A great gym that has everything you need! I first came to try it out and I ended up loving this gym so I signed up. Billy was very personable and knowledgeable. He was able to sign me up very quickly. I absolutely love the easy accessibility with key fob or AF app and the fact that it's open 24/7. I personally enjoy that the cardio machines have live TV to watch on it. It has a very good section for powerlifters as well as everything you need for a good weight session. There is usually just a handful of people or sometimes you might even have the whole gym to yourself. There's always music playing. I appreciate also that they do play Kpop. It's a very clean gym with individual restrooms and private shower area in the restroom. Overall, a small gym that makes you feel comfortable to be there with plentiful parking. I have been working out here for about four months now. I like being able to show up and work out whenever I want without having to worry about a crowd. This isn't the biggest gym around, but they have what you need and they are not scared to get new equipment. I inquired about this gym because I have a friend that goes to another one, which let me know this is not the hole in the wall gym I thought it was. I think I contacted the owner, Dan, via the website to schedule an appointment. At the appointment he listened to my concerns and wants, then he offered me a free week. I signed up before my free week was up. I was working with an online coach at the time I signed up, so I was not interested in a consultation or anything like that. I had seen one trainer, Mo, multiple times, he is the one Dan suggested to me when I first went in. Just a couple of weeks ago I asked Dan to sign me up for a free consultation. I did a leg workout during my consultation, it did not feel like anything too strenuous, but holy smokes have I been sore! I told the trainer during our consult that I would like to see him twice a week. Dan and Mo have been great and they are really helping me to get disciplined. I definitely think you should stop in and check this place out. Don't be like me and notice it for years without a second glance. I got a chance to visit this gym using a guest pass. You can access this gym literally anytime you want. Make sure to talk to the staff to assist you with linking an app to get access to a digital key to enter the door. It's quiet and empty. And majority of the time you can finish the workouts without any disturbances. I'm an out of town powerlifter. this AF was a pleasant surprise. it has so much more for powerlifters than most AF gyms do. hack squat machines, reverse hack squat machines, deadlift jacks, a make shift deadlift platform, trap bars, and more. the deadlift bar is new'ish and has great nerling still. if your a powerlifter who's traveling, this place is a great option. The early morning crowd is polite and unobtrusive. It's a proper gym. This is coming from a lifelong gym rat. There are multiple options for working your muscle groups as well as functional strength training equipment and space. The cardio area is well stocked too. Many options. Wish it had a sauna but I'll live. Clean place. The wipes are refilled and the trash has been taken out. Oh, and the bathroom soap dispensers are filled regularly. This location is terrible. I've been to a few locations and will not return to this one. You walk in and it's so hot, I walked outside and it felt cooler outside than inside. All the machines are out dated and seem to not work very well at that. Honestly skip this if you can for the price you'd think you're going to mountain side fitness. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GYM! On June 18th, 2015, I signed up for an 18-month membership to Anytime Fitness. The agreement was active until December 17th, 2016, and I notified the company in September of 2016 that I did not wish to renew or continue the membership as I had moved away from the area. My last time attending the gym was on September 13th, 2016. I spoke with the owner, Wade Moser, after recently noticing monthly charges of $37.04 being billed to my AmEx under the company name "ABC Financial Services" (with no mention at all of Anytime Fitness), which I did not recognize. Wade confirmed via email after our conversation that the agreement ended on December 17th 2016, but said that they did not cancel the charges and instead switched me to month-to-month billing despite me cancelling the membership. I requested a refund for the unauthorized charges but I was told I would need to contact ABC Financial Services? I contacted them and they stated that there was nothing that they could do to help. I called Wade back and he said he would not do anything to resolve the situation and that I would need to "watch my attitude there bud" despite me being polite the entire time. THIS IS FRAUD! The owner confirmed that I had not attended the gym in over two years and that my agreement expired in December of 2016, yet continued to bill me and was unwilling to do anything to rectify the situation. Apparently money means more to Wade than doing the right thing. read more

Great gym for me. Been a member for 3 years and going on and off. Very clean gym and all the facilities. I have a much cheaper and closer gym to me, but it is worth it. Owners are very welcoming and seem to care about their clients, interacting w them. I for the most part keep to myself and thats ok too. I never have to wait for machines, other clients have always been respectful and plenty of parking. Those who complain about the cost and other fees I get it, its just not a good fit for you, I for one went to the $10 a month gym and it was packed, random screaming children from the day care, parking lot was completely full, even though it was huge, people waiting on machines, among many things going on at once...way too chaotic for me, at $10 like everyone and their mom has a membership now and goes after work...I would rather pay more and grateful that I can. read more

The gym is small and hot as others have stated. I didn't really do a proper tour before signing but I thought the pricing and length of contract were overpriced for what you received in return. Nevertheless, I signed up and went two days after for my first workout later in the evening and noticed that people were walking around not wearing masks. Now I don't care what your position on masks are but as is stated by AZ DHS, and considering as of January 2021, we currently have the highest infection and death rate in the country, masks are required to be worn if inside a gym. I was obviously concerned by this, particularly when one of the girls that wasn't wearing a mask was coughing so I left before my workout was complete. I called the owner, Wade, the next morning and explained my concerns and his response was "You really think masks work?" As a matter of fact, I do, considering I go to Arizona State University and have gained extensive knowledge in the field of human diseases and transmission by my great professor who is also an epidemiologist. Regardless, non-enforcement of masks violates the state's mask mandate and that's the exact reason I both cancelled my membership and reported the gym to the Arizona Department of Health Services. It seems that non-enforcement is a common issue in smaller gyms and I am happy to have signed up as a member at Lifetime Fitness who followers CDC guidance and the mandate outlined by AZ DHS. read more

