She has a legitimate doctor's note explicitly stating that she can no longer continue working out due to medical reasons. They are still actively charging her account. It is incredibly shameful to treat anyone this way, let alone a senior with medical clearance to stop. Love this gym! As a bit of a self-proclaimed gym rat, I have had memberships at two of our local big box gyms where I participated in classes. The most challenging classes were always packed so, we were crowded and the instructors were unable to encourage/push individuals to do our best. 9Round Corona has solved that issue. I'm able to pop in at my convenience, have each station to myself, and get plenty of individual attention from their trainers. I love my gym! I've been a member since 2018 but took a hiatus because of work and COVID. Since August 2021, have been back four times a week. It is the most efficient workout and friendly gym out there. Everyone is like a family and every workout is different. A 30-minute circuit, you can be in and out in 35 minutes, usually, and get a full-body workout, burning 300+ calories. As soon as you walk in the door, the trainer(s) shouts out your fighter name and you get 1:1 time throughout with pad drills. The trainers are all fantastic, and I really loved going when I could. But that was part of the problem. Because of my schedule, and hospital bills sucking us dry, I wasn't able to continue. So I finished out my contract called to cancel my membership in November. I was very sad about this turn of events and hoped in the future I could return. However, instead of canceling my account, my credit card was again charged, for double the amount of my usual fee. I have attempted to call, send messages through their site, and even have gone into the club numerous times over the past few months. Apparently only Joe can help me, but despite the messages the trainers claim they leave, voicemails on their system, and messages through their website, Joe has yet to contact me. One of the other trainers finally canceled my membership in late December before it charged again, but when I ask to talk to someone about reversing the charges on my card... "We will have Joe call you".​ I have now had to pay interest charges on that charge for what is going on 3 months. So it seems if you have money and can pay them, or you want to join, the customer service is spot on and response calls are instant. But when life comes pouring down on you and you have to cancel a membership. You get charged double and ignored. I am beyond disappointed in this company and won't be returning. read more

1 year Review: My time at 9Round Corona I have been going to 9Round Corona since June 28th 2017. When I started, my self confidence was low and I was not comfortable wearing even my clothing. I have lost 23 pounds since then, and gained much in muscle. Now, my confidence is higher than ever, and I am addicted to working out because of the sheer fun of 9Round, the encouragement and guidance of the trainers, and the all around environment 9Round provides. The trainers are knowledgeable in all areas: weight training, dietary lifestyle changes, mood uplifting and encouragement, intermittent fasting, weight loss, exercise safety, healing if there are injuries, the list goes on. The people who work out there are so kind, and no one is "watching" you; they are all consumed with their own work out, yet display politeness and kindness when interactions do occur. I love the workout 9Round provides: it is quick, efficient, and hits every muscle ground while getting in cardio too. The workout changes daily, so boredom isn't anything to worry about. It becomes a lifestyle, and when I did not go, it felt like something was missing in my day. When joining, the heart rate monitor called Pulse helps tremendously with keeping on track and motivation. It sends you the information of your workout for the day, and gives you a monthly report. Screens in 9Round show you your heart rate, so watching it while you workout helps you push harder. I am sad because I am moving pretty far away which is forcing me to leave the 9Round in Corona, but I love the gym so much that I will be joining the one near my new location.
