My first impression when I bought the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd gen) was that they look sleek and premium from the moment they came out of the case. It was so easy to configure, and my iPhone recognized them immediately, so it was smooth. They were actually the noise-cancellation, convenience thing that I was looking for, so I purchased them. They have definitely met my expectations. All the staff at this location was so patient and helpful and did not just focus on upselling me to the newest item. I appreciate that many of these features are active noise cancellation. And when I'm at the gym or at work, they filter out most of the background noise that threatens to get in the way. That transparency mode is neat because when I need to, I still get to hear conversations clearly. Whereas sound quality is solid and clean, bass is steady but soft enough not to scare people off, battery life has also been solid: I can use them for hours without worrying about charging. Quality, comfort, performance; that is the worth of what I paid now. Advantages are clear connections, good sound quality and the portability needed. However, to others I can say they might see this as being on the higher price side. Disadvantages might include its price and the fact that they are small enough to easily be misplaced. This is mostly where I would give them a rating of 4.5/5 stars. I consider them beneficial to my lifestyle so I would buy again. And I want to recommend them to consumers who love Apple products, who work out regularly, who travel, and who need noise suppression to concentrate. But those are good enough to warrant it is worth the price if you want top wireless earbuds and are looking for high-end earbuds. read more

It wasn't the Baybrook location there's just no other way to Yelp Apple support they stated to be the middle guy I have charges on my account that are not on an active list on an inactive list that I have done their process and cancelled them all notified them since November there's a problem they steadily keep coming out of my account now I cannot because I had to remove my credit card for safety reasons I had to try to download an app and I can't even do that on my phone with Wi-Fi with phone service can't download an app on my phone and when I'm paid in full for my iCloud and my iTunes and her answer was let me tell you why this is happening and what we're not gonna do and what we can't do we can't give a refund when it's their mistake it's their mistake they just hide behind a wall of excuses and I have to keep paying the bill over $100 worth of charges since November and they keep coming out when they are cancelled. They keep automatically renewing when they have been cancelled. They are on the inactive list they are not on the active list and I am paid in full. I am so fed up with Apple. I've been owner since iPhone 4. I have a 16 pro Max and I am fed up with their responsive. We can't give you a refund. It's not our fault. We're the third party. We're the middle guy. No, you're not. You sold me the phone you make it mandatory. I have to have an iCloud down there you make it mandatory. I have to download your apps in my home on my television and on my phone you are responsible not me when I do due diligence. Went to Apple for an in-store pick up from an online order. You flash the pick up code along with your ID and you're out of the door in under 10 minutes despite how busy the store is. I haven't been to Baybrook in a while so Apple is now located where Footlocker use to be outside of Macy's. read more

Terrible service; took my Macbook in for a repair and was checked in, told they were running a diagnostics test, my MacBook passed the diagnostics test and I just needed a firmware update. The person that was helping me left and no one came by to check on the laptop for an hour, I was under the impression they were performing an update. They were not. Complete waste of time and also the chairs at the Genius Bar are so uncomfortable! if you're going to abandon your customer halfway through helping them at least give me a comfortable chair to sit in. Decided it was time to replace the phone after 3 yrs. I have to confess one the main reasons was the camera on the iPhone 11 which truly does not match that of the improvements of the iPhone 14 Pro. One feature that is definitely great to work with is the cinematic recording as opposed to the normal setting. Normal recording seems to take note and encompass everything captures, where as the Cinematic recording tends to focus on a single point. Either way HD of 39 or 60 is phenomenal. Now back to store, the feeling interning the store is much like allow me to help you and I will. Very well lit, so you can't be grumpy in here. The agent I worked with was very attentive and patient. I ordered the phone before arriving, however realized that it was not completed out before, I left home. I got distracted!!! Nevertheless, whipped out the old iPhone 11 and completed the task. New iphone 17 pro with a known issue involving having to sign into apple acct and icloud but password rejected. Phoned Bayrook number first but wound up talking to a nice lady in India with no clue. Phoned again a service rep from US did temp fix. Went to the store and finally Fabian figured it all out, took charge and went through the whole restore process completely. He was respectful and never talked down to me. In fact, he did a good instructional job and made sure I understood exactly every step of the process. Excellent. read more