I'm afraid my rating has gone down from 5-stars. I have seen members (all the ones I'm seeing not wearing masks and especially not SOCIAL DISTANCING). Just 2 days ago (1/29/2022) a Caucasian-American female member, late 40's or early 50's, disrespectful (no manners, suppose she was raised by wolves), didn't speak just practically breathed down over my shoulder while I was placing my belongings in a cubby. She could've waited 20-30 seconds, RUDE AND CONDESCENDING! I wonder if she had Covid-19, SHE WAS UNMASKED and INCHES AWAY FROM MY FACE. E WWW DISGUSTING! She violated my space! read more

So as previous reviews have noted, if you're a true gym rat avoid this place like the plague. The owner Wade is one of those white Bible thumper types that's talks with a "Oh, gee golly heck" and he knows nothing about fitness. All of this is very obvious when he CONSTANTLY will interrupt your workout to ask you why you're doing a certain movement or why you're deadlifting without shoes on. You would think that you would have to know something about weight lifting before you owned a gym, but that's not the case. Wade recently purchased pads for deadlifting but expects you to quietly set down 225lbs on them. God for big you break a steel bar or plates. Why even buy the pads? If you choose to workout here your training will be interrupted constantly by people who do not train. Oh, they're in the gym and they're doing movements, but they're not training. They're mostly doing one set and then interrupting other's workouts. The gym overall is missing a lot of equipment and you'll find yourself compensating a lot for the lack of supplies. This location is another Planet Fitness. It's only a matter of time until they ban deadlifting and put alarms on all of their weights. True gym rats beware. Edit: Since I posted this review, Wade the owner has reached out to me and offered to knock a month off of my monthly payments if I took this review down. I've been to a lot of Anytime gyms as I travel heavily, I've been to over 60 maybe up to 100, this gym is at the top 10 percent. They care and to me that matters. - good selection of ab equipment - shower rooms are first class and they even provide high quality shampoo and body wash - a dedicated area for ropes - all the free weights and machines you'd expect As you know Anytime is not a huge gym by nature, it's supposed to be smaller but it's open 24 hrs and they're across the US. Owners are difficult to deal with and unresponsive to suggestions from members. Limited equipment. For whatever reason, the gym seems to attract older women (geriatric crowd), during certain times of the day. Bottom line : atmosphere is not conducive to physical fitness - more like an elder care facility or a hotel gym. (Suggestion for gym equipment : provide walkers, canes, prune juice for the mall walkers...) I wanted to check out this place because it's literally across the street from my home. I checked out the website, Yelp and Google reviews. I could tell that the place was small and had limited equipment but I honestly didn't need much. The reviews were mixed between love it and hated it. Soooo, I thought I'd check it out for myself. I called and spoke to the male owner over the phone many months ago. I asked about the gym, size, machines/free weights offered, classes, etc. When I made a remark about the pricing his whole attitude changed. Suddenly the guy wasn't interested in the conversation and became a jerk. In a nutshell, I wasn't impressed. Rude owner and the gym is extremely overpriced at $33/mth. There is also a start up fee and a contract required for membership. While I understand Anytime Fitness is the low man on the totem pole.... No similar gym requires a start up fee or a contract anymore. Each similar gym out there offers a basic membership for $10 and is double if not triple the size. I'm all for supporting small business but it's just highway robbery in my opinion. If they got ride of the start up fee, improved customer service, removed the contract and lowered the pricing to say... $20.... I'd happily become a member. read more

I have been to over 20 Anytime Fitness gyms across the country and this one is the best. All the equipment is in excellent condition and spaced properly to conform with COVID requirements. Highly recommend! My husband and I having been going to this gym every day for about 2 months and we love it. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Wide variety of ages and fitness levels. No one showing off. Contrary to what another reviewer wrote, I have not once seen anyone interrupted while working out, nor evidence of owner being a 'bible thumper' (not sure why Christianity would be considered a negative anyway). If you are an actual gym rat, don't even bother. One Smith machine. One bench press rack. Dumbbells only go up to 100 lbs and there are several items missing for a good muscle pump. I have never been happier with a gym! Brand new, state of the art equipment (your own TV on nearly every machine!), personal showers, and a super clean atmosphere. Because it is a 24 hour gym, people come and go as they please and it is never crowded. There have been times when I had the whole place to myself! The owners are very friendly and make it a point to get to know their members. Another plus is that you can access any of the other Anytime Fitness clubs in other areas/states. This has been a huge perk for my fiancee that travels for work! You will sign a contract at Anytime Fitness, but the commitment and the price are more than worth it. Don't get lured in by the $10/ a month gyms down the street...you will get what you pay for. I highly recommend this gym :) read more
