Quoted one price then ended up doubling it with no other additional work. Was basically bull shifted about restocking fees and diagnostic testing (one electric clamp in the system) that created the additional cost and this is with me bringing in the part I paid $11 for and they quoted me $300 for a used one. Sad what people will do to seniors who,are disabled (veteran 20 yrs) who are at the mercy of bad actors. Don't recommend them. Shame they were good several years ago. read more

At first I had a great initial interaction and decided to have my vehicle serviced here. I called several times during the process as more and more work needed to be done than what I initially brought the vehicle in for. I just wanted an inspection to see what was going on after I was in an accident and was reassured everything was necessary and being taken care of. I trusted that. Not being a mechanic myself, I asked questions about whether or not the things coming up were related to the accident, and was told several times it definitely could be. Then only after I paid the hefty bill, was told the issues had nothing to do with it and they would not report it as such. I never asked them to say it was, if it truly wasn't, and felt I was being led on by being suggested insurance may cover this to continue using their service only to be blindsided with a hard no and bigger bill at the end. Now, if it was unrelated, that's fine. But the way I was being told it was related and encouraged on that process only to have all of those words retracted at the end with no accountability disappoints me and shows me the lack of integrity this business has. And yes, I did contact them prior to writing this review for some resolution, but all I am told is they will correct an inaccurate statement they wrote from me on my invoice. I don't know how they came to notate I had the body repaired when it's literally evident it has not been. Be wary doing business here. After a few thousand dollars and more than a few screwed up repairs I quit taking ANYTHING to these jokers. Their mechanics (stretch of the term to use) actually left out bolts holding my bell housing to my engine causing the transmission to have play on the input shaft. And they also bent my exhaust to remove the transmission rather than properly removing it. AMATEURS. read more

More hit and miss. Mechanical expertise is appears to be there but worth a 2nd look for office practices and cluttered lot. Took car in for door latch issue. Automatic actuator that operates the lock was replaced but wouldn't catch door post. Considered "defective". Took in again, entire door latch assembly including actuator replaced at cost. Expecting some degree of credit from first time for defective part but charged twice for basically same job for a part replacement. Hmmm. Future business will be minimal if present at all. read more

Over 1k for my breaks to get done. I could have done it myself for 230.00. And they lasted 2 months then they BROKE. my drums literally broke. I took it in they said it was all good. Got home, THEIR SPLIT IN HALF!!!! Good thing I checked myself. Could have killed me. Never ever going back their again. I'm not playing with my life so I learned how to do it and did it myself. THESE GUYS KILLED IT.. Took my Mercedes into the shop to swap out my duel exhaust for a Quad exhaust setup I bought the Quad tips at Apex.. THEY ALSO INSTALLED my carbon fiber diffuser (piece that houses the pipe tips) that I purchased somewhere else.. They even had a super sweet girl drive me to my house while I waited, wished I would have gotten her name hah They called me every step of the way even to ask permission if they could add an extra 30min to mold my tips to fit perfectly.. Hit and miss, at best. I had been using this shop, primarily due to the convenient location for me. On a couple occasions when my wife or kids dropped a vehicle off, they tried to slide in unnecessary services or products. One vehicle had to be "fixed" three times for the same thing and it still wasn't right. On one, they told my kid the car wouldn't make it another 100 miles, and that was about 5k miles ago. Brought my dads old Cummins truck to get a starter changed out. They called me back to let me know it was finished. As I picked it up this morning, they told my dad it took them a long time to get kicked over. My dad responds with a simple question "did you happen to prime the truck for a while? Because it's been sitting for 6 weeks?" THE OWNER then goes off saying, "excuse me, I have 17 diesels, so I know what the f*ck I'm doing. Also, well since I don't know what the f*ck I'm talking about, you didn't even need to replace the starter, your battery is too small and the wires are too old, you told me to replace the starter, so I did!" $530.00 later, we have a new starter for no reason, and an absolutely terrible experience that was unnecessary. Installed a full exhaust in my car and sadly had some MINOR modification needing to be done, went in to have my test pipe on my car cut and re welded, ended up spending 200 bucks on adding a cat and another 300 dollars for the welding and "bending." Looked pretty bad, leaked, did I mention they welded the cat straight onto my brand new 400 dollar aftermarket manifold? Instead of welding to a flange to bolt on to the header? Check engine light came on a day after their work due to shitty job splicing in wire to lengthen the O2 sensor to fit. Also got quoted 4 different prices, two of which after they already told me what the prices of labor and parts were and gave an estimate lower than before, like they were just going to keep raising the price if I didn't bitch. That being said they will not be touching any of my vehicles again, and if I could rate worse I would. read more

