Definitely recommend a 5 out 5. For service, food, atmosphere. Staff and customer service is consistent and top tier. The kitchen is always buzzing, it is some what open so you have the view of staff making magic happen.

We had a lovely dinner at Jack's, celebrating a special moment in our lives. They had delicious food with lovely staff.

We came here for a team dinner and had a great time. Our server Jeff was fantastic and took great care of us. I had the seafood risotto, Brussel sprouts and wedge salad and the shrimp for an appetizer which I could have eaten an entire plate of those myself. They were great at accommodating food allergies for me. Everyone loved their food and recommendations made to us. I would definitely go back to try more things.

Go here and if you're lucky, you'll be in Vince's section. The steak was delicious and we loved every side dish/app we got. Bottle list is amazing

Beyond my favorite spot in the world. Get the bread pudding, you will dream about it. My boyfriend and I found this place a year ago and we still absolutely love it. Come here for happy hour of you don't want to break the bank and this have good food and drinks

Delicious food, great ambiance and excellent service. The waiter helped me by modifying the Chilean sea bass dish to be dairy-free.

We made a reservation at Jack's for our wedding anniversary earlier this week and were so happy we did! They had us set up at a nice table with cute little anniversary signs and the hosts mentioned it as well. We ordered cocktails and food pretty quickly, the cocktail was tasty and I couldn't wait to try the food. I ordered the wagyu filet with the lobster add on, and mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the spicy shrimp and lobster linguini. Everything was So damn good. Some of the best filet I've ever had! We ordered a little dessert as well, a brownie with their homemade Ice cream and sauce and after dinner coffee. So tasty! The service from our waitress was great and everyone we came across were so friendly. Prices were decent and fair too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special event or night out!

exceptional service, and lovely vibe. i think i might have been out of my element on what to order, because i was really craving a steak, and the steak i got did not satisfy that. i recognize this is more of a me problem. i also didnt like the mocktail i got, but the server took it back when i mentioned that and didnt charge us for it. the brussels sprouts were my favorite part, but it mightve been a bit on the salty side. i also had a bite of the salmon, and it was absolutely amazing, maybe the best salmon ive ever had in my life. i think, next time i come here, i will get the salmon.

Came to Jack's on Pearl Street for early evening drinks with friends and snagged a walk-in table on their patio without a wait at 5 PM on a Friday. Perfect summer vibe - relaxed but lively. The Triple Combo Sashimi (Otoro, Bluefin, Salmon) was the star - buttery, fresh, and worthy of its People's Choice Award at the 2024 RARE Steak Competition. Cocktails were just as impressive. The Ghost of Paradise might be my new favorite drink in Denver - tropical, balanced, and dangerously easy to sip. The Shore Fire was crisp, refreshing, and had just the right chili heat. Great food, inventive drinks, and excellent service. Ask for Ryan - he's the best. What I ordered: Triple Combo Sashimi* (Otoro, Bluefin, Salmon) - People's Choice Award Winner, RARE Steak Competition 2024 Ghost of Paradise - 4 Year Rum, Passionfruit, Coconut, Lime, Agave, Mint (clarified with dairy) Shore Fire - Green Chili Infused Vodka, California Aloe, Anjou Pear, Lime, Celery Bitters, Cucumber

This was one of the best meals, and the only reason why I'm giving it four instead of five stars is because of a little hiccup we had at the beginning. We were on time for our reservation, but the restaurant said our table wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes. There wasn't a whole lot of apology there. They ushered us upstairs to the bar area to wait (and buy drinks). A comped glass of champagne, or maybe a comped appetizer or dessert would have gone a long way and would have been the level of service we'd expect from a nicer, pricier restaurant such as Jack's. Obviously, that didn't happen. When we finally got our table, the evening did improve. Despite the less than stellar beginning, the rest of the evening was quite delightful. Service at our table was absolutely impeccable. We enjoyed the sashimi trio, and I get why Jack's makes a big deal out of their fish. The fish was so buttery and flavorful! The French onion soup was piping hot and full of all the classic flavors you'd expect. The Kansas City ribeye was more on the rare side of medium rare, but I actually didn't mind that. The meat was juicy and tender. Surprisingly, the French dip sandwich was probably our favorite over the steak. They use prime rib, and it is a standout. When your server tells you that of all the things the staff can pick for their shift meal they pick this sandwich, then you know you have something special. Finally, we ended the night with the chocolate chip cookie, as recommended by our server. It's definitely more of a skillet cookie, but without the skillet. Super soft and chewy and paired perfectly with housemaid ice cream. All in all, the meal was fantastic, and despite how the night started, we enjoyed ourselves. We'll likely be back.

