Wendy, Lynn and Lexee made it so easy from the beginning! My fiance and I met with Wendy and Lynn first to discuss our wedding floral vision. They walked us thru look-books, went over literally every single option available for us (and let me tell you, there's A LOT) and then during our meeting with them, they pulled flowers together to give us ideas of what our arrangements could look like for our special day. It's hard to not like flowers, but even harder to pick favorites! We gave the gals our vision, our colors and then let them have creative freedom to create a masterpiece. And boy oh boy did they deliver! Because I like everything, I told them to have fun with it and I don't think it could have turned out any better. From the centerpiece on the arch at the ceremony, to the pocket squares for the guys, to my bridal bouquet, everything was STUNNING. It was hard for me to part with my bouquet after the wedding (don't worry, I ordered some resin art to preserve it! I HIGHLY recommend this so you can look back on it and smile and think of your special day). Since we got married last week, I don't have photos of the resin art we ordered, but the samples they showed us *chef's kiss*. It's truly an art form and the florals smelled so good too! All of my guests kept telling us how beautiful the colors and floral choices were. And They were so unique too. Nothing against a flower type you can get in a store, but man, the types of flowers they used were just out of this world. My husband and I are in our 70's. We had 60 guests and we spent $5,000 at Apple Creek. I had three bridesmaid sized bouquets, two boutonnières, nine centerpieces that I provided, each with a circle of flowers around the bottom of the display. In addition there were five or six small flower arrangements and a curtain with a bouquet of flowers for the ceremony. A third of the expense was having the Apple Creek wedding day coordinator. At first we were delighted with the idea of someone in the know helping us. Our coordinator was warm and helpful and told us that she would have the extra food put in our car before we left. After the wedding I found that the flowers circling the centerpieces were cut very short and that Apple Creek had neither warned us or provided a way to transport them. At home we found that the only food was a plastic bag with lettuce in it, and the top of our cake, which had melted and was leaning over the plate. When I looked in the box that had held the bouquets I found two untouched boutonnieres that were at the bottom of the box. When I contacted Apple Creek they replied that they were not responsible for any of these problems. read more

I ordered flowers for my Aunts 96 Birthday. I was told I'd get the most bang for my buck with designers choice floral arrangement. When I received the picture of the flowers I was very disappointed. Very small arrangement, mostly greens, which are a low cost filler. The arrangement was delivered Tuesday afternoon and the picture was taken Friday afternoon and as you can see next to a table fan, how small the arrangement is. The flowers were not wilted when it was received, but did not last terribly long. If I had paid $40, I'd say, you get what you pay for, but this is an $80 arrangement, with tax and delivery, $100.00. I guess, from some of the reviews, I just expected more. From the picture posted of the $30.00 bouquets purchased by locals, I expected at least that for 2 1/2 times the money, but. . . when ordering long distance, I don't think the same amount of effort is made, as you are not seen as a returning customer. I ordered before from here, but never asked to see what was sent and if I hadn't seen these, would have ordered my Easter flowers from them as well. read more

I knew walking into Apple Creek Flowers that they would be perfect for the job. Their cute boutique upfront is warm and welcoming and their thorough consultation sealed the deal. Working with Lexee was such a pleasure! She coordinated our entire wedding and executed every vision I had perfectly. We were married in Long Grove but had our pictures taken downtown. Lexee made sure our bouquet's were delivered to our hotel on time so we were able to use them throughout the day for photos. They set up the entire venue while we were out adventuring the city. Apple creek did our wedding flowers everything from personal bridal party to the table center pieces. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. When they saw my venue they knew I couldn't do open flames (even though that is what I chose) they called me and let me know then they went to the store and purchased flameless candles. Very helpful! I called last minute to order flowers, and Apple Creek Flowers was absolutely wonderful! They made it so easy and there was no problem having same day delivery. I don't like using national florist companies such as 1 800 flowers because they will continue to randomly charge your credit card, so beware. After speaking with Elizabeth from Apple Creek, she said that they try to educate people about buying local instead. Next time you want to order flowers please google or yelp local companies and go directly through them. read more

Our father's funeral was held at St. Mary's in Woodstock. Apple Creek provided most of the flowers sent to the church that day. They were all beautiful arrangements and lasted several days, whether as a few blooms taken home that day, or most left to lay on the gravesite (our family went back to the cemetery several times and each time the flowers still looked great). In addition, about three weeks later, as our family was writing out thank you notes, Lynn (at Apple Creek) graciously provided the names and color of the flowers and plants for each arrangement so that our notes didn't just say "thanks for the flowers." I have never ordered flowers for Valentines Day before. I imagined it would be busy, duh, but I never knew that if you ordered online the same day, they would deliver the next day. No one wants flowers Feb15th! I searched and searched until I found Apple Creek Flowers online. The website was easy to navigate. I called them to make sure it would be delivered the same day and that my mother would get them before she left work. The lady working was so incredibly sweet and understanding. I KNEW she was busy, but she treated me like the only customer in the world. Phenomenal customer service!! They even delivered earlier than stated.
