because my month to month membership is expired already and if I want to use the gym again I will have to make a new membership, and he told me if I decide to go back he will make it up for me by giving me discount for the days I didn't use from my previous membership. I forgot about anytime fitness since then. Last week, under the new management and out of nowhere they UNFROZE my membership and they told me the paperwork wasn't done correctly by the previous management (as if this is my problem) and because of that they charged me $25 to reactive the account and $40 to cancel the membership (Correctly). really bad management/customer care skills Anytime fitness. read more

Only complaint, male Trainer was too blunt and pompous, you don't insult someone's form right off the bat, instead introduce yourself, start a conversation, listen then speak, ask about the persons physical history as this may be the reason for the displayed "incorrect form", then display what you would do differently. I have worked in this field a long time and for him to assume my lack of knowledge, or nit pick something so minuscule in my form was ignorant on his part. I understand he was trying to "help" but this type of communication gives trainers a bad rep. Focusing on bettering his communication skills and not assuming everyone is in the same box would result in a increase of PT sales, or just letting the members workout in peace. An extra set of eyes on form is very helpful, but communicating this effectively needs to be practiced or potential business will look elsewhere. read more
