Absolutely horrendous experience. When they came to pack our home, it took them nearly 11 hours to load the trailer. We originally were quoted for them to pack and load. After 7 hours of one packing just the kitchen and one loading, we realized they weren't going to be done anytime soon, so we jumped in to assist. After storing our stuff at their facility for a month and a half, we scheduled delivery and asked and confirmed an arrival between 12 and 1pm after we closed on our new build. 3 hours later they arrive after 3pm. After 7 hours of unloading. We were left with interior wall damage, damage to an interior door, missing legs to a bed, missing slats to two beds, missing boxes, damaged and broken washer and dryer, damaged and broken Conroe center on the dryer, dented and damaged 1 year old Cafe refrigerator, missing the shelves and all the handles and hardware from the cafe refrigerator, missing countless other items as were are still unpacking, one bed put together, 2 beds partially put together and one bed not put together at all because they somehow lost the feet to the bed, ($5,000.00 bed), left without hooking up the broken washer and dryer, not because it was broken, but because they said they didn't have time. When we questioned them about it, they literally got in the truck and took off. Then to top it all off, we have found German cockroaches in the brand we home.. we have never had any bugs in our home, until this move with this company. No one returns phone calls, they leave you hanging. The owner is as unprofessional as they come. 10 out 10 do not recommend. Buy up. Pay more. These guys are trash. read more

I had at least 80% of the job done in the garage ready to go to move to my other place. The things that I had asked for be brought upstairs. They did not really bring it upstairs even after telling them things that belong upstairs and then at my previous place they left stuff in the garage and told me they were too tired so I had to hire another company to go get the rest of the stuff and move it to the place. They just threw stuff in the garage annd didn't ask where I wanted it at or how I wanted it set up or anything. I think this is the worst experience that I've ever had with movers read more

Incredibly pleased with Apache moving. My parents moved from Central Texas to the DFW area and it was an absolute pleasure to have Tim and Jason assisting with the move. Apache was easily the most fairly priced even after the addition of a large gun safe and washer and dryer. Tim and Jason were on time, pleasant to work with and efficient. Unloading took significantly less time than expected and they even assisted with some furniture assembly with the extra time. First off, the two guys that eventually showed up and moved my stuff were great. Very friendly and professional. I would rate them 5 stars. However, the business themselves need some work. My move time was scheduled for 12:30 PM arrival. The guys didn't arrive until after 3. The guys who showed up told me that I was not part of their schedule, so they were filling in. The company knew they were significantly behind schedule with me and yet they did not proactively contact me. I reached out to them for updates but didn't hear back until after 4 PM. We ended up having to move my items well into the night, well past my expected completion time. I paid the full amount as I didn't want to have the discussion with the burned out movers. I followed up with the company, called and emailed, never heard back. Never got a reasonable offer at a discount due to their poor scheduling. I would not recommend this company. read more

We just used Apache for a short move within Lakeway. They were recommended by our realtor... I had great communication with Joey in the office and the guys who moved us were really great.. Jared kept us in the loop about show up time...Ryan and Jared did an excellent job packing our condo and moving us to our new house.. No damage.. Very thoughtful and skilled movers... I would use them again.. They even moved our plants under our patio with the big Texas freeze coming... Good experience all around... read more

Personally utilized Apache unfortunately it turned out to be a nightmare I have a missing bed frames the bottom of my bed is missing a very good lamp and lamp shade is missing and I'm not sure what else? They move my stuff from Lampasas to Houston and put in public storage the storage was not robbed and or broken in nor did anyone have any keys they either took my belongings or put them in the trash I was following them on the highway in my car they disappeared two times and I believe they had someone waiting and or a car to put my stuff in. Something very shady went on there's a lot of little things missing and I am going to pursue all the complaints that are applicable they are insured when I called their claims department they told me I didn't file in 60 days these bastards knew I was going out of state to Washington so they got me because if you don't file the claim in 60 days you're out of luck. I am alleging negligence theft and Corruption. I have proof of everything I'm alleging 100 Witnesses of my belongings pictures pictures of the antique bed and the lamp and my outdoor things that are missing this was a scam to me personally those two men need to be fired.. there is a paper trail of airline tickets storage receipts Witnesses etc etc read more

