It's just an old building. People are extremely kind there. I'm a stay at home mom that brings 3 kids so I can be healthy and that only cost me around $85/month. For the way they take care of my kids it's worth every penny AND they even offer to watch your kids if you want to go on a date with your spouse. That's above and beyond and that's more welcoming than anything I can think of. That's very special to me. They offer programs for the kids as young as 6 months. Parking can be busy, but I haven't had to wait long for someone to walk out. Thank you guys for looking out for us with children. That greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, my experience with the personal training program and management has been extremely disappointing. I scheduled four separate welcome workout/personal training appointments. Three appointments with my original trainer were missed, and after I raised the issue with management, I was reassigned to another trainer. Unfortunately, that appointment was also missed due to a scheduling/miscommunication issue. After four unsuccessful appointments, I decided that personal training was no longer a service I was comfortable paying for. I had been prepared to spend approximately $300 per month for coaching, and I simply did not receive the level of reliability I expected from a paid professional service. What concerned me further was the response when I attempted to address the pattern. Rather than seeing meaningful accountability for repeated missed appointments, I encountered explanations about different departments and why various individuals were not responsible. I also recently registered for a group stretching class where the instructor did not show up, leaving the class waiting. My concern is not one isolated missed appointment. It is the repeated pattern of scheduled services not being provided and the lack of effective accountability when those concerns are raised. I escalated my concerns in writing to operations management and requested assistance with resolving the personal training portion of my membership. I have not received a response. I still enjoy the EōS facility itself, which is why this experience is particularly disappointing. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the personal training program or the management response to service issues at this location. I hope EōS takes these concerns seriously and improves its scheduling, communication, accountability, and follow-through for members purchasing additional services.

Nothing fancy here which is a valued quality I look for in a gym. I go to to a gym to workout not to socialize, flirt or look at myself in the mirror all day. The Lords gym is by far the perfect place to do this. This gym has all the free weights, machines and cardio equipment you need to get the job done. They even have a cardio room with a punching bag.

I have been a member of Gold's-Waxahachie for approximately 4 years along with my wife and sons. I…read morehave been a member of weight-training gyms for 45 years, in multiple states from coast-to-coast, and continue to maintain memberships at other health clubs. My point- I am not a rookie-- my experience certainly lends creditability to my comments! First, the staff at Gold's has always been courteous, and they have great clientele. And the gym is always open as scheduled, even during very inclement weather. I appreciate that dedication! I often train twice a day- cardio at lunch, weight training in the evenings. For nearly a year now, I have been using one of the stationary bikes in the cycling room for cardio at lunch when inclement weather prevents cycling outdoors. And I am currently training for a 100 mile, Century ride, so I need the miles! I am almost always alone, and leave the bike and room as found (or better!). One day, however, the room is locked, and I am told I can no longer use these bikes. I ask to see the manager. He finally finds the time to talk with me, and states "I have decided today that we are going to charge $29.99 a month to use bikes in that room." This is in addition to the monthly dues. I then ask if everyone who is in the cycling classes does so. He states that they all pay the fee. He seemed very surprised when I agreed to pay the additional monthly fee, even though I would not attend the classes--- as long as they could unlock the room when I arrived. Over the course of the year, this usage averages about 1-2 days a week- some weeks zero, others 3-5. I thought the charge was extreme- given that I may go several weeks without needing to ride indoors, but again, the convenience and lack of other options left me little choice. However- upon further investigation, I could not find one single member who joins the cycling class that pays the fee! There may be some who pay- but I know a fair amount of the regular clientele, and each of these regulars were very puzzled by the thought of an extra fee. I mentioned this to the manager. I am now waiting for the other shoe to drop.........and get my refund. This could be the final Jeopardy question, the Daily Double! (inside joke). Thanks, happy lifting, Paul M

After going for not a full month they announced they were closing and transferring us to their other gym. Which happens to be 9 miles away. So they won't break my contract bc their policy requires for the gym to be outside of 10 miles. The only reason I came to this gym is bc it was less than a mile from my house and now I wasted so much money. I did really like the gym before they announced closing. I feel like they should have disclosed that they were closing for locking me into a contract. That's super shady.
