I had a very disappointing experience here. When we walked in, no one acknowledged us. After we asked about getting a haircut, we were simply pointed toward the walk-in sign-in machine without any greeting or explanation. We waited for about 30 minutes while three barbers appeared to be standing around and not cutting anyone's hair. They may have been waiting for appointments, and that's completely understandable, but the least they could have done was acknowledge us, let us know what the wait would be, or explain the situation. Instead, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and it seemed like they had a chip on their shoulder. Basic courtesy and communication go a long way, and unfortunately, the customer service was very poor. We checked in with their iPad but ( waited for over 30 minutes) then we saw 2-3 people going ahead of us also with no appointment, how do I know, easy, ai heard when they just asked a barber, "you free?" and they took him in before us. not coming back, they need to work their system, everyone must check in if anything.... read more

On a number of occasions, I have walked into this barbershop and most of the barbers are distracted having conversations amongst each other or just not paying attention to the customers as they walk in. I understand that there's times when people make appointments but not one barber approached me saying hey you you'll be next or hey thanks for coming in knowing how to cut hair is a customer service industry and it seems like a bunch of little kids were just given a scissors and said just go for it. I will never go back here again. I was sitting like a fool for 45 minutes without any acknowledgement. I finally just walked out. You need to acknowledge your patrons and make them feel welcome whether they have an appointment or not. read more

First and last time coming to this shop. Would not recommend. I came in to get a haircut and it ended up taking over an hour and being completely uneven on the sides. I was so unsatisfied that I tried to fix it at home (my mistake) and ended up making it a bit worse by shaving slightly higher than intended. I went back to explain the situation and get help, and the barber said he could not fix the issue, he had to give me an entirely new hair (paying a second time for trying to fix the first cut) , taking a low drop fade to a high drop fade. I know for a fact, my mistake did not require an such a drastic change and feel like a talented barber would have cleaned up the issue, or at least kept it as close to the original cut as possible. Neither barbers helped me get the cut I wanted, nor feel understood with my request. Both times I left the shop feeling unsatisfied and upset. read more

I came in for a walk-in late on a Thursday evening. Mario was readily available and was very attentive and confident giving me the best haircut possible and that's exactly what he did! Close attention to detail and made me feel like a royalty in that chair! Not to mention one of the nicest restrooms I've ever walked into! Smelled clean and looked very fancy! This is a really nice barbershop in Montebello. I'm not sure how long it's been there but it seems established AND they have tons of great Los Angeles sports paraphernalia as a part of the motif. The shop is very clean - I showed up around 10 AM on Thursday it was about half full but I was still able to get a chair immediately even though I was walking in.