I hired Apache Movers (July 2025) after a friend recommended them, specifically requesting a mover she liked and has used multiple times. I paid the deposit, confirmed my request for the specific mover to be there, and was told "no problem." The representative also advised that for my 1-bedroom move (apartment to townhouse, 7 minutes apart in the same zip code), I would only need 2 movers. Result: The move took over 9 hours -- for a job that, in my experience (10+ similar moves), has never taken more than 5 hours. All of my belongings were fully packed before they arrived. I was courteous and helpful throughout -- even offering to assist, moving large items in my own car to speed things up, and tipping the crew 20% via Venmo. The movers themselves were polite, but the pace was extremely slow and the mover that I specifically requested was not present. The worst part: my new $3,000 Pottery Barn couch was severely damaged. It was not wrapped or protected properly. The fabric ripped in more than 5 locations, the wooden legs were chipped, and the cream-colored upholstery ended up covered in large dirt and dust marks that are not salvageable. The move itself cost over $1000 making it the most expensive move I have ever had with the 20% gratuity on top of that as well. I called Apache's office multiple times during the move to express my concerns about the time and the damage. They assured me they would "make it right." After sending them photos and a link to the exact couch, their "solution" was to offer me an $81 refund. Every upholstery expert I consulted quoted $2,000 to repair it or $1,000 for a custom cover -- far from "making it right." I'm left with a badly damaged couch, an inflated moving bill, and a frustrating customer service experience. I cannot recommend this company. read more

No messing around, wrapped and loaded my furniture, super nice guys and away we went to Sunrise Beach. Unloaded very quickly and reloaded some furniture going to storage. First they showed up with a moving trailer way to small for what I gave them itemized list for. So had to make 2 trips . Not very friendly as if they hated their job. One guy left the other guy behind to reassemble everything. So my Husband ended up helping him. The guy broke several pieces to one of my beds and was like I don't know what to tell you. I even gave a very generous tip after all of that and both guys had the nerve to discuss it in front of me how it should have been double that. We observed the Find My icon, which indicated their location, and noted that they were delayed. This situation resulted in a longer time commitment and incurred additional expenses. I hired Apache in July 2020 and their price was great, they wrapped my furniture, moved quickly up and down the four flights of stairs, and then into my house (about 30 miles away) with care and respect. I've since referred them to two other friends. I do need to add, however, while MY experience was 5 stars, my friend's experience this past weekend (Memorial Day 2024), was far from it. If Jordan will be one of your movers, refuse him and ask for someone else to come. He came in Nike slides, pants falling off of him and Slurpee in hand (which he spilled on their furniture), damaged her and her boyfriends furniture, and cursed at her as he walked off the job. Gerald, however, was wonderful and apologetic of Jordan's behavior. Overall, I'd still recommend Apache BUT because this apparently wasn't the first time Jordan has behaved this way with a client and management is aware but still employing him, it's concerning. Jordan either needs to be reprimanded and made to act professionally, or he needs to be let go. He shouldn't be sent to people's homes when he behaves this way. My friend is now worried for her safety because she complained about him and he now knows where she lives and what car she drives. This is NOT ok. read more

