The one hour workout is highly effective as we go through HIIT (High intensity interval training) circuits involving a combination of weights and cardiovascular exercises. I've been seeing Joey for training for about a month now. I had a few friends that had been attending for months and had ranted and raved about the place. They invited me to check it out on numerous occasions but I opposed and made excuses: cost, no time, & I thought what I was doing (running, spin, combat classes, and soccer) was enough. Till the day came when I injured my knee. I couldn't run, I couldn't spin and I had to quit soccer. I was super sad, then lazy, and with a wedding around the corner with me as MoH I couldn't afford to sit around and do nothing. I even work at LA fitness and couldn't get motivated to do anything with fear of causing more damage to my knee. I had to do something. I met Joey and was instantly drawn in by his positive and motivating energy. One bad day later I called him up and made an appt to go in to burn off some bad energy. He worked with me and my bad knee. We talked about goals and such. He encouraged, and motivated me. I was hooked on O.P.T. We worked out a schedule and cost, smashing my excuses. That night after my first session with him, and his referral to a physical therapist, I signed up for the Pat Tillman run feeling confidant that with his help I could run pain free. Joey is so passionate about his work and his people. He puts a lot of time into his personal training sessions and is considerate of each persons need/wants/injuries. I love this place! I'll admit, I was skeptical about trying EōS Fitness based on some mixed reviews I'd heard about the brand in general. I'm from Los Angeles, where EōS recently took over several Gold's Gym locations, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, while visiting Arizona for a few days, this was the closest option--and I was honestly shocked when I walked inside. The size and capacity of this facility are incredibly impressive. It is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and you can tell the team here takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and safely. The equipment selection is a total chef's kiss. What really sold me, though, was the dedicated room tucked away in the corner with the professional lighting and mirrors for photos and filming. My private gym in LA is set up the exact same way, but it costs more than double the price of a membership here. I have three days left on my trip, and I'm genuinely looking forward to spending them at this location. If you're looking for a premium feel without the premium price tag, this is it.

I noticed that there was a promo running…read morea few days after I signed up, and I wanted to know why this was not offered to me when I signed up. So I called and spoke to a MANAGER. Rather than tell me that this promo was not running then (which he did not know for sure), he exclaims to me that the promos change every day, and they strictly only run for 24 hours. I pointed out that the current promo shows that it is good for more than 24 hours. It literally said that it was still good for 1 day, 9 hours, and 29 minutes. How can he say they ONLY run for 24 hours? He didnt like that. He kept saying that what I was describing is not correct. I asked him what promos were running the day I signed up. He then went quiet and suddenly hung up the phone. I immediately called back and spoke to another manager. He told me that what happened was unacceptable, and that their area manager would speak to him. That is great and all, but it still didnt answer my question. Now I feel disrespected and taken advantage of by this gym. They had promos running, they just refused to share them with me. They just saw dollar signs. I had already canceled my personal trainer because as I thought about it more, they have a 4-month commitment to all training, except the initial 1. That would be $800, and that's just too expensive, so I canceled after 2 days, never having used it. When I came in after canceling, the manager of personal training, Manda, was very aggressively asking why I canceled and not really accepting my reason. You could see it in her smirk. So when I realized I had been duped by her at sign up, I just canceled my entire membership. I was told I have 30 days to cancel, and I had only had it 1 week at this point. They tried to tell me that there is a cancelation fee for the membership. I explained that I will not be paying that, as I was within the first month. If I waited more than 1 month to cancel, then yes, that would make sense. Not when I canceled after a week for reasons having to do with their behavior, nothing I did. They will not ever see a dime from me after this. I do n9t recommend giving these people your money.

All other members would only have access from 12:30pm-4:30pm. My membership cycle begins the 20th of each month and they refused to issue a refund for the month. They also refused to grandfather me in for the first 20 days of January under the terms I paid for, which was full 24/7 access. Would have been fine if they let me finish out my billing month under the old terms, and then changed to the limited hours, but in this case they basically made me pay for a month I can no longer use
