Pretty good overall experience with Chuze. I have Chuze and UFC gym memberships and this one has the newer equipment, cleaner facilities, and nicer staff. Chuze does get packed during peak hours but that's why I have 2 memberships, for options. I like that they enforce the no-tripods and recording policy too. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Chuze Fitness. It seems like they add a lot of extra fees, especially if you go through insurance. First, you're only allowed to access one gym location. Second, it's pretty basic; no sauna, steam room, pool, massage bed, or gravity bed. The cost is $15 a month, with a $45 annual fee. If you want to go to a different location, it's an extra $10 transfer fee. Overall, I'm not impressed with how they try to charge for everything. If you don't have insurance and want to visit just one gym no amenities its $10, if you're looking to visit other locations its $20 not including amenities - if you want that it's an additional $30 so your saying $50 a month with annual charge of $65? It might be worth shopping around and checking out the competition, just saying. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this gym. I used to go to 24 hour fitness, but it was always extremely busy and honestly a little bit intimidating to me. I wanted to go to a gym that wasn't as large and where I felt the people were more down to earth. Chuze was perfect because it had a lot of similar amenities that I was used to. I really enjoy their sauna and I appreciate how clean the facility is as well as how helpful the staff is. There are even some other amenities like a tanning area and massage chairs that are really helpful for your post-workout. If you're looking for agym to try out in the new year, I would recommend Chuze. read more

This place makes PLENTY of money off of all of their memberships and can afford to hire more personnel in their kids club to accommodate more kids. I love the coaches of all of the fitness classes. The team training is awesome, and I also love the yoga/pilates instructor. Customer service has been great, the gym can be really busy but if you can be flexible there are slower times, my one complaint is the cleanliness in the saunas. I've been coming to this location for a while now and have to say that the condition of both of the saunas is pretty disgusting. My husband even jokes that I might catch ringworm. I heard one guy telling someone, "you know how I know they don't clean? This paper towel or wipe has been on the ground here every day this week." Twice now, I've noticed a really foul smell in the infrared sauna and it makes me think something is growing in there. The last time I tried to go in there, I didn't even make it 10 seconds before walking right back out. It's gross. This week, a lady had to point out a nail in the seat so the guy sitting next to her didn't get snagged up. Clearly nobody is going in and doing checks. Why aren't they doing daily cleanings and sanitization in there at the very least? The staff has always been super nice and friendly, in my experience. I've only gone to the smoothie bar once but the staff was great and the drink was amazing! When I'm coming in or leaving or even when I've had to ask questions a couple of times, I'm always met with a pleasant staff member. DO NOT JOIN CHUZE FITNESS IN CORONA. This place is run down, seldom clean, and a total rip-off. Management doesn't seem to enforce any of the cleanliness standards. The saunas and other equipment are a joke. Show up early morning? Good luck. They don't even bother turning them on until some employee finally wanders in and remembers. And when something does break--treadmills, ellipticals, cable machines, you name it--25-30% of the equipment is out of service at any given moment. Repairs take weeks, not days. I've seen the same "Out of Order" signs for over a month. They happily oversell memberships, so peak hours are a nightmare--wall-to-wall people, 20-minute waits for basic machines, and zero regard for member experience. The only remotely decent thing is that most of the front-desk staff is polite... while they're busy gouging you. They just jacked up the dues way beyond inflation with zero notice and zero improvements. Nice smile while they pick your pocket. Save your money and your sanity. While the stated purpose is to "verify" information, I was also asked to provide sensitive information about minors, which raised legitimate privacy concerns for me. When I attempted to discuss those concerns, I felt that Landon, the manager, was more focused on encouraging me to cancel rather than taking the time to listen to or address my questions. Annoyed today. Usually it's phone number or email to check-in and that's how it is at the Rosemead Chuze. I came to this one today (not my first visit to this location) and they needed my boyfriend to send me a buddy pass link. Sign up there with all my information again. Then they needed to scan his QR code on his phone, check my ID to make sure I'm the right person, and to take a picture of me. They said it's a new policy. They should already have my information when I first signed up into the system and then continued to sign in as email and phone number at a different location. Disorganized.... Really annoyed today. And this gym smells when you walk in. You would say it's normal because its the smell of sweat but it doesn't smell like this at the Rosemead location and they get pretty busy. Good: Amenities, cleanliness, equipment are all on point for the price. Few gym bros/instabunnies. Mostly working class people trying to keep their bodies going. Not terribly busy, even at peaks. HOWEVER: The sauna and pool are what justify your price point above local discount gyms. And you're dropping the ball here. You really need to educate your clients on sauna etiquette. Playing music/podcasts, talking on the phone, working out, holding or leaving the door open letting the heat out, leaving giant pools of sweat behind are all very common in the saunas. As is using the pool as a cold plunge after sauna without rinsing off their sweat. That last bit is just gross but the rest is marking the place as low class. Put up some signs, send emails, talk about it in client intake. A prominent sign on the doors warning people that the heat/humidity will wreck their phones would go a long way. Also: the music. Nearly everyone has earbuds in listening to their own stuff. Those that don't likely want peace and quiet. So why are you blasting music? Especially in the pool/jacuzzi area, the giant empty tiled room just becomes an echo chamber where you can't hear the person next to you talk and definitely can't focus on your swimming or just chill. read more