Yelp's recommendation to not exaggerate or dramatize the situation is moot because unfortunately, this actually happened. No one from Apache has reached out to learn more about or correct the situation outside of a response to this review hoping for my business in the future. ----------------------- Really disappointing - Unprofessional, embarrassing, sexist, unacceptable. Cannot believe I paid over $1,000 for this service and it wasn't even completed to its entirety. Movers are hired to alleviate stress of the day. Feel like I was back and forth with the owner for over an hour throughout the day with issue after issue. The business sent a crew who couldn't be less enthusiastic about being there - something about a logistical issue on their end. Understand things happen, but this is not an issue of the client's. I booked a pack + move. The group I got was irritated that it wasn't just moving, and made that very clear to me. I went as far to purchase over $100 of boxes and materials for all of us to use and received no help at all from the team. All of them showed up reeking of weed. Later I noticed the guys bouncing boxes stacked 3 high with "FRAGILE - GLASS" marked on all sides down 4 flights of stairs on a dolly. You could hear the clanking (naturally!) despite every item individually l wrapped with paper and bubble wrap. Large, wooden furniture & other bulky items were carried unwrapped and placed without mats. Brought this concern & received shrugs. I was later accused of not packing properly, which resulted in the crew leader screaming at me in the middle of my living room, attacking my character, and saying he was going to collect his payment and leave with only half my items on the truck. You can imagine what was running through my mind - are they going to drive off with my stuff?? Am I going to have to book other movers?? It was an extremely stressful and vulnerable position to be in, one a client should never experience. 1. They did not earn my trust treating my items so carelessly. Show up high, I'm going to quarterback and manage the situation because I do not trust you are paying attention. 2. They did not address or alleviate my concerns on the two incidents listed when I spoke with them, rather, they yelled at me. 3. Rather than helping with packing (like I booked, like we agreed upon with me going to get materials) they kept asking me "is this all?" "Are these all the boxes?" Even though items were still scattered about. This has resulted in me having to continue moving myself the day after the original booking. I'm so frustrated. I wish I booked ANYONE ELSE. I can't believe I'm still moving items from my previous location and having to re-coordinate move out dates. I specifically coordinated pack + move - why did they refuse both aspects at different levels?? No one helped pack, they didn't complete the move. Never seen such a lack of leadership and professionalism. The remediation throughout all of this? I was told that all correspondence had to go through my boyfriend because the crew leader didn't want to take orders from a woman (?????). Awesome. They get 2 stars for showing up. Otherwise, the move was a disaster. Let me start by saying I hav moved 3 times in the last 18 months and have used Einstein every time except they were unavailable. Not only was this an awful experience, but it was significantly more expensive than Einstein. They showed up ill equipped to properly move furniture. They advertise that they have everything to pack, wrap, assemble/dissemble furniture. They didn't have mattress covers, so my husband ran out and bought some and we wrapped our mattresses. They did have plastic wrap and in spite of me requesting several times for them to wrap our furniture, they continued to load it into a dirty plywood lined trailer hitch unwrapped. They were very nice gentleman, but very inefficient and our stuff was very roughly handled. I called the office and his only solution was to call the guys and yell at them repeatedly, which only caused further delays. I was not trying to intimidate anyone. I asked him not to call, but was rather looking for a solution to the additional time it was taking and the beating my furniture was going through, specifically my nursery and sofa that my baby puts his mouth all over (the guys loaded unwrapped furniture, then when I would repeatedly remind them I wanted furniture wrapped, they would unload it, partially wrap it, and put it back in the dirty truck, often wrapping things in dingy black moving blankets rather than plastic). The quote for my move-in was provided immediately, although I wish they had taken some more time to take a thorough inventory of my furniture, outgoing & incoming location, and set clear expectations. For example, they have a trailer truck rather than a box truck, which did not fit in the driveway and added significant time to my move, as did the elevators (outgoing) and stairs (incoming). Otherwise, Raymond and Jalen were EXTREMELY reliable, calling ahead and showing up exactly on time, packing the truck with meticulous care, and unloading very quickly. We moved recently and used Apache, it was the worst experience ever! From the time they arrived, I could tell one of the guys was already irritable. Dylan, spoke very rudely and brushed me off. It was like he only wanted to deal with the "man of the house". The other guy helping was quiet and seemed like it was maybe his first day. Dylan was bossing him and being pretty short. I brushed it off, thinking it's early on a Saturday, so maybe just having a bad start. It only got worse! They struggled getting some of our furniture and then couldn't take everything as they didn't have "enough room" in the trailer! When we booked, we clearly stated everything that needed to be moved! They also seemed rushed, Dylan commented several times about having other jobs that day. We were literally moving about 10 miles up the road! They couldn't get our fridge out and then insisted the doors be taken off, then had no tools or helped remove doors. Once we got to our new home, I opened both the front door and garage that way they had 2 entry points. We stayed near doors, instructing what went to what room. They just kept putting everything in our living room. They asked my boyfriend to go ahead and remove doors to bring in fridge. Again no tools nor helped remove to do that! We had a brand new baby and we were desperately trying to help! As my boyfriend was trying to remove doors, they continued bringing things through the door, so he had to pause on removing the door! Then Dylan got an attitude and was hateful about why he hadn't removed door!! It was it, I had enough! I spoke up and said " he was trying to, but yall kept coming through the doorway! How was he going to get it off that way?" Dylan proceeded to argue with me and began yelling at me in my home! In front of my kids and his coworker! I