I have had details done at numerous places. Went here after seeing reviews here and talking to the owner John. Bottom line is that they did an amazing job cleaning our Mercedes gl450 that had a significant amount of dog hair from our 2 labs. They also were able to remove some scratches from the car as well. John communicated though out the day given it took longer to get the car cleaned and the results were amazing. Better than i have seen at other places. I don't get the 3 star review. Looks like that person expected a detail for hand wash price. I asked for a full detail, paid for a full detail and received the best detail ever. read more

John's communication prior to the appointment was awesome. We scheduled about three weeks prior as I was just moving to Portland and was purchasing a new car. John went above and beyond installing a clear bra and ceramic tint on our new car. I had a long road trip the next day and had to have it done beforehand. I got to Apex and John was busy, but he stayed until 11pm to finish the job! He even called me during my trip to see how things were going. I can't recommend John and his crew at Apex enough. After last year's snowy winter we ended up with a huge dent in the trunk of our Mini Cooper. We ended up taking it to Apex and could not be happier. I found Apex Auto Spa while searching for a good, reliable place to have my small car detailed. My car was not very dirty, but I wanted a place that had good reviews and was not about "cutting corners" when it came to service to my car and customer service to me. Apex exceeded my expectations in all areas! I actually stopped in to make my appointment (I was in the area) and John, at the front desk, was super friendly and helpful. I was able to schedule to get my car in within a week and he gave me (what I consider) a reasonable quote to detail the entire inside of my car (and he even threw in a free hand wash to the exterior of my car in the price). I just picked my car up today (done in one day - no overnight) and it literally looks brand new on the inside! They clearly go the extra mile and take pride in their work. All of the guys I met who work there were friendly and obviously enjoy their workplace (which I think says a lot about a business). I will definitely go back to Apex anytime I need detail work done on either of my cars! read more

I haven't actually gotten my car and done the XPel or Cquartz stuff yet, but I have been asking John questions for weeks about things I want to do to the car as soon as it is delivered. I am thoroughly impressed both at the speed and thoroughness of his responses. I can definitely see that the folks at Apex know their stuff. I've been hesitant to take my car to a detail shop for several years simply because I'm more often than not disappointed by the results. Finally to the point where the car needed a good clay bar level of detail, I looked around and discovered Apex through Yelp. After picking up my car today, I can honestly say that it's the best detail job I have ever had with a car. It wasn't 100% perfect, but to satisfy that level of detail, in my mind, one would have to be inhuman or charge over a thousand bucks per detail. Anything that was missed, I'd truly consider negligible compared to the overall great job they did. Do yourself a favor and go to these guys. If a ridiculously anal person such as myself can be highly satisfied with their work, I'm sure you will be as well. read more

I just brought my 2015 GMC Acadia there this morning for window tinting as well as the 3M paint protection on the hood, door edges and door handle cups. After I made the appointment I realized I didn't have a ride home after dropping the car off. John, the owner, stated someone would be happy to take me there. When I brought my car in for the appointment, he was not it yet and had forgotten to communicate with the other employees that I would need a ride. The employee contacted John who immediately called Toyota rent-a-car to get me a rental car for the whole day. I was so impressed with him paying for a rental due to his mistake! The car was done at 4:30 the same day and looked amazing. I have had 3M and window tinting installed on other cars and have not nearly been as impressed as I was with Apex and the work they did. The staff are all very friendly and seem to take care of their customers. I would highly recommend Apex for these services! I will definitely be returning with any other future needs...maybe even some car detailing in the future. :) read more

John Farris and his team are world class. I found Apex after talking with other Tesla owners and doing a little internet research. I called several companies and decided on Apex after talking with John. His prices are fair, he's a delight to work with, and his application and detail team is second to none. As a small business owner myself, I am very impressed with John's level of quality, value, customer service and attention to detail. For example, I needed to pick up the car after hours and did not have a spare key. John put the key in a hidden location, texted me a picture, and parked the car outside so I could easily access the key and drive away. But that's not enough. John and his wife were waiting for us at 8:30 that night, just to make sure everything worked out ok. I was so impressed with their work on the Tesla, I took my mother's 1988 560SL to them the following week for a full detail. When I picked it up I couldn't believe it was the same car. These guys are magicians, and they have a passion for what they do and it shows. Next up, I'm taking my father's 560 SEC to Apex for more auto magic. The only fault I have with John is that he's not in Salem. Nevertheless, if you love your cars, it's worth the effort to get to Beaverton - and John will go the extra mile to make it work.
