Harry's is wicked mental. This joint represents the apogee of the tavern bar n' grill experience. Virtually everything is mental here and on point from service, food, drinks, vibe, cleanliness, efficiency, etc. I wanna emphasize that normally I hhhh-h-haaaate the "tavern" scene but Harry's has no negatives AT ALL. Food is HOT n' FRESH AF. Everything is cooked to order and prices are wicked reasonable and there are specials to be had each day. The staff is VERY efficient and friendly as hell. Menu selection is diverse and best of all has no tree-hugger "healthy option" gluten-free vegan crap. This is serious food for level-three hangry eaters who welcome thunder thighs and kankles. The vibe is great and the wooden construction attenuates sound wicked good and makes it acoustically sensible. My One and I have been going here for quite some time. We have never had anything a SNAFU. Drinks are great and Devin was our waitress last night and she is absolutely wonderful. Be confident that the owners and staff clearly take pride in this establishment and always aim to please in all ways. The drink menu is fun and extensive with variants on margs and 'teenys, etc. All food and drinks are scrump AF. I frequently eat at this restaurant because it belongs to the Fischer family of restaurants, they just know what they're doing when it comes to pub food. Anything on the menu is good the staff is always on point and the bar is fun when you can get a seat. If you feel like grabbing something on a weekday or weekend you can't go wrong here. At Harry's the theme is planes. Get there early on a Tuesday and get the wings. They're huge and priced right. You won't be disappointed. I just like the atmosphere and feel of the place. Had lunch on Saturday, August 9th. The roast beef sandwich was awful. I couldn't cut the sandwich in half. Had the cut pieces with a fork and knife. I gave it the benefit of a doubt. Terrible rudeness from Dan, the manager/owner & very argumentative! I've been going to Harry's since before it was even Harry's--back when it was CJ's. Tonight, I placed a takeout order in person: chicken tenders for my son and a side of onion rings. When I got home and saw the onion rings were missing, I called the restaurant just to let them know. I didn't ask for a manager, but one was put on the phone anyway. His name was Dan. At first, Dan was polite, but that changed quickly. He told me he took my order and insisted I never ordered onion rings. I told him I absolutely did, and even reminded him of the moment he asked if I wanted the basket instead--the one that includes tenders, onion rings, and fries. I told him I declined and asked for just the side of onion rings. His response? "We don't even have a basket, so I didn't mention a basket." He repeated this over and over, along with the fact that he took my order, that he was the manager (and then the owner), and that I was wrong. It was incredibly rude to be corrected multiple times as if I were making the whole thing up. For the record, the basket is on their menu--I checked. I explained that it was loud in the restaurant and that maybe one of us misheard the other. I wasn't looking for an argument; I simply wanted them to be more attentive with takeout orders. Instead, Dan became defensive, accused me of being angry over onion rings, and continued insisting I never ordered them. Then, unbelievably, he told me I shouldn't come back. After being a customer for nearly 30 years, I was stunned by how disrespectful he was. My message to Dan is simple: don't tell a customer they're wrong when they know what they ordered. I have zero interest in arguing over a $5 side of onion rings, and I certainly don't need to lie to get one. Because of the way I was treated, I won't be returning. read more

I forgot how much I loved this place!! We used to come here all the time years ago when we were dating and my husband lived nearby. Recently, we were in the area for the first time in 10+ years and decided to come visit. I'm happy to say nothing has changed and in this case, it's a good thing! The place (decor) and food is exactly as I remember it. We ordered 2 pretzels with cheese sauce to start. The cheese sauce tasted legit like it was made from real cheese and didn't come out of a jar or can like some other places serve. Then we ordered a whole belly clam basket to share that was on special. We always used to order these "baskets" that come with fries, onion rings and cole slaw. The onion rings are delicious! They are thin (which I normally don't like) but the unique batter gives them a nice crunch. The cole slaw is also perfect - so flavorful and great consistency. Don't even get me started on the homemade tartar sauce!! I wanted to dip everything I ate in my life going forward in this tartar sauce. Never had one like it and it was amazing! I think the clam bellies were covered in the same batter as the onion rings and they were excellent. The portion size was huge (and reasonably priced!) as we couldn't finish everything in the basket. We're already planning to come back more often. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try, I doubt you will leave disappointed! read more

We recently moved to Middleboro during the pandemic so we did not get a chance to explore the local spots. We did get take out from Harry's a few times and it was always great! We went once for dinner as well before the Bar was open. Well last night we went for drinks and chowder along with take out for our dependents The margarita special is crazy good!! Great aviation themed restaurant. Good portions and awesome food. It is a busy family restaurant with dining room and outdoor seating . The Reuben sandwich is fabulous. Jumbo Chicken wings are pterodactyl. Waitresses are attentive and efficient and deserving of max tipping. Beers and adult beverages are reasonable. Good mix of regulars and passers through. I have been here several times. I always walk away feeling like why did I return? There are a lot of much better places to eat in Middleborough. I recently had the ribs. They tasted like they were cooked days prior and they just put your choice of sauce over them and reheated. They were dry and not a lot of meat on them. The fries and greek salad were average. We had the quesadillas as an appetizer - not bad but nothing special. This place is busy; appears a lot of the locals like it here. Although I've never been here before, I thought I'd give it a shot after reading positive reviews. I'm glad I did! From the girl seating me, to the waitress, and the quality of the food; everything was five stars. I will definitely be going back to this place. I had steak tips with the bourbon sauce and sautéed onions. There were many things in the menu I would've ordered, because it is a diverse menu. Went here recently when we were down this way for sports, the arrival was a little rocky, they had empty tables but wouldn't sit us there because they wanted us all to have the same waitress. We were under time constraints and had hangry kids. They finally got us seated, expedited our food, waitress was wonderful and the food was excellent.
