Gym is filthy. All equipment are dusty sweat marks are noticeable on equipment. Staff and most people don't take the time to wipe down gym. Bathrooms haven't been stock when go in the morning. There hasn't been paper towels to wipe down equipment the past few days, there has been a non-disposable towel for everyone to use, absolutely not sanitary. I've gone to other AF Arlington, Bishop Arts and their gym are a lot cleaner. They have disposable disinfectant wipes to clean after yourself and someone actually cleaning gym. God honest opinion/fact, if you sign up for THIS gym you will NEED to cancel at this gym. There's no if, ands, or but around it. There is no scheduled employee that is on site. If you sign up, you got lucky. When it comes time to cancel your membership. For no absolute reason you will be able to. Please do not sign up at this location. Awful gym. Hidden fees everywhere and impossible to cancel. You'll end up paying roughly 75 a month after everything for a gym worth 10 a month max. They make it almost impossible to contact them and cancel. Took me months to get ahold of them. Gym isn't very clean and machines are old. I've been a member here for about 6 months after moving to the area. The price is about the same as 24 hour fitness once you factor in biweekly billing and the twice yearly fee in order to "purchase new equipment". It's small but it was close and it has the equipment that I wanted to use. After the first month I realized that 2-3 treadmills are always out of service. Constant errors, incline won't hold. Most other machines are fine. A few things have become major issues for me. The first being no one wipes any equipment down before or after use. Which is as expected with zero supervision after hours and shouldn't be an issue. However, teenage boys working out without shirts on sweating all over the benches is downright ridiculous. The other issue has to do with members who can't seem to lift under control. Letting the lat pull down bar slam 2' on your last rep is outrageous and it's done to create attention. I've seen dumbbells dropped from the waist when doing standing curls in front of the mirror and other issues. Zero consideration for other members. Zero respect for equipment that isn't yours. In summary, this gym is full of 15-20yo boys who love to get some attention. I've let the manager know a few times and it's useless. Trying to cancel for 3 months without success. read more

can't even rate the gym, this review is on the people in charge of the gym - can't get anyone to call back, reach out or reply , phones don't work, no shows on appointments to show the gym, more than once....glad I didn't cancel my membership at my current gym, I will just have to keep driving to another city to work out. Place is the worse gym ever! The name should be free walk ins. The zip tie stays on the door so anyone can walk in literally anytime. The so called manager is the rudest individual who gets mad when asked for help to sign up for a membership. Her exact words were why do you want to sign up for another membership we don't verify just walk in with a friends pass. She then stated we never check. I immediately asked how does this help with security? She the manager then stated everyone knows each other here. Wow! Keep in mind the place stays dirty and is not customer friendly. The music they play absolutely sucks. We are working out not here to rave. I've mentioned this several times to no avail. Leather on several machines is cracked and torn. And who cares about how many times ppl have scanned there fobs there are ppl that come and never hit a lick. And stop bad mouthing the prior management to the members it's unprofessional. The only reason i stay is because of my son. He is a pilot and it's convenient for him wherever he goes so we workout together. Fix the tvs or get rid of them. Horrible experience canceling my membership. I've tried for at least 6 months to cancel. The manager is a liar. She told me I couldn't get out of my contract but I refused to hear that. During COVID, I should be allowed to pay a cancelation fee and be done with this gym. There is always a cancelation fee. She admitted, she was told to advise members they had to fulfil their contract. She gave me the runaround (all of this while I'm in front of her, in her office). She gave me a number to call. I called the number, the rep advised me I couldn't cancel over the phone but had to go to the local branch. WHAT?!!! I drove back up there, she stated I had to fill out of form (I'm pissed) because it was complete waste of my time. I filled the form months ago and they are still charging me. I WOULD NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTIME FITNESS AGAIN. Neither would I recommend them to anyone. read more

