This review is long overdue as I joined about 5 months ago in November 2023. I joined an wanted to learn how to use the equipment because anything other than the cardio equipment always intimidated me. I had an appointment with Drake an sat under the sign that says "class meets here". Many staffers were at the desk but just ignored me. Irritated After 5 minutes I walked up there to inquire why the trainer (or anyone) hasn't greeted me about the class. They looked lost and were asking one other if the trainer was showing up? After exchanging confused looks at one another, I was told he was sick and not coming in. I grabbed the managers card even before they told me. He was gonna hear about this! Thank God for Allie! She stepped in an not only gave me a tour but explained how many of the equipment worked. Thanks to her I'm not clueless about the machines. She definitely needs a raise btw, that or a promotion! I was given a free drink too at the end of it all. Shawn is my go to guy when I come in! He's great! Always greets me, always waves when I enter and depart and never takes long when I need an ankle strap. (I started bringing my own though because it is an inconvenience to have to go to the desk twice every visit to get this and bring it back!) Shawn went to another shift and dang do I miss him. The new girl that replaced him seems to always be a little spacey and her BF (or the guy that's always hanging out at the counter) shadowing over her every move. Odd.... This is an awsome gym. The manager Genesis is really on top of the game. Her assistant manager Shawn is also one of the best. This gym is by far one of the cleanest. The equipment is always in good shape. The entire staff here is incredible. There is a strong effort from the entire staff to welcome and engage with all the PF members. Not sure who is "cleaning" the showers but are are not doing any cleaning. I let someone know at the front desk that the showers were dirty on Tuesday and it is now Thursday. They need to do better this is nasty. read more

This location is good and the employees are nice for the most part but some of them seem rule oriented to the point it causes them to be rude to customers. The biggest issue I have with this location is that they have the male employees clean the women's restroom. They are all respectful and nothing has ever happened to my knowledge, but having a man in the restroom in general just makes me uncomfortable as a woman. I'd much rather deal with a slightly messy restroom. they put a sign out whenever this happens, but it still creates a frustrating situation for me and I'm sure many other women because I'm often on a time crunch when I go and this forces me to have to choose between using the restroom or going to the next activities of my day sweaty and probably smelling bad. To add to this, the last time that this happened at my gym( just today), the employee did a ridiculously long deep clean that took over a half an hour. I don't know if this is a policy the manager has or what is going on, but it causes me a lot of chaos as I had to sit there for over a half hour waiting for him to be done so I could shower. I know women work at this location so I have no idea why they have a man doing a deep clean in the women's restrooom. There are no cameras and this makes me uncomfortable. Have been a member for years. The place is always pretty clean and they have plenty of machines. Lots of TVs if that's what you're into.

The bathrooms are always clean! The staff walks around pretty regularly to clean and fill sanitizing bottles. Staff is welcoming and greets you when you arrive and leave. In general, the main floor is clean and the machines are rarely out of order. Whenever I go, the guests are good about re-racking the weights and it's not too crowded. Joined a few months back...I've noticed a lot of machines are out of order lately. Also, PF has a "no cell phones" or personal trainers on the floor policy, but I notice the two on a daily basis. Even worse, cleaning stations are out of paper towels, but we're expected to clean after If it keeps up, this gym is going downhill like other locations. They have a 30 minute full body workout area that I tried for the first time. It was great. They have the green light to start the machine then, of course, when the red light comes on, sanitize and move to the next. They also have staff going around spraying and wiping down equipment in all the areas. There are stations set up around the gym to get spray your disinfectant on a paper towel to wipe off equipment before and after use. I kept my mask on the entire time. read more

I love my gym. I'm not much of a workout person and would rather not go to the gym. When you have your walk through, you'll see that the staff really boasts the "judgement free" environment. It's true. I feel less embarrassed about run-walking on the treadmill for five minutes before I move on. Gets really crowded in those after work hours during the week. I tend to avoid those hours. The weekend afternoon hours seems to have the perfect balance of patrons for me. Also, take advantage of the free, yep I said free, group training sessions. I also like how each time I check in I receive points that add up to provide discounts for apparel and protein shakes. There are plenty of perks here. They even offer free food once a month. Last few times was pizza. Not the best post workout snack but it's the thought that counts. read more

