I just completed a whirlwind Bend destination wedding for out of town family and because the date was set for a Sunday there were plenty of difficulties finding people who could make the day perfect. Michelle Williams made things more than perfect with her quick and beautiful hair styling and her great attitude. Reasonable prices, a can-do attitude, and a big smile went a long way to getting the day started right at 8am! Michelle even opened the Salon early and accommodated us in every way (yes, we did last minute steaming of a dress before running out the door). She made, what has often been one of the more stressful bridal moments, in to a very relaxing and fun memory for the brides and the bridesmaids. (Will post pictures when we get them!) So, thank you Michelle! Four stars for being confident, reasonable, accommodating, and overall fabulous. I wouldn't normally give so many stars as I'm very, very, very picky about beauty services, but Michelle exceeded expectations. read more

If you want your hair done...skip this place! My husband and I arrived 15 minutes early for his appointment only to find out that Karen "had forgotten all about it". She was working on someone else and asked a co-worker if she would be willing to do a man's haircut and the coworker said no! What? Customer service anyone? Will never return and did not stick around to give them our $$. Element 909 downtown charges $20 and you get a beer...will be trying them next. I made an appointment for a Brazilian and was informed that the esthetician, Teresa, was not in, but I could leave a message and she'd call me back to make an appointment. I did and she got back to me right away. I asked if she could see me ASAP and she obliged. The salon was clean and the staff was friendly. She was quick and did a very excellent job. I made sure to make my appointment for a few weeks out. I'll be for sure going back. It's so nice to find an esthetician who you can trust to do a good job! So great! Teresa at Apollo Salon has been working on my skin for several months now and has completely transformed my skin! I was struggling with acne for a couple of years and had tried multiple different products and even medication, none of which worked long term. Teresa initially got me some good products and I began to see improvement in my skin in about a month with products alone. She then performed a series of three IPL light treatments which cleared up my acne completely! Even after the first treatment alone, I saw crazy improvement in my skin; it dried up all the acne from the source and I was super impressed! My skin was super glowy following these treatments and I also noticed that my pores began to shrink as well! After my acne was cleared up I was left with a bit of scaring especially on my cheeks, so she performed a micro-needling treatment on me. She uses a very good numbing cream which made the pain super minimal (I felt more of a vibration than anything). With the CBD cream she provided, the redness and peeling that followed were very minimal. The micro-needling treatment was performed only a week and a half ago and I already see that my acne scars are fading! I also noticed that the wrinkles on my forehead don't seem as deep! She told me the micro-needling continues to improve your skin for up to six months after the initial treatment, so I am excited to see how my skin further improves! Throughout this whole process, Teresa did an amazing job working around my work schedule and providing a super relaxing and comfortable environment. I am forever thankful for Teresa and the dramatic transformation she did on my face! read more

I looooved my pedicure yesterday with Muna!! She is fabulous and fun and my toes look perfect. You can tell Muna really loves her job, connecting with people and making them feel good. The salon was clean and stylish, with an enjoyable atmosphere (I like that it doesn't have a strong chemical smell like many do), the pedicure chair was comfy, and the products were high quality. But when I broke a nail and needed a repair when she was out of the town, I called Apollo to see if anyone else could do it. Sheila was available the same day and did an absolutely perfect repair! I think the prices are great and the stylists are fun and professional. I have only had my hair done there, so I can't speak for the tanning and other services. My only recommendation would be, is for whoever the owner is, to get new couches. The ones in the lobby look like they came from a sidewalk and were giveaway. Please get some new black ones or re-upholster them to keep the "Apollo" theme going and jazz it up a bit. read more

Went here to get a facial, and never returned. She hit me in the forehead with the magnifying mirror, it bled and scarred. Had a headache the rest of the day, and couldnt even enjoy my facial. Sorry not paying 100 bucks to get hit in the head! read more

After moving to Bend, it took me a while to find a hair stylist who could highlight and cut my ash blonde hair. After having three hair stylists at various salons achieve mediocre to fair results, I found Ashley Aschenbrenner at Apollo hair salon. Over the last 10 months or so, Ashley has done a great job of 'fixing' my hair by removing my strawberry blonde highlights, and replacing it with the ash blonde highlights I'm used to. Ashley does a great job of listening, and takes notes of what she's done. It's obvious that she wants her customers to leave the salon happy! - On a side note, Ashley has also cut my 20-year old daughter's hair a few times. My daughter likes the way Ashley cuts her hair and bangs so much that she has timed her visits home from college to coincide with her hair cut appointments! read more

They do not clean their beds properly... beds are infected with a skin fungus (tinea versicolor) you could easily get it from tanning there. Once you get it, it is hard to get rid of. Also, Way Overpriced & staff is rude. read more
