The woman who took my order was kind enough to offer substitutions for me when my ambitious stomach wanted a good three things off the menu. The biscuits and gravy were warm and gooey. The potatoes O'Brien were golden and seasoned perfectly. The eggs were fluffy. The bacon was crispy. Oh, but the coffee? The coffee was divine. I was saved by that coffee in ways I didn't even know I needed saving. I highly doubt I'll be out in El Monte again, I just... don't ever have any business there, usually.