Started coming back to the gym after having my daughter. Felt a little scared leaving her for the first time at the kids club(She's 1). It has been the best decision! It took her about 2 weeks and now she loves going, Kids club staff is so friendly. She's excited every time we go and it is a good way to get her energy out. Group classes are great way to get over gym intimidation. I just wish there was a way to see how many slots were left for kids club capacity. There's been a few times i get turned away because they're full. Other than that awesome gym hope they keep expanding to more locations! read more

The so called lead, she says her name is "Aimee" was rude and demeaning, refused to let me in by looking up my acct. Recently Chuze updated their app which made it necessary to download a new app. Once I downloaded the new app I deleted the old app. The new app had issues and wouldn't open, so they looked up my phone number and let me in. Today I walked up and asked Amy to look up my phone number and she said I needed an ID, I said I don't have my ID but presented her with a picture ID I had in my cell which had all my info including a picture and she said it wasn't good enough. I said you have my picture in your computer when you pull up my acct and she said that wasn't good enough and needed my drivers license, I asked to talk to a manager and this is when things turned ugly. She said she was the lead, I asked to talk to someone else, then she asked me to leave. Then I asked that she cancel my membership and wanted her corporate phone number, she refused. And said she was calling the cops. Wow, this girl really has a power trip going. If you're thinking about a gym membership, steer clear of Chuze Fitness at 705 N Main St Corona, CA , they really don't care about your health and fitness and the sticker on the computer in the photo states "Chuze Kindness" apparently doesn't apply to Aimee who is now the face for Chuze Fitness! As for Aimee, she used racist remarks choosing to describe my looks as hispanic or Indian, which I am neither. This is not only racist but discrimination and hate speech as well as a hostile environment and grounds for a lawsuit. I've been coming to this gym for a while and honestly it's very disappointing. The facility is extremely dirty most of the time, equipment is not cleaned regularly, and the overall environment feels neglected. A gym should be a place where people feel comfortable working out, but it's hard to ignore the lack of cleanliness here. On top of that, the staff is often rude and unhelpful. Customer service seems to be the last priority. When members have questions or concerns, the responses are dismissive instead of helpful. Management really needs to step up. Monse, the manager, should take these concerns seriously because right now things are not being handled the way they should be. It's 2026, and there are a lot of newer gyms and stronger competition opening up. With places like EōS Fitness, LA Fitness, and 24 Hour Fitness improving their facilities and even remodeling locations, members have plenty of better options. read more

Been coming to this gym for over a year now and can say my husband and I have been content so we renewed another year. Lots of renovations in the last few months, for the better. Many more cable machines, leg machines and they replaced the cinema cardio room with a lift lab with many more squat racks, and leg machines. They also replaced the cycling room to make it another workout room which is pretty nice since it can get pretty crowded. I am assuming to be ready for the busy season coming up, so we'll see how that goes! We also use the kids club, which you get with the highest membership, but totally worth it. Never really had any issues with them, all the workers are nice and my kids always look forward to coming. Overall good gym! read more