Very nice, classy restaurant. Service was pretty good . As far as food , few things were great while others were lacking. We ordered coconut shrimp . I would prefer them crispier. Sushi roll that we ordered had overcooked rice . It was way too mushy . Steak , however, had a nice sear and good seasoning. It was delicious. Fries were tasty too, crispy and hot . Salad was fresh and delicious. We also ordered French boule . It was very tasty and garlic butter was great! I didn't care much for the ice cream dessert. Apparently made in house but it didn't taste any better than store bought vanilla ice cream. It was very sweet too. Overall it was a good experience . I'm not certain I would return for a pricey dinner knowing other restaurants with slightly better food.

I'd most likely give them a 4.5. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu/ordering. The restaurant was also nice and very clean. It was just really loud inside. The food was pretty tasty. The sushi was the only let down because the rice was overcooked so everything was just a bit mushy since it was all the same texture. The steak however was the highlight! Cooked really well with a great sear. Pricey place but they had quality ingredients and overall good food.

Wagyu ribeye, Chilean sea bass and crispy Brussels sprouts
    David M.

Neat surprise to discover this place after it's already been open for a couple of years just south of us. Very much liked our server Kevin and the hip ambience. Liked the food but not "as good as it gets." Sprouts were tasty but too greasy. Their wagyu ribeye steak--which they called their signature dish--had excellent flavor, but, and I know it was the ribeye so fattier than other cuts, just too much gristle and fat on it for us. I thought the Chilean sea bass was excellent, along with another "but", ... not a huge fan of the pea sauce on which it was served. That said, absolutely loved the arancini app and we'll definitely return. Good vibes, good food and good service are things to be appreciated and we'll give ourselves another try of it down the road. In the meantime, if we were going to be in town over NYE it would be a place we'd think about for a special way to say goodbye to 2025. Have fun, and be safe. Happy New Year to you all, David M

We started with the focaccia (with the ricotta and honey on the side) and it was so tasty. My partner doesn't normally like ricotta, but loved this dish! Then, we had the melon salad (very refreshing). We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff brought out complimentary glasses of bubbly rosé, as well as their special dish, which were the stuffed squash blossoms. This was a really thoughtful touch! For mains, we ordered the tagliatelle with lobster (this dish had a tiny bit of spice, which was fine for us but might catch someone else off guard), and the lamb loin. Both were excellent. Overall, we had a great time! We found easy street parking nearby, as well. My only downside would be that, because this restaurant is so popular, there are lots of diners, which makes for a pretty loud atmosphere. We ordered fried calamari, a medium-rare steak with fries and Brussels sprouts, four cocktails, and bottled still water. The service got off to a bad start. When our appetizer arrived, the waiter failed to notice that we had no utensils. After about five minutes of trying to get our waiter's attention, another server stopped by. In a joking way, I asked her to "try the calamari," hoping she'd realize we were missing utensils. Instead, she reached toward the food with her hand. I stopped her and pointed out that we didn't have any silverware. Her response was that calamari is "finger food" and should be eaten by hand. That's not the level of service I'd expect from an upscale restaurant charging premium prices. Things only got worse. Our waiter then refilled our glasses with tap water without asking, mixing it with the bottled water we had ordered. The steak, ordered medium-rare, arrived cooked closer to medium-well. The cocktails were also underwhelming--at $33 each, they were tiny, packed with ice, and felt more like a shot than a proper cocktail. Overall, STK is an overpriced, overhyped restaurant that doesn't deliver the quality or service its prices suggest. While the atmosphere was enjoyable, it wasn't enough to make up for the poor service, mishandled food and drinks, and disappointing meal. I won't be returning.
