    Lobster bisque

Generally was impressed by Range. Service first off was incredible. We did family style so was able to try a lot of dishes. I enjoyed all the salads, apps, mains - except my soup (lobster bisque) was inedibly salty. The Parker house roll with local honey butter and milk and cookies were sleeper hits. Solid cocktails and wine selection. Notably great service - sorry I can't recall our server's name now months later but it was appreciated!

Wagyu steak, French Onion Soup, and Potato Pave are my favorites! It is hard to find restaurants that make good French Onion Soup. Most places made it too salty but this place makes flavorful taste. It is my first time having Potato Pave, which is very crisp and uniquely presented. Wagyu steak is so yummy, too. Definitely will come back!

I came by just before closing and ordered Halibut and Carrots to take back to the Hotel room. Nice portion sizes. Both dishes included a light sauce that paired well with the main item.

Adequate lunch last Tuesday afternoon, nothing special, nor bad, but nothing noteworthy. I started with a bowl of lobster bisque. Taste was okay, but the consistency was thin, almost watery. Then I had the filet Mignon. It too was just okay. Interestingly it was served sliced, an odd choice for the presentation. The bordelaise sauce was rather bland. As was the potato pave. It's always a shocker for me when someone messes up potatoes. Add some butter, add some cheese, add some salt and pepper. Anything, just a little flavor, some seasoning please! Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was pleasant, classy.

Had a lovely dinner on my last night at the hotel. The selection of choice was a delicious and differently prepared Caesar salad {not pictured ( whole leaf, house dressing, crostini, parmesan crisps) }; and a shared meal of Alaskan halibut with sweet pea & herbed risotto, meyer lemon butter sauce, and watercress. The ambiance is pleasant and clean with a very attentive wait staff.

We went here for Valentine's Day 2025. I was not aware it was in a hotel when we booked it and thus were very glad we were seated in the main dining area and not the hotel lobby, despite, it being a very cool lobby and a hotel we have randomly strolled into previously based on the architecture. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We were seated in a private booth which was nice for the occasion. We got the pinot noir and riesling which were good and started with the grazing board which we enjoyed, especially the herbed goat cheese, but felt there was too much blue cheese crumbles and not enough crackers/bread for the amount of cheese/meats provided. We then got the short ribs and the surf and turf special, everything was very tasty! We finished with the maple cheesecake which was super good, but so oddly presented we honestly thought we'd received the wrong dessert initially.

I can't wait to visit and dine again! I took myself out for a romantic date night on Christmas and the service and other diners were like family. A divine and intimate dining experience for any local or happy traveller visiting our beloved city of Denver. The food is still making my mouth water at the very thought of it. Best ribeye I've had at a restaurant in a while.

We had a business dinner at the range this week and it was extremely delicious. One of the reasons why we picked the Range was a good selection for a variety of foods. It was nice to be able to pick from lamb chops, fish, steak or salad, it suited a lot of palettes. Impeccable we had a fantastic server along with weight staff to clear tape and provide the insight into various dishes ... this is perfect for a dinner service for 10 people

Wow! One of the best buttermilk pancakes in Denver! We have stopped in several times and the quality and flavor has always been spot on! These tasty buttermilk pancakes are served with maple syrup. And coffee and you've got a great breakfast! We often get our coffees from the Illy coffee shop also in the hotel. Service is great as this venue does not get a lot of customers. Yet, that's not due to the quality of their buttermilk pancakes - which are so good! Ambiance in the restaurant is good. Out in the lobby of the hotel, the ambience is spectacular! There are murals in the lobby area - the former teller area of the bank. The lobby is huge with the murals located high above. From the outside the hotel the restaurant is located within still looks like a bank with classical Greek / Italian columns and architecture. Highly recommended for their buttermilk pancakes and also the beautiful and historic murals.

This was probably one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Ordered: crispy Brussels Sprouts, Bison Burger, truffle fries, and Pepper steak. The restaurant is in a hotel. Pretty easy to find when going inside. We made reservation and were seated immediately. The vibe was upscale. Very chill vibe. No specific dress code. Waitress was great. She provided detailed answers to questions we had regarding the menu and gave recommendations. Everyone had a great attitude. I got the pepper steak and was concerned it wasn't a good portion but ended up not eating it all. The au gratin was AMAZING. It was layered with cheese and was addicting. The asparagus was well seasoned as well as the pepper steak. Delicious! My partner had the Bison burger and she absolutely loved it. She included the truffle fries. I thought they were ok, but she enjoyed them I would definitely try the place out. One of the best meals I've had in a very long time!!

Stopped in for dinner during a recent visit to Denver with some friends and walked having one of the best meals ever! The restaurant is located inside a hotel but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. Service was impeccable and the food was super tasty. My table ordered the brussel sprouts and crab cakes for starters and they were a hit. But it was my entree - the Colorado Bison Ribeye - that was the true showstopper. It was unlike any beef steak I've ever enjoyed - it literally melted in my mouth and was so full of flavor. Highly, highly recommend this dish prepared with local bison. My friend ordered the scallops and she scraped her plate clean. Give it a shot if you're looking for a nice dinner downtown.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

The thing I like most about Death & Co is the way the categorize their drinks: Light and playful, bright and confident, elegant and timeless, boozy and honest, and rich and comforting. I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino). The Blood Oath (mezcal, Vecchio del capo, Calabrian chili amaro, St. Germain Elderflower, lavender, honey, lemon). All were complex and delicious. You could pick out every flavor, yet everything melded together so well. They also have some basic bar food and snacks, but somewhat elevated. I had the D&C Burger and it was juicy, rich, and had some great accompanying fries.
