I was disappointed with how this location handled my membership when I was dealing with an injury. I had already missed several classes due to ongoing pain and reached out to place my membership on hold while I recovered. I was surprised to learn that I would be charged a $35 fee to freeze my account, even though the reason was a legitimate injury. When I explained my situation and expressed concern about losing credits I couldn't physically use, there was little willingness to work with me or offer an alternative solution. I was then told that canceling my membership was an option, but I would still be charged despite having accumulated credits from the previous months that I was unable to use because of my injury. As a customer, that felt unfair and extremely frustrating. Experiences like this are one of the challenges with franchise locations. Policies and customer service can vary significantly from studio to studio, and unfortunately this location's approach reflects poorly on the Club Pilates brand as a whole. I have several friends who attend other Club Pilates locations throughout the Valley and have had much more accommodating experiences when dealing with injuries or membership issues. I enjoyed the workouts when I was able to attend, but the lack of flexibility and empathy during an injury has left a negative impression. read more

TWO WORDS! LIFE CHANGING! I havent enjoyed working out in about 15 years and finally something that I enjoy doing, i look forward to, and i make a priority! I feel amazing and ive only been a member for 2 months now. I am excited to see how my body changes. I should have tried pilates YEARS ago! I recommend this for anyone who has had knee injuries. Club Pilates Arrowhead is owned by the same team as Club Pilates Central Phoenix and they are truly special for several reasons: *the owners really care and value the staff & members *the instructors are the ABSOLUTE BEST!! *spacious studio w/ lots of room between reformers *all sorts of props of props from chairs to TRX to blocks! Now that I've been a member and have felt the amazing benefits of pilates, there's nothing like it!! I went from struggling to walk and function in daily activities due to injury and arthritis back to playing softball and living my normal life. The team here is the absolutely BEST!! I tried this place (maybe a different location) years ago and have been on the email list lurking for a long time. I got an email at the end of January 2021 and ended up signing up after a few emails and a phone call. Bit of back story, I haven't workout out consistently in a couple of years. The last consistent working out I did was powerlifting. I noticed that my muscles were always tight, and I would deal with it rather than stretch. Lately I have been dealing with sciatic pain. I really try to stretch but never follow through. I took my intro class last Saturday then went to classes on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. I should add that I signed up as an eight pack member and already upgraded to an unlimited membership. I feel better and keep wanting to sign up for more classes. The members in class are super nice and supportive. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I do not have an opinion on the Pilates instructors yet, but have only had classes by two different instructors. read more

After I got Covid, I had intense joint pain and swelling. I also have arthritis in my hips from teaching 1st grade for so many years and always sitting on the floor with them. I've literally been in pain for 15 years and after Covid, EVERYTHING hurt. It was unbelievable. In February, I went to a sample class at this location and was a little annoyed at how it seemed more like a sales pitch than getting to know the reformers and instructors. I still decided to give it a go and signed up for 4 classes a month. Let me just say....I am SO glad that I decided to give it a try!!!! For my first two months, I only went on Saturday mornings. The instructor Kimberly is amazing!!! She is very clear and it almost feels like she is speaking to me when she reminds us what to do and how to refine our form. After two classes, my joint pain was GONE. All. Of. It. It was funny because I would only go on Saturday for my first two months. The relief and energy I found from class would stick with me all week, then on Fridays I could feel myself start to get a little tighter in my joints again...but no pain. My body was telling my I needed to get my butt to a Pilates class. Then I would go to class on Saturday and I would be good again. Here I am, 5 months later and I feel like a completely different person. My joints are doing great. When I taught Kindergarten this summer, I was able to sit on the floor with ZERO issues. I feel like a different person. It's like Pilates reversed the clock 10 years. I now take 8 classes per month. I wish I could do more but it's tough with a teacher schedule. I have taken classes with multiple instructors. I haven't met one that I didn't like. They're all knowledgeable and patient. They all seem to just know what we need. HUGE thanks to Kimberly and Renee. They are my absolute favorites and have changed my life. No doctor visits, no medication...just Pilates and a wonderful connection to a great group of ladies. A new member of training staff at this Club Pilates, Keri, leads an excellent Center and balance stretch class, which was truly appreciated after a long European flight previous day. The class is very diversified and covers everything using the Spine fitter to just using the reformer for full body application... Keri gave one of the best classes I've ever done in this category over the last 2 1/2 years, and you can tell she gave lots of thoughtful planning into the agenda. I've loved reformer pilates for over 20 years but was disappointed in Club Pilates. Their teachers were snarky and disengaged. They make you commit to a 3 month term for any of their plans. I tried to refer a friend but she attended an intro session and a drop-in session and had a similarly wanting experience. I ended up injuring myself pretty badly there and they charged me $100 to get out of my 3-month contract. Could have been more empathetic. I'd recommend a studio where the teachers are more engaged - perhaps a place that isn't a franchise. read more

