After being at Anytime Fitness for the past 8 months, things dramatically and instantly went downhill with new ownership. As of about one month ago, new ownership took over and their new office manager, Jordan Stephens, began running the place (into the ground). The AC was not fully on, fans were off or on lowest setting, equipment cables not lubricated, and worst of all, the equipment, bathrooms, and floors were not being cleaned properly. I emailed the corporate office and received the contact for the manager, Jordan Stephens, and wrote him an email. His response was generic and asked me to call him directly, with no phone number included. After having to hunt down the phone number and hours when he's actually in the office, I expressed that I'd been going to the gym and understand that with new management and ownership, there's a learning curve as to what is necessary to uphold and maintain a gym, as with any business. Immediately, Jordan went on the defensive and claimed that I was denying that their housekeeping was coming DAILY. I told him I don't deny that, but that they're not doing a well enough job. He kept on the defensive, and I told him I'd just send him photos. Some of those very same attached. Two weeks in a row I emailed him with no response. That is, until this morning when I received a notice from Jordan that my membership has been immediately terminated due to my disapproval in the cleanliness and hygienic standards of the gym. So, in case you are an active member and want to remain one, I recommend you not let management know about any grievances you may have, lest your membership be immediately terminated. read more

this gym is so dirty. The bathrooms look like they've collected dust for weeks. I've voiced my concerns to the management and he cussed and raised his voice at me and said he cleans the bathrooms himself everyday. Everytime I go because it's the only gym that is close enough to me to go to during my lunch break I have to get napkins and the spray sanitizer bottles to clean the bathroom myself before using it. read more

I was hesitant to join Anytime because of their high memberships. My husband wanted to join, so we both did. Immediately, I knew I had made a must. Very limited equipment and the variety of machines was minimal. In most gyms, classes are included in the monthly fee. Not here. I never saw anyone cleaning, which meant dust was visible on the machines. I noticed many times that the unisex restroom would flood out into the hallway. Gross. Something else that irked me was a young, male personal trainer who worked for the gym. I would watch him run on the treadmill and lift heavy weights, yet he always parked in the handicapped spot. Not sure how someone in such good shape has a reason to take up this spot when truly handicapped people could need it. In my opinion, this was a very douchy thing to do. The last straw was when gyms were allowed to open up slowly with restrictions during this pandemic. I walked in to the gym to cancel our accounts and saw that none of the people exercising were wearing masks. And the employees were not enforcing the rules. It was like a COVID incubator. When I cancelled, I enquired about our gym fob key deposit. I was told when joining that we would receive the deposit if we leave. Nope, I was told that this was a mistake. So, $50 EACH for the two fob keys, plus $100 each to cancel. Seriously, $300 to cancel, especially during this pandemic?! Stay away from Anytime Fitness. Again the phrase, "one-size-fits-all" does not fit here. I signed up for a membership during grand opening. Once they were finished outfitting with their equipment. I noticed it wasn't going to meet my needs. But it may meet yours. The hours are great. The location is optimal. With just looking at their equipment, Anytime Fitness mainly focuses on cardiovascular types of exercise. If you're needing weight training or weight machines, you're somewhat restricted in those options. They have limited dumbbells or other free weights. Their weight machines restrict the full range of motion. Membership is a little steep, but it's nice to have an option to go work out absolutely anytime that you want. read more

Love coming to this gym- I was really nervous to work out; it's not really my thing. But I wanted to do something better for my body. It's a smaller gym which is nice because it means all the staff know you. I really enjoy group training. It's super fun and motivating to have other people working toward a common goal. This morning, someone at this location asked me "Are you a member here?" I responded "Yes, here's my key. I'm not from here, but I'm a member here." He responded with "Someone was just wondering." Someone, huh? I'm wondering who that someone was and why they would ask such a dumb question, considering you need a ket to access Anytime Fitness facilities but whatever. This is America, so I'm not surprised. Just mentioning this here FYI. I wonder if I was someone else would this question even be asked. Hell of disrespectful if you asked me but whatever. For those who come to this location, just be forewarned. This location is clean, has some great equipment, and the showers/restrooms are great. The people? Maybe they just suck at first impressions. The worst gym in my life. The gym is very very very dirty ALL THE TIME. Especially those two bathrooms are disgusting. No staff is usually available. You still have to pay membership fee for another month (they call it as "last month") for unknown reason. read more

