This is a seat yourself type place. Came here because we had a gift card. I am not a breakfast person.. but they do start serving lunch around 10:30 so that is a good middle ground for me. $20 for steak and eggs and the portions were massive. Perfectly rare steak and over easy on the eggs. I tried an apple crepe is was very good and a big portion for 1!! Good ice coffee as well. Waited 15 minutes, no one ever greeted us or gave us menus. Watched several other tables get greeted that came in after us. We got up and asked a server for a menu and was told that someone would be with us, but after another 5 minutes and watching more people get greeted after us we left. Extremely disappointed. Coffee if you want to call it that (yesterday's most likely) could improve. The muffins taste like fish. My guess is what ever they greased the muffin tin with was old bacon grease maybe. The sausage was cold and not fully cooked. The eggs were good. I left a good tip for the waitress who was nice. The bottom line for me is that I'm never going back. read more

This is the second visit of Apazidis for my husband and I. First time, we had Bernie as our waitress and she was fantastic - personable, efficient and attentive, not to mention the food was great (baked haddock, butternut squash, sweet potato fries, cole slaw and spicy fries for hubby and I). Second time, we had Bernie again. She was yet again fantastic! Similar order and food once again was great and her friendly demeanor makes dining here such a wonderful experience. Kudos to the business for retaining great employees and having consistent quality and great tasting menu items. We will be back! read more

Atmosphere is quaint and friendly. The food though delicious was not of high-quality. The pancakes were very flat and Joey, not fluffy and area as I generally expect. The scrambled eggs were cold though the rest of my wheel was as expected temperature wise. Way too much margarine on the toast. This is a small local place where you could easily drive right by if you didnt know what to look for. The atmosphere has that down to earth and relaxing feeling. They serve more than breakfast but their speciality is by far in the breakfast field, Ive always been a breakfast fan so I would recommend their breakfast sandwiches and homefries, even their omlettes..or pancakes! My fiance and I go here every Saturday. We love the environment and the food. We've brought multiple friends here as well and they are always pleased and want to come back when they visit. We always order a green pepper, onion and feta omlette with wheat toast and home fries. The home fries are delish! Best home fries we've ever had. The crepes are also excellent. In town favorite! I love the breakfast and the dinners. Reasonably priced which is nice, great daily specials. My top picks are the clam chowder it is really good to me, frankly the one of the best around I've had and the tomato beef mac soup and love that as well, the chicken supreme excellent with mashed, gravy and butternut of course mmmm I want some now, the omelets fantastic or the eggs benedict. Had about every thing on the menu and never a complaint. It can be slow some times not often but the restaurant is always packed so that is good! I will wait for great food and means they are doing something right. The wait staff, cooks and owner are very friendly we have been going here for years. Great breakfasts of course, very friendly service, but their soups are what brings me back over and over. It's not fancy - just good, made from scratch, comfort foods. Basic salads but I've had dozens and all were crisp and fresh with homemade dressings. And they have a drive thru window for takeout! I love this place. read more

We used to love going here. We never minded the wait, but wen your waitress forgets you a handful of times, and doesn't bring all of your breakfast over, and then you have to remind her again to bring over your waffles.. Never good. Last few times we have gone the food has gone down hill. We keep trying it tho! In hopes it will get better. read more