I wanted to start swimming 5 days a week and decided to joined Chuze Fitness in Corona for the pool access only. The health risk of using a public pool has always been a concern for me but I decided to give Chuze a try. I have been a member for 3 months now and have noticed a few issues of concern. 1. Saltiness taste of the water in recent weeks. 2. Debris lingering at the bottom of the pool 3. Members exiting the sauna and steam room who are dripping in sweat and jump straight into the pool without rinsing off in the shower 4. Not pool related, but the amount of trash accumulated in the parking lot adjacent to their building seems to be a failure on behalf of Chuze Fitness property management team. Just a thought, maybe the issue noted in #1 is the reason for the issue noted in #3 I have provided feedback to the staff regarding all of my concerns in addition to a suggestion to add more signage on each sauna and steam room door reminding the members to shower before jumping in the pool BECAUSE IT'S GROSS so we will see if they respond swiftly. The poor score is because it shouldn't have gotten to this point. read more

I've been coming to Chuze for 4 years now. I'm a fitness and running coach myself and this is where I like to get my workouts in. Super disappointed to see you guy closed down the cinema room and making it lab x. That's where it's nice to get long runs done with the darker room, the treadmills being at 99 minutes, and watching a movie helps the time go by. There's plenty of area for the weights running on the treadmill out in the regular area is a lot harder to get into the zone and it maxes out at 60 minutes. :( or get some of the treadmills from team training accessible. For Team training, I attend at least once a week and love most of the coaches. If you could let Brooke know though every time I attend her class her microphone is up WAY too loud and or too close to her mouth, it makes it almost unbearable and super distracting and to also turn the music up. This location has progressively gotten worse over the years. Service is terrible, bathrooms are dirty and smell like mold, and the smoothie bar is a joke. Walked in just to get a feel for the place before joining and the vibe was so welcoming and accommodating. The staff were all knowledgeable about all the amenities and answered all my silly questions. I went for the first time to Team Training with Brooke and she was amazing! Before choosing Chuze, I explored different gyms around Corona using the free trials, but I decided to join Chuze because they were the best!!! It's clean, the staff is friendly, and they offer so many different classes. I highly recommend taking the different group fitness classes that they offer. My favorites are Mat Pilates and Les Mills Pilates, any spin class they offer, and Barre. In the future, I would like to try them all, but I'm loving my routine for now. My favorite instructor is Adria, who teaches Mat Pilates and Cycling. You can tell that she is passionate about her work and wants to help everyone reach their fitness goals. I love that she does the workouts alongside us to model and encourage. I also like Amber, who does the same and always comes up with creative workouts, just like Adria. I believe that Joshua is the manager for the fitness crew; he has subbed for our cycling class which was awesome! He kept us on track and pushed us the same way Adria always does. Once again, you can tell that all staff are passionate about what they do. I plan on keeping my membership with Chuze for next year too. I just wish they had more locations for when I travel! read more

I've been to many major named gyms around SoCal, but Chuze is my absolute favorite! The staff are the BEST and friendliest. No matter what time I go, the staff always greet me by name and even check in during a workout. There are a lot of amazing staff members, but Gregory is one I interact with the most AND exceeds expectations as a Chuze employee. The hydro massage is amazing after a workout and super relaxing. The steam room can be relaxing too after a long workout. The sauna is infrared and cleansing too. I originally got the extra benefits for the cinema workout, but use the hydro massager waayyyy more. Lines can be a bit long during the busy hours (3-7 PM), especially for smoothies. Buuut the rest of the gym is worth it. The app also tracks check-ins and the reward systems can be fun to keep track of. Overall, best gym I've been to in Corona. read more

