They special made me a club bacon cheeseburger with homemade fries was amazing.. I told him I didn't want a patty melt and I describe exactly what I wanted and they made it for me.

I have friends in Alhambra who absolutely love this place, so they took me here for lunch -- and I'm glad they did, because it's not necessarily the kind of spot that would've stood out to me or that I would've chosen on my own. We had a large party (7 people) but it was easy to get a table and even bring another table over to accommodate us all. The atmosphere inside isn't really anything special, but the service is stellar and the food is good. My ham steak was one of the best I've had in LA -- perfectly cooked, and a nice ratio of meat to fat. My eggs scrambled with cheese were a solid option, though next time I'll probably request french fries instead of the hash browns. And next time I'll ask for my English muffin toasted well done, as it came out warm but not crispy at all. My friend ordered pancakes that looked amazingly fluffy, and another friend enjoyed her churro waffle, which looked spectacular. Diet Coke served in a can rather than fountain -- but that's OK, as it guarantees freshness and fizziness. Cash only. Ample parking. Family run. Give it a try!

LOCATION - Plenty of parking with no time limit. You'll see their large Apple Jacks signage in a bright yellow. You can't miss it. From the outside, the windows are very tinted and it almost looks closed but as soon as you enter, it's a completely different story. The walls are bright "egg yolk" yellow, filled with cute farm house decor. FOOD - I ordered the BREAKFAST BURRITO, which was a nice size! It had hash browns, eggs, bacon, ham, and cheese. I also got their salsa on the side. I do wish the hash browns were a bit more crispy but overall, I give it a 7.4/10. I also got their CHURRO WAFFLE COMBO and the combo plate was comforting and delicious. The Churro Waffle itself was so good! It had a robust flavor, full of cinnamon and cajeta. Sweet but really good! I give that dish a 9/10. SERVICE - Our waitress was super nice, happily helping us the entire time. Everyone who works there moves fast but it doesn't take away from feeling welcomed. I believe it's a mother, daughter duo based on other reviews, so that's a beautiful touch to this Latinx-owned business!

What's up!!! Haven't been to this spot in years! Very glad I came back and had a great experience. I was immediately greeted and seated. Service was amazing and the servers kept the coffee coming! The sirloin steak was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

Probably one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a very very very long time. The service is very fast, they are constantly attending to our needs or wants, the food is amazing with great big portions. The staff was cheerful and very personalizable. If you are looking for a mom and pop location with amazing food this is it. Don't mind the picture just me enjoying my coffee at this great location. I am not from this area just a passing by and I don't know anyone at this location. I will be coming back.

In an area full of pho and dumplings what find on a rainy Saturday. Lots of locals and regulars. Super friendly staff and patrons. Price point spot on, portions large, but not enormous, food tasty, coffee good, decor fresh and clean, a no nonsense straight forward coffee shop. Cash only. Chicken fried steak with crispy hash browns. Yummy Steak and eggs and pork chops and eggs just as good. Can't wait to return.

Great American and Mexican food. Old school cafe with great home cooking. Must try if you are in the mood for home cooking.