Like the others say it's dirty, but don't get my started on the Tanning are. It's really not cleaned at all... you stretch out your arms while in the machine and you just feel layer and layer of sticky.. it was the first and last time I have tanned. Plus the cleaner for the tanning seems not legit... THE HEATER IS ON 24/7! I have tried to take photos, it's always in the 80s when we say something the person their says it's corporate who is in charge of the AC which is a lie. There is no reason a small gym should be between 78 on a good day and 85. If I wanted Hot yoga I would go... I would hate to see this place under a black light. I have tried over and over to give this place a chance. But after dealing with the fear of catching an STD or dying of a heat stroke. I think I will find something else. ON TOP OF THAT. All the Meat heads love to sit on the machines and not move... and YES ITS TRUE AT LEAST 1 BIKE OR STAIRS ARE CONSTANTLY BROKEN... DO NOT GO! i wish i could give zero or negative stars. it seems good from the beginning but you will quickly discover the dishonesty. owner misrepresented facilities to me and i was not made aware of broken equipment or vandalism until after i had signed contract. have made multiple attempts to cancel and am still being charged. do not go here. read more

We are new to the area and thought how convenient bc it was a mile down the road from us. Well I am so disappointed. This place is filthy and the machines are OLD, damaged, and have an "out of order" sign on some of them. The TVs on the equipment maybe work on 1/4 of the equipment. I watch how people who use the machines don't wipe them off when they are finished... totally gross!! The guy who owns/runs the place is not there consistently so it's hard to tell him a machine is down or they are out of wipes. Rap is blasting throughout the entire gym. There is one big tv in the corner that you can't see and the website says they have classes. Nope not one. One tanning booth that you can't use half the time. Don't waste your money... read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! PLEASE READ. Okay so I had canceled my member ship back in September of 2021! It's 2023 and I am still fighting to cancel and get my Money back , I'm constantly out of the state and country which makes it that much harder to cancel my membership. So I went in all the way back in 09/09/21 to cancel BOTH memberships on my account from the beginning of the year. I was told it was good , got an email saying it was canceled and later realized I was still being charged. OF COURSE they only canceled ONE of the accounts and conveniently not the one that was PAYING for them. I had to go yet again to cancel my account and was told a bunch a b.s of why I was still being charged from JACQULINE JENNINGS the general manager. I was told she was just a "sitting duck" and ultimately had no control. Over 2 months later (over a year from my first attempt) I get an email from BRIAN BARELA saying that it was again canceled and that the cancelation "fell through the cracks" with no effort from him to remedy the money that had been basically stolen from my account. Here we are in 2023 still being charged. ULTIMATELY I HAD TO CLOSE MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AND GET A NEW ONE JUST SO THEY WOULD STOP CHARGING ME! if you ask me this place a scam and purposly makes it difficult to cancel your membership. I would give this place -10 stars if I could , as at this point they have stolen over 700 dollars from me. ANYTIME FITNESS REFUND MY MONEY. I want to make sure that everybody know before they sign a contract. If you go in to cancel your membership get written documents that you have done that. If you don't they will continue to charge you even if you are not using the facilities any longer. They will not do anything to fix that either. They will talk down to you and mention to you that by the looks of you you might need to keep working out there. The general manager Mark is a condescending meat head who loves the sound of his voice and has no desire to listen to you the customer. I work customer service and have for the past 17 years. There would never be a time I would treat my customers like they have. Just beware. read more

Liked the gym... Billing was a big problem. My monthly fees were to be drafted from my account. I noticed after the first month nothing was taken out of my account i informed the manager and told me he would look into it the second month rolled around no money taken out agin....long story short i have been sent to collections. The shower room is dirty as hell , they have no aquatics and very little else for aerobic training .. Saw a tanning booth that said please check in with staff member .. Don't waist your money when there is way better gyms out there. If you end up signing up with anytime fitness make sure you READ YOUR CONTRACT THOROUGHLY! Just so you know there is a extra charge of 31 dollars per person in April and October for new equipment, ha what a joke! Maybe it gotten better I don't know but I haven't been in a while. when I did go up there was when they moved to the new location I went in a few time and I don't know were the money was going to. My guess is into some one pocket or that honeymoon the guy took. Anyways when I signed up 2 years ago they never told me I had to find out in my own. Also beware that if you put a freeze on the account for instants like being on bed rest for pregnancy, they will just add those months to the end of your contract so you will be stuck with them even longer. Men's shower is full of mold and lime, TV channels are limited, machines in bad repair, evening classes have dwindled to 0. Gym floor need cleaning for weeks. When I mentioned the TV situation to the manager she laughed and said when she fixes one thing another breaks. No apology. She walked out laughing. Checking out other gyms now.