I have had memberships with other well known gyms , including Chuze at other local locations. Chuze Fitness Corona far exceeds any experience or expectations I have ever had. The facility is always in pristine shape! Machines and equipment are clean and easily accessible, the women's locker room is always spotless and stalls stocked, but more importantly, this location always seems to put safety first! There is never a time when you don't see staff thoroughly cleaning and making sure that its members are safe. The classes are amazing, motivating, and addicting! But what makes this location so special is its staff. Every issue I've had had been handled with both professionalism and kindness. Any request from any members are met with a smile and instant assistance. I suffer from anxiety and depression and the one thing that distinguishes Chuze Fitness Corona for me, is its staff. The vibes and the consistent positivity makes this location a SAFE PLACE for me to heal my body and my soul. Lluvia's short but heartfelt morning motivations as I enter the gym make me feel BRAVE and push through my morning anxieties. BUT the main attraction for MANY people was the cinema room playing great movies with a lot of workout machines. They TORE it down. Even some of the employees were sad about it. I feel ripped off and manipulated. That was a perfect way to wind down after weight lifting. It was amazing for introverts too. If that's your way of making more people come to your gyms by removing amenities, then good luck with people staying. It was cheaper before too. I'm thinking of canceling my membership. Went in with my mom today morning and was greeted by Sadie, my mom had forgotten her phone with her ID in it and we gave Sadie my moms phone number and she asked for an ID and we let her know that she didn't have it and Sadie said "I need her ID that's our policy" which we totally understand but we were not aware since this happened previously before and we were never asked for an ID so we just thought it would be the same since we weren't aware of this new policy or ongoing policy. It seemed like Sadie wasn't going to let us in, my mom did say "don't you have my picture tho" and even asked if she can talk to someone Sadie said "they are going to tell you the same thing that they still need your ID" I tried downloading the app and everything. I was hoping she can let us in as a one time courtesy since we were unaware of the policy and now we are aware and won't happen again. After awhile she said " I will let you guys in this time". She had us waiting for awhile I'm not sure why she just couldn't say that from the beginning my mom pays monthly for her subscription and was going to get denied not even due to a payment but for not bringing her ID that's she wasn't aware of since last time nobody notified her to bring her ID next time. She proceeded to ask for my ID and my number but I'm under the buddy pass. I did tell my mom let's not make this an issue anymore because of how the way things were handled. I was surprised I had a great first experience at this Chuze Fitness. My husband and I were greeted when we arrived and Josh, the assistant general manager helped us get situated with the complimentary 7 day guest pass. He showed us around and we were shocked with how much this gym had to offer. As far as this bag policy goes... when I go to the gym I bring my bag, gloves and water. I love not having my bag because it's less I have to worry about and I can focus on my workout. Trust me when you arrive and see how many fitness machines they have and equipment, you won't need to bring anything else. They provide free lockers with automated locks (first come first serve) located on the gym floor and lockers in the locker rooms (you must provide your own key). In my opinion, if you're bringing a ton of stuff, you don't need the gym because you're bringing your own equipment. They have everything from group classes, indoor poor and a room with cardio equipment with a movie playing. Now I typically stay at a gym for an hour and a half. I was there for 3 hours!!! From the hydro massage, to the machines, then cardio and then ending in the sauna. I found my new gym! read more

There are several gyms in Corona. Pick a different one! This gym is constantly overcrowded - it's extremely hard to get on machines and the staff doesn't enforce common courtesy rules so people sit on equipment scrolling through their phones or in the circuit training area they continue to use a piece of equipment through several cycles, so it's impossible to move through the circuit in 30 minutes. The staff couldn't care less. The bathrooms are filthy, especially the showers. The showers will have the same gross dirty spots on the walls and floors for weeks. Seriously, you have lots of options. You can find something better. read more

Signed up to this gym a few months ago. Was denied a tour of the gym prior to signing up. Made me pay $20 for a day pass. Ended up signing up and was asked by the employee helping me what plan I want without going over the plans with me. How am I suppose to know what you guys offer if it's my first time there?? . Overall, the gym itself is one of the best ones around but just lack of effort and customer service from the employees. This gym is the best! Friendly and welcoming staff every time I come in for a workout. I usually come in with my family of 4 and I love how Chuze Fitness offers childcare for children 6 months to 12 years old, not only does it give us parents a break from the kids but it's also giving us a peace of mind that our kids are in good hands. Unfortunately we ended up moving to a new city recently so we're sad that we didn't get to say our final goodbyes to the wonderful staff at the kid's center.