Marko's Breakfast & Dinner in Temple City is one of those rare places. My wife and I were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. We also had the pleasure of meeting Marko, the owner, along with his wife, Michelle, and Antonio, who was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. You can immediately tell this is a family-run restaurant where people genuinely care. The food was exceptional. I have honestly never had hash browns this fresh before. Marko explained that they're never frozen and are delivered fresh the same day. The tomatoes were equally fresh, the strawberry jam was homemade, and even the dressings are made in-house. Nothing tasted mass-produced. Every bite reflected the care that went into it. Our food took a little longer to arrive, and I actually appreciated that. Fresh food should take time. I'd much rather wait a few extra minutes for a meal that's made to order than have it appear instantly. The menu has plenty of choices, the prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the hospitality was just as impressive as the food. I have a lot of respect for people who spend their lives mastering what they love and eventually build something that reflects that passion. Meeting Marko gave me exactly that impression. If quality truly matters to you, give yourself the chance to eat here. It's easy to see why places like this earn the success they have. Some friends and I came on a Sunday afternoon and waited about an hour to be seated, mostly because we were a table of 12. If you're a smaller party, you'll probably get seated much faster. This place was packed, so you can definitely tell they're popular. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, but with a group our size, we were happy with wherever had a table open first. And of course, you get to watch the little planes take off and land while you eat, which makes the whole experience pretty unique. If you're into aviation, this is definitely a fun spot. Now, let's talk about the food. We ordered quite a bit, but the things that stood out most were the nachos, Annia's Omelette ($20), and the Club Sandwich ($16). We split the nachos amongst 12 people and, needless to say, they were devoured pretty quickly. Another plate of chips would have been perfect because we ended up with plenty of leftover meat, guac, and salsa but nothing left to scoop it with. A minor nacho tragedy. The omelette came with your choice of potatoes, and we got the hash browns along with a small stack of pancakes. The hash browns were crunchy on top and soft inside, perfect with a slab of ketchup. The pancakes were on the thicker, fluffy side, so naturally I drowned them in syrup and immediately felt a little guilty about it. The club was also really good. Crispy bacon, lunch meat, lettuce, and all the essentials. The string fries that came with it were freshly fried and nice and crispy. Everything was a pretty generous portion, and we left very full but with absolutely no regrets. Great food, generous portions, and planes flying overhead. What more could you ask for?

I felt it could've been a little better because our waitress only came to our table to check on us more and although my friend was getting his coffee refilled, they never asked if I wanted a refill on my water. My friend loves the Steak Picado con Huevos, substitute home fried potatoes for rice, beans, over medium eggs, and flour tortillas. He also added cheese on top of the potatoes. Since it was his favorite I opted for the same thing but with corn tortillas. The food was served hot but I was expecting it to have more flavor. The picado was ok. It was lacking spicy and was very tomato sauce forward. The meat was definitely tender and cooked to perfection. The beans were creamy but a little under seasoned. The potatoes is what lacked true flavor. They tasted like boiled red potatoes with no spice, no salt, no pepper, and there was barely any cheese on top of them. Over all it was a fair dish but it didn't scream out super amazing. Given the popularity of this place, I will be back to try it again. Every item on a menu isn't great, even at the greatest establishments. I know there's something I will fall in love with.

My 3rd restaurant visited and stamp acquired. Nice! I have previously visited Moffett's twice for take-out only. My most recent visit was for dine-in. Interior has a quaint country home diner feel to it. Lots of inside bench and stool seatings. Desiree was my server. She was exceptionally attentive and made sure I got what I needed at all times. Thanks Dez! Here is their free food offering... 1 Chicken Pot Pie and 1 Slice of Dessert Pie for dine-in only. Wow, that's a great food and dessert combo! Thank you Moffett's! In addition to the chicken pot pie and slice of peach pie (my choice of fruit), I also got their Moffett's Melt with turkey (they offer chicken, too) plus homemade chicken noodle soup (you could get salad instead). Just one word, DELICIOUS! Food came out pipping hot. Flavors were amazing! Chicken pot pie had dark meat which I prefer. Good size and lots of moist and tender chicken chunks. It was covered with too much gravy though. I'll ask for the gravy to be on the side next time. As for the pie, it was okay... too much filling and not enough peaches. Crust was the highlight of the pie... very light and flaky with just enough sweetness! PERFECTION! Moffett's Melt had fresh lettuce and tomatoes with lots of crispy bacon strips and sweet turkey slices... highly recommend! Love the chicken noodle soup... so many chicken chunks! VERY GOOD! So glad I got a chance to dine-in. I look forward to future dine-ins and take-outs. Come check out Moffett's and support your neighborhood's family restaurant!

I'm guessing there are a few nursing home residents who enjoy them.
