This place was a great idea but the manager is running the business to the ground. I have a menu that is older so I thought my acai bowl was 5 and some change. They increased the price and all I brought was $5 and some change. Not only would they not accept it but they did not care when I told them the last time I waited 20 minutes for the acai bowl. The girl with the hat shrugged her shoulders and didn't say a word. I am a local and love to support local businesses. This store does nothing right. Customer service is disgusting, the staff (especially the manager) are so unhappy and miserable. I will never buy anything from here again. read more

Apple a Day literally my to go/second home. First since I moved here a year ago, it's changed so much. The manager JJ doesn't mess around, you tell her something needs improving & she's right on it. Everyday there trying to better the place so yes sometimes the shelving situation looks messy but the restaurant side has more seating, it's more open & more welcoming. They have a big supply of vitamins, supplements, homeopathic medicines & natural organic products, being a block away it's super convenient for me. There fridges are always filled with great vegan/gluten free items, bread, wraps, almond milk etc... & as for there juices, JJ did any amazing job. I took a 5 day cleanse. And since then they've added so many more flavorsome juices. There almond & cashew milks are beyond delicious. Coconut water is super refreshing. The new chia seed & pear is sweet. I could go on for days. There Acai & Pitaya bowls are to die for. Huge portions, I add lots of fruit & honey. I personally think there the best on the beach. JJ always hook it up nicely. Food menu checks all boxes they have something for everyone. It always taste fresh & I love that you can see them preparing it. We had breakfast from here almost every day during our stay in Miami Beach. We ordered from the app and was super easy. We had once delivered to the hotel, other days we pick it up and once we dine in. This place is pretty damn legit. Healthy food, great quality, big portions, affordable. You can't get that combination of descriptions in most places. We ate the ahi tuna bowl and an acai bowl. When I was picking up food from the neighboring restaurant, I walked into Apple a Day out of curiosity. It's super cute and really hits the spot when you're looking for guilt-free, but delicious food. I'm in this supposed "health food" establishment waiting on my smoothie. As I'm waiting there are two patrons with dogs in here (bad enough for an establishment that serves food). To make it worse though both cashiers are petting and holding the dogs and even carried one behind the counter near the food that is out in the open. The smoothies are amazing, whether you're looking for vegetable-based or fruit-based, you really can't go wrong. My personal favorites are the vegan veggie burger and their peanut butter smoothie.