Really disappointed in their customer service. They ran a diagnostic on our vehicle, misdiagnosed it and quoted a repair that the vehicle did not need. We ended up towing the vehicle to another garage where they diagnosed it correctly and we ended up paying 1/4 of the quoted price from Apex. Asked for a refund of the diagnostic fee and was told that there was no misdiagnosis. Would not recommend them unfortunately. read more

totally disappointed without my car and without savings is how this place left me. It's really a steal a year ago I paid over six thousand dollars for fixing my transmission. They gave me three years of warranty. A month ago the transmission started to fail, they charged me one thousand four hundred for changing the radiator and according to them, extract fluids from the transmission. I asked them more than three times if they will charge me something extra and they said no. so that later they would tell me that the insurance would not cover the transmission and apart I have to pay 240 per crane. Since I do not have that money, they have kept my car and they do not return it to me. for the financial well-being of your family avoid this place. the thieves have more decency than this place. read more

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!! My 18 year old daughter took her truck here and got taken for 1600 dollars that didn't even fix the problem. The original quote was for 1020 dollars to fix the axle and bearing and when she went to pick it up they charged her 1600 dollars, saying it because they did the brakes, "On one side mind you" that was the extra fee. The problem ended up being the axle housing was bent, so I ended up fixing it myself and went to talk to them about it and they did nothing. Well, for my first review...... EXTREMELY RUDE and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I had the unfortunate task of having to go to APEX Auto repair for a 2nd time for repair of a wheel stud that was crossed threaded by my tire shop. I had a pretty good experience the first time and didn't mind going back. This last time I had to wait until Monday morning to call as I did. The lady that answered the phone was shop owners wife...asked to make an appt and told her "I will be in about 25-30 mins I hope" and was there about 35-40 mins later and now I had 9 cars ahead of me. The gentleman I spoke with that told me this was the owner and didn't care and was rude so I asked to make an appointment and made sure I was 25mins early. Then checked in with the guy who worked on my car last time and he was cool. But they still didn't have my wheel stud and wouldn't be in until the next morning. I explained, I have a meeting and don't know what time I could be there and he said just bring it in when you can. Well, I was working until 6 and couldn't make it. So, I called in again this morning the lady answered again and I asked if I could make an appointment for "wheel stud repair" and she said "well, drop it off and we will get to it." I explained that I needed the vehicle and just wanted to make an appointment for a solid time and she didn't want to make it because she needed to see the vehicle to see the work that needed to be done. I told her that it didn't need extra work and told her the make and model of the car and she says "Oh, well if you started the conversation out with that info in the first place" then put me on hold....she came back on, then some rude comments ensued by her and by this point I was furious. Now, instead of getting into a confrontation at their place of business I am writing this review and staying away. No one needs this type of company bringing them down. Was suggested to go here by Discount Tire back in July. Dropped my car off at 630 am thinking I would have to drop my keys in the drop box since they do not open until 8 am. I was promptly greeted at the door and invited in where all my needs were met in only a few minutes. What is even better is that when they finished working on my car they drove it to Discount Tire for me and dropped it off to have my new tires put on so that I could promptly leave from work to pick my car up from the tire place and head out on my road trip.
