Facility is nice and clean but the showers have been out of order for almost a year now. Management needs to have that fixed

This gym has always been clean whenever I have been inside. The equipment has always been updated and the showers have been clean in excellent working order until Anytime in Southside of Santa Rosa. I spent the Holidays (like I do every year) in my hometown of Ukiah. I recently joined a gym near my house, and was at a loss now that I would be separated from my gym for nearly two weeks. After a quick Yelp-search, I found Anytime Fitness. Anytime offers two short term deals. $10.00 day pass or (better yet) a $30.00 weekly pass that includes after hours use with your own personally assigned key card. The gym is staffed by some super friendly people who are more than eager to show you around and how best to use the equipment. Speaking of the equipment, I was very impressed by how nice and updated the machines were. All were well kept and excellent working order. If you are serious about staying safe during the pandemic, don't come here. Half the members were not masked. The poor kid up front was doing his best to enforce the policy, but he should not need to police adults. Very disappointing read more

Anytime Fitness was super nice to us as out-of-town visitors! The people at World Gym were total jerks. The Redwood Health Club wanted to gouge both of us for 40 bucks a day. But Anytime Fitness was super friendly and welcoming. And my daughter and I were able to get 24 hour access for one week for a mere 30 bucks. So we were finally able to get our workouts in at a gym that was close to our motel and that had all of the equipment that we needed. The staff were friendly and professional. Gave Anytime a shot based on reviews about how friendly/welcoming the people here were. On a positive note I called them yesterday planning to get in and get information about how much a day pass cost etc. (which was $10...according to the friendly girl who answered the phone). Based on the website (and Yelp) information I didn't think to ask about gym hours. Big mistake on my part, so now I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this review instead of getting my workout in before Sunday football. Bummer. Hours on Yelp say 24/7. Walked in looking to get a visitor pass on a Sunday & guess what? They very much aren't 24/7...maybe if you're a member and don't need to use the "guest entrance". Sunday's hours are apparently "by appointment only", so I called the phone number on the door at least hoping to speak to someone. I got the answering machine which thanked me for calling Ukiah's original "24 hour fitness location". Lol. To the powers that be at Anytime Fitness, at a minimum you should post your visitor hours online and/or on Yelp...especially when people use these channels when they are traveling together this kind of information. Update your website...it's easy enough to do. One star for wasting my time in a very frustrating way. I gave one additional star for what seems to be a fair day pass rate for a gym and the friendly girl I spoke to yesterday on the phone. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I am new to the area and was looking for a gym that was 24 hours and this was the only one that was listed. I check out the website and sent a membership inquiry which I received only a conformation email and that a rep from the gym would contact me. It's been 2 weeks later and still no contact from the rep. You would think for the amount of money gyms charge, they would be better at service. Waste of time if you asked me. Prove me wrong. I LOVE this gym! It has everything needed to keep those New Years resolutions, including awesome staff that encourage and motivate! The hours are perfect for my busy schedule making it easy to work in to my routine. I also love the events that they host and participate in. As the end of my 12 month contract was approaching, I scanned it to make sure it was actually 12 month and not ongoing, since I did not want to renew. Yep, 12month. Month 13, there's the monthly fee on my bank statement!!! I called and was told there's a clause in the contract where they keep taking out the monthly fee!! And they were correct.. It's not big and bold like the other parts, tho. So 2 emails and 3 trips in person to Anytime and then one more phone call and finally it's ended. I hope. One month's fee, not the worst thing in the world. But Anytime markets itself heavily as your friendly neighborhood gym. So sneaky little clauses and foot dragging to end contracts doesn't really fit with that. Do better w your customer service, guys. The reviews on here overall aren't that good read more

Have been a member here for years. Equipment has gotten better. Staffing has improved as well.

I go here for the silver sneakers and cardio/strength training. Really enjoy it. The employees are very friendly and welcoming.

I joined about two months ago and I like it just fine. I can always get a bike and rarely have to wait for any machines and I go after work around 5pm. The gym is clean and the people are usually very nice. My only complaint is that I wish the locker / restroom was a little larger and had a designated changing room. read more

Just moved to the area, was so excited to find Amy Escobedo and Martin Gadea personal trainers at Anytime Fitness. In my home town, I had my go to gym and trainers. I was so overwhelmed trying to find my new spot. I met Amy Escobedo and Martin Gadea when I signed up and just loved them, not only do they have a great friendship, you feel right at home, and comfortable They just started a boot camp that I just fell in love with. I've worked out whole life and they know what they're doing. So come check them out, they will start a new class in a month. This one will be able to 1/2 outside since the weather will be nice. On the door to the shower: "Shower timeslots must be reserved in advance, or you may lose your shower privileges." This is not my home gym, but showers are not a "privilege". They are a service that I pay for every month. As a traveling consultant, I joined Anytime Fitness because they have the most locations across the world. I've used Anytime Fitness gyms in probably over half the states in the US. But locations having their own weird shower rules that prevent visitors from using them is both absurd and a violation of my contract with Anytime. read more

Very clean and organized. Staff is helpful and to be able to go anytime day or night and holidays is a big plus.

The gym is clean and smells good, a big plus over other gyms in the area. However, if they continue to increase enrollment then they are going to need to expand. Someone is going to get hurt. This used to be a great gym, but staffing changes have kind of ruined that. Example 1: members use a key pass through a member entrance. Nbd, but the other day I left, got to my car, and realized I had forgotten my water. I ran back, and walked in through the guest entrance just to grab my water. The guy at the front desk, who, if he'd been at all observant, had been no more than 20 feet from me the entire time I worked out, and sitting right next to the door I exited from, ran after me. Like literally ran me down demanding rudely to see my key pass. He did this as I was picking up the water bottle is left. I told him to back off please (he was standing aggressively over me). He told me I couldn't be in there unless I was a member. I just waved my key and walked out. Example 2: I was working out, and some employee who looks about 12 asked me if I might be interested in a training session. I politely said no. He seemed surprised about my no, and asked if I wanted to slim down a bit. I was boiling, and told him I was an ACSM certified trainer and the only reason I was the size I was was my enjoyment of cupcakes. He walked off. Example 3) the last three people I know who attempted to cancel memberships were treated aggressively and rudely by the staff. Just go to another gym, until this place makes staffing changes, it's not worth it. read more

Anytime Fitness is a good, no frills gym. I have been going to the one in Ukiah for several months now. Their staff is helpful, the equipment is in good shape. I love being able to go (really) early and get my workout in for the day. I also travel to Sacramento every week, and use the clubs there--nice benefit. Been to a lot of anytime fitness on the west coast be happy u have such a large one with a large layout plus there free Wieght is awesome .. Can't say anything about the staff cause I was there at 12am showers clean can't wait to stop in again read more