I must say this is one of the nicer Planet Fitness in the area. It is a lot bigger than the one off of Camp Wisdom and the parking is definitely better. The employees are very nice and so far the gym's locker room is clean. It is 24 hours/7 days a week. So you definitely can work out at your convenience. The gym is pretty standard in regards to what's there. You have your basic treadmills, elliptical, bikes, rowers, stairclimber and etc. There is an area for free weights, a 30 min cardio station, and an additional area for resistance training. You have multiple televisions to look at and each machine syncs to the television you would like to watch. The gym also has two huge ceiling fans to keep everyone cool. Oh and the gym is super bright. It's almost a blinding bright but I'm okay with that. I'm a black card member so I utilized this area on yesterday. It's pretty nice. It has a small waiting area if you're waiting for the massage chairs and/or hydro massage. They have several tanning rooms. I don't tan so I am unable to give an opinion on that service. CLEAN!!! Welcoming environment with plenty of excellent equipment and friendly staff. The highlight for me is the reward of a few minutes in the massage chair and in the aqua massage bed. I am a Member of here since September 2018, I never take a shower there, until yesterday. I had the worst experience ever. When I went to take a shower, and I came back somebody open my locker (had lock) I saw two ladies ("texting probably one each other") one at my right side, other at left side. They gone together when i realized my jacket and my Iphone they were stolen. The Front desk lady do not allow me to call the police from her desk, because there are rules in the business. Whatttt?? They can see the cameras but, with a police. but they don't let you call the police. So be care full Is not secure to use the lockers there. Finally I went to my cell company and they put an alarm on my phone (after more than 40 minutes I returned with my husband) they return my jacket and my phone to the same locker. read more

When I was here I loved it. Now that I'm pregnant I no longer go. I pay 25 every month and decided to let it run out till my last month (oct) ITS DECEMBER AND THEY STILL CHARGE ME!! NEVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE EITHER!!!!! Fix it!! And when you do call their "number" you wait FOREVER for NOTHING. They don't ever answer. My wait time was under 10 minutes and it's been 40 minutes now. I will be going up there to cancel and never rejoining. Taking my money without permission. read more

This location has added to many new "rule & policies" that we as members must comply to but where does the team members work ethic and responsibilities apply to all the new things they added. For one we as member are asked to leave our backpack in lockers or not bring them. Although When we walk in the facility many other members walk right through the employees and are not told to leave them in lockers. Second we are told to clean the equipment before and after use, ummm if you would stock the towel dispensers maybe that would be very convenient for us to do so. Some Staff members have a smart mouth in particular (female with red dyed hair color & nose piercing) when told they aren't meeting their own rules/ policies for us the gym members. I believe We the member pay the employees salaries, therefore they should meet all their requirements; for us the gym members to be able meet their expectations as well. I love this place. It was my first time starting back in the gym and the staff gave such a great tour. I absolutely love how clean the place is and all that it has to offer. They have sooo many stationeries to choose from and even if it's crowded there's something to do. If you're a black card member you can use the "spa" they have. They have massage chairs and a massage waterbed! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I wish they had a sauna. I feel like my workout is complete after. I was told my membership ended a month after it actually did so I went in to cancel and they already charged me annual fee. After explaining what the guy looked like that told me the incorrect information she told me he was no longer with them, but still would not return my funds for an annual fee I shouldn't have been getting in the first place. While I was going to this gym I was fine. I have moved and do not have my card due to a car accident. I have call 4 times and no one will answer the phone so I can get my barcode number to move to a closer gym to me. This is infuriating, plus the fact that they advertise you can go to any gym but y'all can't look up barcodes between gyms is sad. It's 2019 I'm pretty sure there's tech to correct the issue. read more

Its new so everything looks and works great. I was told you can not bring belongings/gym bags on the workout floor as mine was next to the treadmill. I've been in many many gyms and that was a first. I do not do lockers as they can easily get broken into. My bag contains everything i need. Gym towel, head phones, shaker, clothes, gym towels, wallet/money/CC's, protein, etc. But all in all, its just like your typical gym but cheap! You pay for what you get. read more