I'm almost over this place! From the time I signed up it's been nothing but a hassle. First you had to create a new email because it didn't take any "old emails from the last Club Pilates", so I had to create a new email to use the app!!! There's never any parking. Some of the instructors are NOT that good. When your paying this kind of money it matters! I can never get into a class because all the people wIth unlimited packages book them all ahead & if you have a package of 8 you have to wait until your next billing cycle to turn over to book. By that time all the unlimited people have booked up all the good instructors (which there are only 2 of them at this club. The GM Natalie tells you what you want to hear to get people to signed up like, "our classes here are not like other pilates. We are harder because of our standards" I actually heard her say this to someone! I have also heard her tell people how they only hire skilled instructors! Well I know for a fact some of the instructors are new in the field!...so some are not that good! I find her to be a bit snooty & not very truthful! And lastly their app never seems to work correctly. I'm thinking of looking else where to get a workout in for the kind off money I'm paying it's not worth the hassle. read more

After doing Pilates at LA fitness for probably 4 years consistently, as a member of Club Pilates since Sept 2020, I can honestly say he's a completely different experience and better work out. The instructors are caring, and as with any club, demonstrate a range of skills from adequate to excellence. The front desk staff is top notch, all friendly & helpful. Members of the club are generally friendly and get along well. The facility is clean and welcoming. One suggestion I have for the managers: Pls try to organize a separate set of shelving to hold property of incoming & outgoing members, maybe facing each other. to help avoiding congestion at the end of a class, when there is a scheduled class immediately follows .. LA FITNESS has re-opened however because I enjoy Club Pilates classes, I plan to continue taking classes ..which are each so different, challenging & enjoyable. read more

I love this studio. I'm new to Pilates and I have felt welcomed and well guided since starting last month. As a former dancer and yogi, Pilates is the answer to my prayers. When I started I could barely get off the floor for some of the moves, and Kimberly ( the best instructor in the world) was so encouraging that I kept coming back for more of her constant directions on how to use the correct muscles one not to hurt myself and two to gain stength. Every day I find a new challenge and I am never "unable to walk" after even the hardest class. I've been able to now go to the 1.5 classes and cardio which I thought I would never get too. I'm almost 60 y/o and haven't felt this connected to my body and in shape since I was in my 20's. Club Pilates changed my life and I am always challenged to do more and better. read more

Really disappointed in my experience here. I joined when I was 16 weeks pregnant and the manager was super sweet and explained that when the baby was born, I could put a freeze on my membership and jump back in when I was cleared to work out. She failed to explain the fee but more on that later. I really enjoyed the classes at first but none of the instructors follow the same policy for pregnant women so my workouts were very inconsistent. When I was 25 weeks pregnant, I found out that my baby was diagnosed with Tetrology of Fallot and will need immediate heart surgery after birth. My doctors appointments became more often So I wasn't able to attend classes since there aren't many in the evenings and I became stressed out about medical bills and needed to put my membership on hold. The girl told me it would be $15. Ridiculous but fine...better than paying $199 a month. A month went by and they charged me the full amount even though the studio is closed during the pandemic so I'm literally paying for something I wouldn't be able to utilize anyways! WTF! When I called explaining my situation, there was zero empathy and she just told me because I committed to 3 months I still had to pay it. If I could suggest anything, it would be a that Club Pilates explain their fees when you sign up and that when signing up pregnant women, they don't push you into the unlimited commitment because who knows what will happen during your pregnancy and this is the most vulnerable time in someone's life to be taken advantage of financially. When I'm able to work out again, I'll be attending classes at SPY in Scottsdale. read more

This business is up to monkey business. I was a charter member, was injured and could not continue. They charged my account a monthly fee. When I asked to refund my payment, they had me fill out a cancelation form. They sent a email confirming that they had replaced my fee of $127.00 to my account. The bank has no record of receiving anything from Club Pilates. This has been going on since May 23, 2021. I have made several attempts, no one has returned my call. Do I call the police for fraud? BEWARE!! I was a member of Club Pilates Arrowhead for nearly a year. When I started working again I found it hard to find an available class during my available hours, so I downgraded to 8 classes. Then I wasn't certain I could keep up this financial responsibility so I told the desk clerk I needed to cancel. She encouraged me to put the membership on pause which I did. After a month I needed to completely cancel. I expected to pay another month of $15 for the pause to meet a 30 day notice. BUT ... it was not just going to be $15. Since I had downgraded they were going to charge me a full month of the eight classes. After the desk clerk spoke with management they came back to tell me that instead of a full eight pack charge they would just charge me the $100 early cancellation fee. Despite the fact that I had been a member for almost a year they considered this canceling early because I did not complete three months of this eight pack membership. They ultimately did reduce the $100 to $85 since I had paid the $15 pause fee. They really hold firm to their contract so read carefully. They clearly have no regard for retaining customers. I quite possibly would have re-joined once my finances were more under control but with the way this was handled I would not recommend them nor join again. In addition to my experience, I had recommended somebody in their 80s to join and after a few sessions she was in pain and consulted her doctor. Her doctor told her not to continue yet she still had to pay $100 to cancel. One would think a doctor's note that this is not suitable for her would have released her from a cancellation fee. It did not. Again, buyer beware. Read the contract carefully. read more
