The food was good, but the homemade muffins were big and the best ever! Our waitress Nia was Amazing and John was the owner and he was pleasant and nice asking if everything was good and if we needed anything. This place is a legit breakfast spot. Thick fluffy omelettes STUFFED with whatever you want in them. Pancakes, yummy according to my kiddos. The day we went they were having trouble with the AC. The staff were working SO HARD and being so extra polite. Bless them, because it was hot that day and I know that was hard for them. read more

Stopped in with my dad for breakfast this morning and cannot recommend this place enough! The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge (I took home half a sandwich!) Typical diners filled with locals and during tourists during the season. Some conversing about politics local news and fishing during the high season of strippers, sea bass and tuna. Staff is welcoming friendly and down to earth. Writhing minutes you are asked if you would like coffee or something else to drink. Menu is your run of mill diner menu but their specials are interesting. No loud music or TV blasting in the background. Just the chatter random conversations. Parking is simple and plenty. read more

Very good service. I think the menu prices are fairly reasonable. The food was very good. I don't eat very much these days due to weight loss surgery, so sometimes I order off the kids menu. Unfortunately there is an up charge for that. I wish there weren't! That said, the two egg omelette was massive and it was quite delicious. I got ham and Swiss. I enjoyed the home fries too. I didn't try the coffee. I definitely go back. read more

Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning. Literally knew nothing about this place just found it on my GPS when we were looking for somewhere to eat. This is definitely a very local spot. We we're seated right away. They had a nice menu with all the typical breakfast options. Food came out quickly. I had the short stack of French toast. It was delicious and came with whipped cream and strawberries on it. I also got a side of bacon which was cooked perfectly. My husband got pancakes and a blueberry muffin. He also ordered a side of hashbrowns which they forgot. But we had plenty of food so really wasn't a big deal. The kids had pancakes. All the food was great. The price was very reasonable. Waitress was very nice. I doubt I'll stumble upon this place again but if I did, I would definitely come again read more

Have Breakfast at the Nook about once a month. They never disapoint. They make different homemade hashes that notmally graces my plate. John the owner does his rounds and says hi to everyome, but the ladies are the real stars cooking and serving everyone with smiles on their faces. I highly reccomend going to the Breakfast Nook and experiencing a great meal yoirself. read more

Came here based on the reviews before heading to the Wizz waterpark. Was skeptical driving in the parking lot but this place was so good. Best pancakes that I've had in a long time. Biscuit was great as well. Waffle and potatoes were ok but the other food more than made up for it. Wish I lived closer to come back for the pancakes. read more

Well one of my favorite breakfast places has completely gone down hill fast. The last time I was there my wife and I ended up getting sick as soon as we got home from there. The home fries were like chewing on hard beef jerky with rancid oil on them and the pancakes were on a whole other level of bad. Also the bacon was old cold and greasy. And let's not forget the coffee, I have had tap water with more flavor! I honestly didn't enjoy the workers having loud obnoxious conversations with the townies seated at the counter as we couldn't even hear ourselves when talking. Unfortunately I won't be going back and I really hope that they get back to what they were like previously because it was a really good breakfast spot at one time. read more

Thanks to Yelp we found this gem. Great traditional diner feel with great home town service. My 11 year old son had the Belgium waffle with bacon and powered it down. I had the eggs with a homemade blueberry muffin that was to die for. My sister had the same but with cranberry muffin. Coffee was ok. Very reasonably priced, awesome service. read more

Just stopped by again 5/25/18 and like so many times before this place does not disappoint. I have only gone for breakfast and every single time the food is fresh, good, very fairly priced, good portions and the customer service is awesome. They also have a selection of homemade muffins! In addition the coffee is very hot and fresh:) It's exactly what the name says (Nook). It's a small mom and pop type place but they make the most of the space. There are about 10 tables and a small U-shaped bar to sit at. Definitely swing by this place if you live in the area or passing through on your way over or coming back from the bridge. read more

I have been to the nook a few times, always great food and experiences. Seems they are not open much anymore. When I drive by it always looks closed. If its not then an open flag or A frame sign might be helpful for buisness. Also several months ago I reached out for a small catering order for a work meeting. No one got back to me. Nothing fancy, inside needs a little love, but food and service make up for it all. Food is fresh and home cooked to order. Small menu, but several specials available. From the specials, I had the crab cake Bennie with a side salad. Crab cakes and hollandaise were perfect. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich with fried eggs and cheese in a bagel. Sounded crazy but was super delicious. The side of mash with his was amazing too, wish we could have finished it all, but the portions are very generous. We will be back soon. read more

The Nook has always been a favorite of mine and i have been going there for years and years. The staff has always been excellent except for one. Ive always thought maybe shes too busy (even when its slow), but now i think maybe its personal? We come in hoping to sit with other servers because on the days we get Angela... the other servers do all the work anyhow. She NEVER once on any visit, comes to ask us how our food is. Not once. Ever. She never comes over to refill our coffees. I would rather sit with someone else. I wasn't a fan of my food today and I really would have ordered something else, but she never came over. I have been in the restaurant biz for over 20 yrs, and that check back at your tables is so important. I am beginning to think that she just doesn't personally like my fiance and I, however we are super friendly and always have a great visit with the other staff. We wish we could ask to sit with someone else. The only time Angela interacts with us is when she is taking our order and dropping the bill and its just become so regular with her and its plain rude. read more

I ordered a cappuccino, and it was excellent--smooth, rich, and exactly what I was looking for. My wife had an iced coffee, which she really enjoyed. We also picked up drinks for our kids: a chai latte and a dragon fruit matcha. They both loved their drinks and finished them almost immediately. Overall, this was a great coffee stop with excellent service and quality drinks. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Cape Cod.

I found the place on Yelp, and it was justva short walk from my hotel. When I walked into the parking lot, I knew it looked like my kind of place. I walked inside and the sign said "Seat Yourself", so I did. Very quickly, a pleasant lady walked over with menus and greeted me. As I looked around, I could tell this was a place the locals ate, so I knew it was going to be good! The nice lady, whose name is Cathy, came back with my drink, and took my order. The guy in the next booth had finished eating, so I spoke to him. He was very friendly, and confirmed my thought that this was a place locals loved. When Cathy came by to refill my drink, we talked for a couple of minutes. I told her that I loved hearing her call the local customers by name. Before she walked away, I told her that I was now a "local for the day". She confirmed and said I was her new BFF! The food came, and as expected, it was fantastic! I told Cathy that the fried potatoes reminded me of the ones my grandmother made for ne, when I was a child... and very good memory! Cathy checked on me often, and shared some history about Leo's. She quietly dropped off the check, and never made me feel rushed. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. To make it even better, she walked by my table and dropped off an Oreo scone for me to try! OMG! I'd never had a scone before! This one may have spoiled me! When I was all done, I walked up to the counter to pay, and tell my new BFF thanks and goodbye. She introduced me to the girl that made the homemade scones, so I was able to tell her how awesome they were. We talked for just a few more minutes, and I talked about bringing my wife and son up that way for vacation. Cathy said that she looked forward to meeting them, and then gave me a hug on the way out.
