First time coming to this LA Fitness location in Norco becuase I like to attend Aqua Fitness. Apparently Cubby's class is quite popular and I can see why. He was very welcoming to me as a newbie and made sure I did all the movement correct and always checked in on me. His style of teaching is more of Aquat Boot Camp so you definitely get a solid workout! Julie is also good as she learned her teaching style from Cubbiy but her's isn't as intense so that's good for me as well. As for the facility, it has a good mix of equipment, including plenty of cardio machines like treadmills and ellipticals, along with a decent-sized weight area with free weights, squat racks, and resistance machines. One day I will go back to using those equipment. Parking is convenient with a large free lot right outside, so getting in and out is easy. read more

I've been a member of LA Fitness for about 6 years, and this was by far the most disappointing experience I've had with the Kids Club. While working out, I went to check on my 16-month-old through the window and saw her eating Goldfish crackers off the floor. I immediately looked for the employee supervising the children, Paris, but she was on the other side of the room focused on her phone instead of actively watching the kids. I also noticed the supervisor, Natalie, was not paying attention to what was going on in the room. At the time, I chose not to say anything because I wanted to finish my workout. However, about five minutes later when I picked up my daughter, I addressed the situation and explained that my child should never be eating food off the ground, especially considering the choking risk for a toddler. I also discovered that my daughter had a dirty diaper, and no one had contacted me to let me know. I have no idea how long she had been sitting in it, which further confirmed to me that the children were not being properly supervised. Instead of apologizing or taking accountability, Paris became defensive and argued with me, insisting she was good at her job and claiming she had only been on her phone for "30 seconds." The lack of concern and professionalism was extremely upsetting as a parent. I did speak with the manager Natalie afterward, and she handled the situation respectfully and reassured me that it would be addressed. I appreciated her professionalism, but after this experience, I am seriously reconsidering whether I feel comfortable bringing my child back to the Kids Club. read more

Hate that they removed the basketball court even with all the new equipment. We were doing ok with the equipment we had and the court was the only reason I got my son a membership. Then when the other La fitness closed it turned this location into a zoo. You have twice as many people not wiping down, re racking or picking up after themselves. It's hard to get parking even in the massive lot. The sauna is always crowded and the locker/bathroom can get gross. Wipes and paper towels constantly run out. I see the cleaners constantly cleaning but not sure they can keep up with the many people coming in and out. Pilates reformer is amazing and is a great addition. Just hate how crowded and dirty the place is starting to feel. read more

I really like this location because all of the weight racks are spaced out properly and they do a good job of cleaning and re-racking the weights. My boy Jose was very respectable within our conversation and I look forward to coming back and visiting when I am back in town. Very disappointed with what was promised and then denied. I thought the manager cared about my health and only cared about closing a contract. My attempts to solve this were initially treated with respect which turned into bullying and disrespect, especially as I am a senior. Please interact with them as you would a used car dealership stereotype and read all fine print. Do not believe anything promised verbally. Also check out on line complaints. read more

I said it once and I'll say it again this gym deserves five stars not only does this gym have everything and a new room full of updated equipment, but the staff are very helpful! You'll be amazed by the tour of the gym and the equipment that they have every time I come here no matter how packed I have not had to wait for any kind of equipment or help of any kind from the sauna to the benches to the turf area it is 100% also their protein smoothies are the best part of my workout check this place out five out of five stars. read more

I paid upfront for a 3-year membership and now they decided to close my location without any consideration for the members who specifically chose it for convenience. I picked the location in Corona because it was next to my office, now they're forcing me to drive to a farther location to this one in Norco, sit in traffic, and just "deal with it." When I called to cancel and request a partial refund for the remaining time I paid for, they flat-out refused. Didn't care. Didn't listen. Just hid behind their policy while pocketing money for a service they can no longer deliver as agreed. They make the decision. We suffer the consequences. And they keep our money. This is not a gym that values its members, it's a corporation that cares about one thing only: extracting as much money as possible before showing you the door. And honestly? It's not even worth fighting for. LA Fitness is outdated, run-down, and can't compete with modern gyms. The equipment is old, the facilities are tired, and there's reason newer gyms are taking all their members. They're a dying brand trying to survive by locking people into long contracts and refusing refunds when THEY fail to hold up their end. Do yourself a favor, spend your money somewhere that actually deserves it. read more

Since my review was deleted by LA Fitness im putting it up again! We are writing as members of your Norco location to formally report an incident that caused us to cancel our memberships. During a recent visit, we brought a family member to try out the facility using a 3-day guest pass. Our guest politely declined the mandatory tour and requested that we show them around instead, as they were not comfortable with the manager conducting it. Despite this clear and reasonable request, the manager insisted that he personally give the tour, disregarding boundaries and making our guest feel extremely uncomfortable. This caused us to leave immediately. Following this, we attempted to cancel our memberships. However, management at the Norco location repeatedly failed to answer the phone, making the process unnecessarily frustrating and unprofessional. This experience has left us with the impression that the Norco location is poorly managed and lacks respect for both guests and members. The combination of the manager's behavior and the inaccessibility of the management team directly caused the loss of our business and has damaged our opinion of the LA Fitness brand. We expect this matter to be reviewed promptly, appropriate action to be taken, and accountability enforced. read more

I really like this gym. You just have to find the right times for you because it does get pretty busy. Also the new Pilates studio is great! This is the first time I've done Pilates and the instructors have been amazing. Super patient and helpful. Courtney and Maura and my favs!!