The Genius Bar associate (Simi) that was working with me disappeared while my phone data transfer was being completed and never followed back up to make sure that the request was complete. I sat there for well over 2 hours waiting until I finally reached out to another associate for help. Also when I signed my new contract they did not properly allocate my AT&T trade in credit for my old phone so now I have lost that opportunity on the significant savings. Scheduled an appointment, was seen relatively quick. Tech ran a diagnostic test on my ancient 12, battery was the culprit, also it had began to swell causing the phone erratic. Phone was turn in for battery service, when i came back at my requested time the tech suggested to just replace the phone with a new one (possible it was refurbished phone). Not to be confused with Ab-ble, which is a store that will hook you up with great abs, probably implanted but anyway. This is a quiet and slightly more friendly Apple store in Friendswood (compared to many of the Houston Apples), which is a little more accessible but still can have long wait times and still can be really abrasive, and the costs for things are exceptionally high here. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Such a great company should have much better stores. But they're billionaires, so who am I to say what they're doing wrong. Did make an appointment prior to arriving. Everyone that we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Wait time seemed just a little long considering we have to make an appointment before we go; but, it was NOT the worst we have experienced in an Apple Store. And not long enough to be any kind of issue. This part isn't a store location issue I don't believe, but the passing you from employee to employee is irritating - there are employees at the door that don't really do anything but tell you see someone in a red shirt. What's the point if they can't check you in. The waiting in line to check in with a "red shirt" seems like another wasted step. Since they let you add the appointment to your apple wallet why can't we scan in ourselves at a kiosk (iPad...) - AND why don't the "red shirts" (or the two standing at the door) just scan your code rather than look you up by name? Just seems time-wasting. One negative issue was we asked to social distance while we waited (due to health issues unnecessary to discuss here, and not covid related) since there was an area where NOBODY was sitting, and I was completely ignored despite repeating my request twice. I don't normally write about retail settings, but in this case, I really do have to make a note to consumers I noticed before I started this evaluation that the store only had about 2 1/2 stars. I'm not trying to counter everyone else's evaluation but I am going to place my own experience in front of all of you to read. I haven't had a new iPhone in about five maybe six years and yesterday the screen froze. I went to a Verizon quick repair place and they couldn't help me. Before I left that store however I had them google the closest Apple Store, which happened to be Baybrook. I went there and a young gentleman by the name of Mikie helped me with my screen issue and we started a dialogue from there about a new telephone. Mikie was an intensely customer centric person who was completely absorbed in very efficiently and effectively replacing my phone, seamlessly. Within two hours all of my data was transferred. I walked away with a brand new phone and perhaps one of the most pleasant customer experiences I've had in a retail setting in quite some time. Posted outside your store is a requirement for masks. Strongly enforced by your staff. But there were too many people in the store, no one respecting physical distancing, and no sanitizer available anywhere in your store. Makes no sense to force everyone to wear masks when the germs will thrive in a place with fingers touching all the displays and items on the tables. One of your employees came right up to my face to tell me I wasn't wearing my mask correctly. Maybe you should take down your sign or train your people to observe all your restrictions. read more

Have used this store exclusively for my iPad Pro first gen. Early adopter, loved it but never could get the keyboard to work. Either it would say "accessory not recognized" or nothing. Sure they replaced it 6 months after purchase...with the same messed up keyboard. Now that Apple has a 3 year extended warranty instead of the 1 year warranty, (a recognition in this reviewers opinion the they finally had to admit it was junk), anyone who jumped on this iPad Pro early, say in April 2016, is "outside the window". Message to their consumers I guess...let our stuff sit out their for a few years while we work the kinks out. Sad. But hey, Microsoft Surface is right across the walkway. Problem resolved. read more

First time I went there to fix a battery issue and they did a system upgrade but my computer couldn't handle it so I went back and they wiped my memory. I had 4 phone calls with support and they couldn't help so I went back again and they went back to the old operating system then it worked. I have to say from the outset that I dread going into Apple stores for 3 reasons. First, they are almost always uncomfortably crowded, second is the way the customer is treated once they are able to find a "check in person", and third is I almost always spend more money than I intend to because (even though I have an appointment), I ALWAYS have to wait 5 minutes to half an hour for an associate to assist me. During the wait time I invariably start looking at all the Apple stuff I don't need - new iPads, Apple watches, and all those dang accessories! But this latest trip was different. One of our daughters was having an issue with her Air Pods, and the warranty was set to expire in a couple of days. Since she had to work, my wife volunteered us to take them in for repair or replacement. Our Apple genius was a young lady named Thu (pronounced "two"). I EXPECTED Ms Thu to look at them, test them, then come back to report bad news - because that's the way these things usually go. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised at how quick the ear phones were evaluated and pleased to find out they would be replaced with brand new ones. Since we had this issue and another customer right behind us had the exact same problem, I asked Ms Thu if we could buy Apple care for the new ones. She said of course and only charged us $29 for 2 years warranty against loss or damage. (GREAT DEAL!) In my mind Ms Thu is number One (1) and I will be requesting her assistance in the future. Today's experience going into purchase an upgrade for my new phone was really great . I read a lot of reviews discussing the long waits and was very apprehensive about the time I might spend this morning . I arrived at 10:30 AM and was waited on immediately. Discussed my phone options ,including trading in my older 6S , which was worth $200 in trade in value, and within 15 minutes purchased my new Apple XR phone and after downloading from the cloud my new phone was up and running within 20 minutes. Be a smart shopper ! The day before , I was at the ATT store across from Baybrook Mall and my older phone was only going to get me $60 in trade in value . Apple store gave me $200 credit .
