I really wanted to give them 5 stars . We chose them because our agent said they had good reviews ( I take accountability for not doing my own research) . We are 1st time home owners, unfortunately I wasn't able to join my husband and agent after the inspection, I took my husbands and the inspector's word that everything looked good (with the most important stuff) plumbing, heating/cooling and also paid for our pool to be inspected. They provided lots of pictures and reports but not sure how they go about inspecting, we requested repairs afterwards for some of the minor electrical and safety hazards. Upon moving in , 1st day , no hot water , the upstairs bathroom was clogged , the AC made a big loud noise when turned on and off , the pool had issues already, not sure if they don't run hvac , water and things like that to make sure they're working properly but I was just very disappointed, I know things break and that comes with ownership but how is it possible that this wasn't noticed during the inspection? 1day there , tired from moving and no hot water , and the toilet clogged ...I don't know I was just hoping they'd let us know these things weren't working. read more

Good day, Peri The moisture has been addressed during the call my husband had with your partner. I believe that the lack of investigation (even courtesy of a home visit) resulted in your lack of knowledge of the moisture of the wall. The floor renovation happened 7 months after the initial inspection of the home. My contractor documented videos and photos of them poking the floor, it was even addressed on the video that the floor is so weak from the water damage that they only used the grip of the hammer with the slightest force and penetrated through the floor. In terms of the wall moisture, it was addressed by my insurance inspector. He mentioned they won't cover the damage because it is not caused by pipe damage. By the way, I would like to get a copy of any agreement you made with my insurance company regarding this issue. read more

Unfortunately, this company has cost us over $10,000 so far in our house for all the issues they missed. The roof was clearly not inspected as we have had multiple leaks since we moved in in June, and it needs to be all redone, we had 18 holes in our irrigation system, our house smelled like sewage because the drains in the showers weren't done correctly, our sink in one bath didn't even have the u- pipe that connects the pipes so water went everywhere, our shower didn't have a scold cap on it so it burned your skin, our pool equipment didn't work, electrical outlets didn't work and the missed a window that literally didn't latch so anyone could open it and come right in. The list goes on and on. Sadly, there is nothing we can do except keep paying for all the issues as inspectors are very protected by the law so they can do horrible jobs without any consequences. read more

Kevin and Joey inspected an old house for me recently and it was kinda fun for them since this was no cookie cutter house. They were very thorough and explained what some of the minor maintenance issues were to what some of the future expense may be with bigger issues. We were able to negotiate a repair credit as well as a few repairs by the seller which was aided by a detailed, written report from the inspectors. We hired them to return and double check the repairs. The re-inspection was reasonably priced and it gave us the assurance that repairs were completed correctly. FYI: I'm someone who has zero handy skills, without access to anybody with actual handy skills, AND I'm a habit worry-er who just bought a 75-year-old house, so, in my opinion, this house inspection was maybe the most important piece of my purchase process. I'm also a little bit of a know it all, even when I know I don't know anything- I google and think I know things, so there's that. It's why I have so many cats. I ordered my house inspection to be done by Apollo Inspections, at the referral from someone else, and met Peri and Billy for the first time at my soon-to-be-house. After extensive googling on what to look/ask for, I arrived with my spreadsheet in hand, fully prepared to be their shadow, making sure they don't miss things, you know, letting my controlling side really have that party it has always wanted. Like I said, cats. Ok, serious time. It was probably fewer than 10 minutes before I was off doing my own thing, planning where to hang the TV and picking out paint colors... because these two KNOW THEIR STUFF! I trusted them. Even though it would be me, without handy-ness, in this 75-year-old house soon... I trusted them completely. I knew they wouldn't let anything happen to me. When situations arose, they had two tiers of information for every sentence (ie: "As your inspector, I am telling you that this is _____, but as a person I'm telling you that my actual opinion is this ___.") and it really helped me calibrate what the real issues were vs what the not-actually-a-big-deal issues were. They also told me not to store my Christmas decorations in the crawl space under the house. So don't do that if you saw it on TV. In addition to feeling fully confident and secure, you'll spend most of your time laughing at their hilarious conversations with each other and you'll leave with a sad feeling that your best friends just moved to another planet. When you get the house report, you'll not only be satisfied with the detail of the report, you'll miss them again, and wonder if they ever want to go camping with you because they're so fun. In conclusion, Peri and Billy can come to my birthday. They didn't ask and I actually don't think they would want to, I mean they met me once and my hair was flat that day, but if they were all like "hey, I wish we could go to someone's birthday," I'd be all like, "you can totally come to my birthday." They left the AC on 70 degrees power was turned on during the inspection, in a vacant home, the people doing this inspections are either inconsiderate, idiots, jerks or all of the above. I am a Realtor in Las Vegas, and this is not the first time I've heard about them. Thier inspections are either lackluster or overly exaggerating cosmetics issues that are so simple Based on my interaction with them, definitely hire another company. This was a great review turned into a complete disaster. We moved in less than two weeks ago, Peri and her crew did the what I thought it was a great inspection but turned out to be the opposite. I trusted them and they were very professional and pleasant to deal with. However, until the reality set in- we kept having problems with air conditioners, refrigerator, cooktop, garage door, air filters...one after one, we spent so much money fixing them, then the garage door went off the track and destroyed my brand new car.What's worst is this is a brand new model and the replacement is on back order due to world wide supply shortage, and this is our only to go car. At this point, we can't even put any $ amount to justify the loss so far, especially we bought this property at the highest market. I'm a very positive person and always have good faith in people, but moving across country is probably one of the most stressful events in life, then your inspectors failed to discover problems that not only cost you money, but add more stress after moving in.