I've been a member at this gym for more than 6months now. Love hitting the gym with some great workout routines daily. The best thing is that this place is so open and spacious, equipments are almost always available. One can do free weights, conditioning exercises, cardio, all under one roof. The trainers are also very approachable and helpful. They guide you really well to achieve your goals (Special shout out for Apolo). read more

Best "little gym" in the area. I love how Apolo knows the members and takes time to work with/get to know everyone. I have been a member for almost a year and his demeanor has been the same. That says a lot. I do wish they would enforce the clean up after yourself rule a little more but all in all its still cleaner than any of the other ones. This is the best gym when compared to many other Places. Very Clean, Friendly staff, Decent crowd and good Personal trainers who can be able to help you in acheiving your goal. Last year when I was about leave for Army boot camp I took few personal sessions with trainer Apolo(He was a Marine) and he helped me in transforming from weak to strong man which really helped me in surviving the boot camp. I came to this location just to work out once and check it out on June 22nd and it was a very nice, and extremely clean efficient work out facility. The very nice lady manager (I didn't get her name) really was helpful. It is a smaller facility but that's it selling point is that you feel very comfortable working out with fewer people than some of the huge mega gyms where people sometimes look at you. Great Workout room! It is a bit small but it's Cleaned daily, well kept, and your neighbors there are kind and respectful.

Great management arrived at the end of her shift and she still welcomed us with a smile and took her time to register myself and two friends as well as insure we could get full access to the gym. The gym is very secure with many cameras to the point where you feel extremly safe.. also it is extremly clean and not over crowded.. has everything you need for a good work out. read more

You need to check out anytime fitness !! I went to their community class on Saturday and had to work for my brunch !!! The whole staff is so sweet, the manager was walking around and saying hello to everyone. Apollo was our group trainer , please ask for him!! I had been seeing the location on my way home from work and told my daughter's mommy is going to stop by tonight and see what they have to offer and check hours because I need something early morning. I went in and I believe they are low staff only one person working. She was in her office, brown hair in a ponytail, with a couple, door open. I walked by 3x and was willing to wait but thought it rude not to say at least, "ma'am I will be with you shortly." I work in an office where we are face to face with customers and it is simply common courtesy, also the location is extremely small and they open at 7am. love coming here - clean, quiet, and almost never have to wait for equipment. It is a small gym, and there really aren't amenities such as towel service, but it has everything I need/want in a gym. Only "complaint" would be overall size, there are only two showers (for everyone) and if membership goes up much, space is pretty limited. Otherwise, perfect for me right now, plus Anytime memberships are "all club" so you can always go to another one if you need to! read more

I joined this gym because it was less crowded than the other gyms in the area. That didn't last long. My main complaint is that they try to have group classes during peak hours. They expect people who pay for memberships to move for the class. This place is too small to have group classes. There is not a separate area/room for the class and they take up 2/3 of the mat area. Everyone else has to share what is left. I pay for a membership but people in the "class" get preference. Really? Stop trying to be a large gym. You are a small gym. That was what attracted me to this gym in the first place. You are catering to a few members at the expense of everyone else. Also the other gym members are messy. They sweat all over the free weights. Stand in front of the rack and do curls so other people can't even get access to the weights. They leave the equipment all over when they are done. One day I was working out and I walked away to get a drink of water. When I returned someone had stolen my weights. Really people? Come on! read more

Anytime Fitness Las Colinas is a great gym. I have been going since day one. Staff is always making sure things are in place and clean. I go almost everyday and Danielle, Apolo, and members are always friendly. I have joined group training and it is great. I love that I get to meet new people who encourage me to push through. Los Colinas is my home location for ATF and it is awesome! From the time I signed up with Ivan and met with Danielle until now I have had the best sessions. One of the noticeable things for me was the cleanliness of the facility, the professionalism of the staff and the willingness of support and encouragement to do what's best for me. Not to mention the 24 hour access to the facility. Which leads me to the praise of my fitness instructor Apolo. There is nothing like an instructor who allows you to work at a pace that does not threaten your health. He assist everyone in his sessions with clear and concise instruction as well as providing motivation. He puts in work and that encourages all of us.
