This place deserves much higher rating! What a great late night find for drinks, dinner, and music! Recommended to try from a local bartender and loved it! Some of the best wings I've ever had! Also tried the Denver dip which also was moist and delicious! Fries excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music and service were great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For a high tourist traffic area I was surprised with how great this was even late at night! Will definitely be back!

So the wife and I wanted a snack and drinks. So we stopped by and gave this place a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bartender was really nice the place has a cool vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building is really cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We get wings and sweet potatoes fries. The food was really good and came out really fast. They have a really good beer list. We were out late that night and there were still open so we stoped in again for dinner. Also had live music. I got a buffalo burger with cheddar cheese and it was really good. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it.! We definitely recommend this place. Cheers !

We decided to try Appaloosa Grill, as it was within walking distance of our hotel. The staff were very nice and welcoming as they seated us took our drink orders. Taylor did a great job of answering our menu questions and taking our specific food requests. She did a great job of being there without being there too much. The food was delicious! My wife had a cheeseburger and fries. She ordered it medium with provolone. It came out perfect. I had a Buffalo burger cooked medium with smoked Gouda and fries. It was cooked perfect as well. The fries were hot and fresh, and salted perfectly. I tried the Pilsner Urquell Czech Lager. It was an easy, refreshing drinker, as pilsners are, that went well with the burger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Appaloosa Grill was a laid back, nice place to hang out after our flight to grab a bite and drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We would love to come back someday when we visit Denver again.

Overall it was average. The food was good but nothing exceptional, I did really enjoy the side salad. They had some good options for drinks but mine was too sweet. The service was also average (not the most expedient). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom was frustrating. I was told to use one in the main building. It was all the way downstairs and then all the stalls were locked!? Then when I came back up there was a bathroom upstairs after all that they let me use. So that was odd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, I'd say it's an average experience typical for restaurants on 16th St. mall in Denver. However it was very convenient to the Paramount theater where we were going to a show after.

I put in a pick up order for a Green Chili Bison Burger and broccoli. The order was ready when I arrived and it was a smooth pick up. The burger was unfortunately much drier than I thought and could have used for seasoning. The broccoli was good but too salty. I also wasn't given any utensils or napkins for the order. I probably wouldn't return with so many other choices in the area.

The food scene in down town Denver is happening! This spot was recommended three times and I see why! Cool vibes in this upscale bistro style eatery. Great bar, cost seating areas and inviting staff. They make a righteous Manhattan! The Carpaccio is legit, but that Baked Goat Cheese app. Steals the show! The house roasted Turkey Melt is fantastic with Pablano peppers, Gouda Cheese and Bacon Jam.

If there is one place in Denver I would recommend to anyone visiting it is Appaloosa. My husband and I both agreed that this was the best meal we had over the course of our 5 day visit. We stumbled in during happy hour, so I indulged in a couple of drinks. I don't remember all the specials but rail drinks were $6. I also ordered the bison chili fries from their happy hour menu and HOLY *UCK they are INCREDIBLE! They are a must try. I also had the lobster roll which comes packed with lobster and is served with delicious butter on the side. It does not come with a side like fries or a salad, so you may need to order a couple of items to get full. Don't hesitate to dine here. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is 1000/10.

    Excellent cocktails & food

Highly recommend, especially for late night delicious filling food, classy cocktails, & desserts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Live music Sat night at 11pm was fun and seating farther enough away that I could talk with my daughter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And they do accept vertical ID's of 21 year olds. Who knew that was a restriction that kept us away from 2 other nice places until we found this great spot!

Delicious food and good local beers on tap! Very friendly staff. Only reason for the 4 stars is they automatically add a gratuity charge to your bill that gets shared by the staff. The best of me hopes they're still paying their staff a fair and competitive wage...

I LOVE Appaloosa grill, but ive been trying to go since xmas and they are closed. Sign on door says "closed due to building issues", i wish there was some kind of notice of this on their phone number, website, or yelp? Wasted 3 drives there now.

    Are reservation needed?

Nope no reservations. Small place though. The live music is great!

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

The new space is bigger, which is nice because the old location could get pretty packed. The vibe is still completely over the top in the best possible way. Everywhere you look there's some new detail you didn't notice before. The cocktails were fantastic. Creative, balanced, and fun without sacrificing quality. And yes, some of them are literally on fire, which feels appropriate given the name. Also, I don't know who was in charge of the decor, but they clearly weren't afraid to commit to a theme. I'll just say there are some very noticeable decorative choices throughout the space that gave our table plenty to laugh about. If you're looking for a standard cocktail bar, this isn't it. If you're looking for a memorable night out, this absolutely is.

Both my girlfriend and I asked him multiple times to stop, but he continued anyway. After it became clear that he wasn't going to respect our boundaries, I raised my voice (not yelling, just firm) and asked that he stop serving us and that another bartender take over due to his aggressive and inappropriate sexual behavior. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he immediately told both of us to leave the bar. This was an incredibly uncomfortable situation to deal with, especially on New Year's Eve, and it left us feeling embarrassed and disrespected. The first thing my girlfriend said to me the next morning was how uncomfortable that bartender had made her feel, which says a lot. I truly wish we had never gone to this bar. No one should feel pressured, sexualized, or thrown out for speaking up when their boundaries are repeatedly ignored.

-All drinks $5 - Cash Only-…read more Fun speakeasy near Union Station. Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.

Price: This is the most budget-friendly spot I've found in the area. Almost everything is $5! It is CASH ONLY, but don't worry if you forget. They have an ATM inside for you to use. Drink: I ordered the Continental, which is their take on an Old Fashioned with a black cherry. It was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a cheap drink despite the price point. Service: Despite how packed it was, the service was incredibly fast. We got our drinks in maybe 2-3 minutes tops. The staff is efficient and friendly. Overall Experience: Whether you're visiting and staying near Union Station or just looking for a fun local getaway, I highly recommend this place.