told him he was going to be respectful to us, we hadn't been anything but nice and patient! I stated we were paying for their services and he was being disrespectful! He told me I "wasn't paying, my boyfriend was". Which i immediately corrected and said "no, WE are paying!" His coworker had to pull him out of the house, as he was still shouting and cussing at me! I went outside to get the names, he was throwing my dining chairs out from the trailer, they were landing hard and falling over! He broke one the chairs, a coffee table leg and scratched our doorway and walls! He was awful!! I was very upset and even more so because this was not cheap!!! I used this same company about 4 years ago, both the guys( they were different guys) were so professional and did an amazing job! That's the only reason we used them again! However Dylan was the most rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional person I have met! It's a shame he brought this company down with his behavior!! Apache Movers. A company to do business with if you like dealing with unprepared, unprofessional, weak employees like Dyllon Joiner who will swear to your spouse (later found out he referred to her as a dumb b**ch outside) and yell at your spouse, IN YOUR OWN HOME. It's interesting what and how much cameras pick up . I was ready to serve some more time dealing with this kid. First of all, I should've followed my gut feeling when we received multiple calls, and received different price quotes (at least 4) and different item lists from their company. One of the quotes that was done online was suppose to reflect 20% off, but it didn't read so on the form I signed on moving day. The one on moving day was for less items, but costing more . That part, I blew off once the day went on because I just wanted to get it over with. First of all, they showed up with some little white trailer (something about the size for car transport/delivery) to move us from a 3 bed, 2 bath home to our new 5 bed 4 bath home. They ran out of space real quick and that was with me telling them not to take the washer and dryer, and some other boxes. They couldn't get the refrigerator through the door. As I've seen multiple times before, I figured they'd take one or both of the fridge doors off, or the home door itself. I pay, they figure it out. That's the point in life where I'm at that I've worked hard to be in. Anyways, Dyllon stated it would be an extra charge. Turns out, they didn't even have tools. He's there asking for tools and I'm thinking, "you mean the tools that are packed??". I had to scrounge around for some tools in my car, and removed the door. He also asked for a tape measure to measure the door because he's asking how the fridge got in the home, and I guess trying to prove a point. Again, I'm at the point where I pay, they're suppose to figure it out. I've never dealt with a moving company before like one of the employees, Dyllon, who complained about the weight of things (a mattress and end table). It's a moving company. There will heavy items that need to be lifted. The other Apache mover employee, Dean, was kind, a professional, a hard worker, and easy to deal with. My 8 year old stepson was at the door and letting them know where things go. He even said he only spoke "to the nice one" after some time when helping instruct where things go. This is also the first moving company I've dealt with that didn't wrap anything in plastic, not even our TVs, nor mattresses. I believe one of the TVs was in the back of their pick up truck. One of the mattresses is a Purple mattress, so yes, it's going to be heavy. We had another moving company, who I regret not using, who we've used for some of our rental properties and our personal home that wrapped everything. They even wrapped the mattress in a way that created handles to carry the mattress. Still not having any tools, I had to take the front door down. A door they, the company we're paying, should've taken down. While helping take the door down, Dyllon, swiped down at my hand. I had to fight with all my might to not put hands on him right here. As a reference point, there were witnesses inside and outside our home when Dyllon Joiner was yelling at my spouse. Again, cameras pick up a lot. Also, his own coworker had to get him outside which was for the best. Whatever the case was between him and my spouse, he should not be yelling at her in our house, and swearing at her outside. It was to the point where our new neighbors could easily hear and see everything. Again, cameras, cameras, cameras. Not to mention, he previously got an extra $120 in cash for all his whining, which I'm sure he didn't share with his coworker who actually deserved it. We feel like Dean did more. Anyways, due to this we will forward our experience to the realtor and investor groups we frequent. We shared a couple of the videos to a couple of those pages. They could not get all of my 3 bedroom condo in the trailer, which was very disappointing. I ended up having to move many of the things myself. After inventory, there were many broken items that were not broken before. I would not recommend this moving company. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CHEAP HOURLY PRICE I recently used this service and overall had a negative experience. I have used 4 moving services in Austin in the past couple of years and this is the only negative experience I've had. The moving rules were way more strict compared to other moving services I've used. We had many items that were "rejected" from being moved and ended up loading an entire car ourselves. - They will not take small furniture (ex: guitar stands) - They will not take curtain rods, shelving rods, or any normal furniture that is not "stackable" - They will not take stacked empty boxes - They will not take cleaned motion sensor trash cans - They will not take bags This resulted in us having to throw away furniture when there was plenty of space in their truck. Despite moving a lot of things ourselves, and having to throw good furnitures away, we still ended up paying $100 more than other moving companies for moving less things. Additionally, we had an unpleasant experience with the movers. Won't elaborate here... Other 1 star reviews explain the reasons well. read more

Not everyone has that privilege or option. Disgusting to excuse your lack of prevention with that sentiment. After telling Alijia that I would not be using this company's services, I got a phone call once I was already in bed for the night, asking if I wanted to use their services. Nope! (Since when is calling after 8pm an okay idea?) And in the past 24hrs, I've received multiple emails from different representatives (Joseph, Hilario/Lyle) questioning me for "a decision." Very obvious that this team either has the worst communication, or they intentionally harass people who rightfully don't want to use their rude services.
